And it was night, the full moon was shining brightly and stars twinkle.

And Star was gazing at the dark sky.

All of the family finally place their tent, and gather around the big campfire.

They were happy, boisterous laughter occur, and dramatic 'ohh' was heard when some students confess to each other.

Well... The Diaz family was depressed. Always hug each other and pat each others' backs.

And when someone asks what's wrong.
The have their fake smiles on..

Star was just beside the tent, gazing. Glossaryck was beside her, eating pudding.

"I'm so sorry..."
"No.. Its just an accident.."
"But... I can't... Le-"
"Oh son.. We will be alright.."

Star keep hearing those things even she didn't know why.

"Why they don't like to come out?" Star asked.

"Hmm.. Let them be.." answered by a magical small dude beside her.

"Let them be?! But the paintball fight will start in a minute! Marco is still in there.."

Star stand up from the ground and stomp her foot impatiently.

"Patience, princess. He will come out." Glossaryck suggested and ate another scoop of pudding.

Then after saying that, Marco came out.

"Marco! What did you do in there that makes you slow?" Star asked.

"Nothing. Let's go now." Marco lied and start to walk.

They went in front of the campfire, as students gather there.
They were on time.

Mrs. Skullnick showed up in front of the students and explained the game.

"Okay. A grade level versus another one. If you got shot twice, you're automatically out. The goal in the game is for the teams to guard their flag or attack to get their enemy's flag.
Its like Capture the Flag mixed with Paintball Fight. Now.. We will start from that section"

The teacher points to Star's section

"Versus that one..." Then points to another section.

"Walkie Talkies are allowed. Now... questions?"

But no one responded.

"Then off to the field. Remember, wear the necklaces I gave to you earlier.."

And after walking few yards away, they finally reach a huge field with two bases, with walls full of different kind of colors, and at the and of the base, was the flag.

"Now... You" she points to Star's section and points to the red base.
"Red base.. While the other one is blue. Now on my cue. The battle will starts."

The section of Star went in their base and started to go their places, ready their paintball guns and put armor, to avoid paintball scatter in their clothes.

They started to give walkie talkies and Star and Marco decided to guard.

"You hear me Star?" Marco asked through the walkie talkie and Star nodded.

"I'm so excited!!!" Star shouted in the walkie talkie and jump up and down.

"Okay. Okay. No need for shouting."

Janna ready her paintball gun, as well as Kendall and Diana, since they decided to ambush.

"Ready.."

Star put her walkie talkie in her pocket.

"Set.."

Marco take a deep breath to forget about his problem and have fun for this time.

"GO!!"

Then attackers started to ambush, while the guards started to shoot with paintballs to her/his enemies.

Since Star don't know how to use it, she remained silent and watch the fight while hiding behind a wall.

"Star? Star? Star?" The walkie talkie vibrates.

She grabbed it and press the button before she talk.

"Hey Marco.. What's wrong?" She asked.

"Janna was hit-"
"I'm dying Star!!"
"Hush! And our part was the main target of the enemies."

"Oh no. Are you sure Janna isn't dying?" She asked, worried.

"Its just a paintball.."

"STAR.. I WISH FOR MORE DAYS BUT.. GOODBYE!" Janna joked.

"Oh no... Janna.. Hold on..." Star said, pranked.

"Don't believe her... Anyways, need to fight for grades. Talk to you later.."

"Be safe.. I lov-" she covered her mouth. Because of too much worrying, she accidentally said it.

"Uhh.. What?" Marco questioned, puzzled.
Even Janna was confused.

"N-no-nothing!! I badly need to go." She lied and dropped the walkie talkie.

"Bye?" Marco said.

"Oh mewni..." She sigh. "Maybe that tip Glossaryck gave me make me realize I love him.."

She look down and realize that the talkie faced on the ground, making the button pushed all that time...

MARCO HEARD IT ALL!!!!!!

Star's jaw dropped,her heartbeat beats fast than before, she was nervous like heck.

Wishing Marco didn't heard it.

Meanwhile..

Marco stand there, froze, completely useless in guarding. Janna heard it also, but didn't finish when someone shot her but she dodge it.
She attacked again.

"REVVEEENNNGGEE!!" she protested.

Marco's P.O.V.

I don't get it..

Snap back! Ask her what! And listen!

This is a misunderstanding!

I snap back to reality and look at the walkie talkie and push the button and speak.

But no respond..

But its still the same.

I didn't got worried, maybe she just dropped it.

Then I was shot, twice.

*whistles*

"You're out Marco Diaz!" Mrs. Skullnick shouted...
While walking out of the field, I heard rumors..

"Dang... Diazes..."
"Shut up."
"Ohh.. He's Marco Diaz?!"
"Yup, I've heard its Jackie's boyfriend.."
"They just broke up.."
"No! Jackie showed us pictures right?"
"No its before!"
"Then so be it. Go to Star's side.."

Hmm.. Well, Marco is out..

I examine the gun thing and saw a whole in front of it. I look at it and accidentally pull the trigger, twice.

Paint covered my face..

*whistles*

"You're out, Star Butterfly!" Mrs. Skullnick shouted.

"Yup. Without Kendall's agility, she didn't get the flag and without Diana's intelligence, she can't plan how to get in their base!"

WOW!! I NEVER KNEW THEY WERE THIS AMAZING!!

"Well, effort." Diana smiled.

"And what could be the prize?" Kendall asked.

"Well... Plus grades!" Janna answered.

StarFan13 grunted...

"That's it? THAT'S IT?!" asked Diana, getting grumpy again.

"Well.. At least we have prizes." Kendall tried to change the conversation into a positive one.

"I guess you're right.." I nodded.

Janna look at her watch.

"Hmm.. Its 8:31 p.m., when we start the game is 8: 0 0 p.m." she said..

"Well.. I'm freaking starving.." StarFan13 rubbed her tummy in circles.

"I agree.." we said, replying back.

We proceed to our own tents.. Means that I walk alone.

Then someone grabbed my hand.

I turned around and saw Marco.

We proceed there, still he's holding my hand... OHGAWDOHGOD...
