Aeris' POV:

"This is the place." Ren said, as we walked into an old mine. "Hm... What's this?" I asked, peeking into a crate. "That would be a Core Fragment." S.A.I.L. Said. "You found one?" Recca asked. "Yeah." I said. "One down... 19 to go..." Ren sighed. "Ooh!" I said. "Find something else in there?" Ren asked, as he looked into the crate. "Ssshiny blade!" I said, pulling a spear out of the crate. "Whoa!" Ren took a few steps back. "Let'sss sssee... Ssshade co. Phasssepuncture...!" I read the words on the handle. "Lucky... I want a weapon..." Ren said, ruffling my hair. "Yay!" Yumi said, pulling out a shortsword from another crate. "Xia-Li Wardenrender is what mine's called." She said, she swung it, and flames appeared from where she swung. "Awesome!" She said. "Jealous. I'd like a weapon..." Zero huffed. "Me too..." Ren and Recca said. "Neutral. Shall we venture further into the mine then?" Zero asked. "Why, of course!" Recca said happily, as we followed him deeper into the mine. "Floran doesssn't really like dark placesss..." I huffed. "Yeah, it's pretty dark in here..." Yumi said. "Y'all make sure to watch your step." Recca said. "Observant. There are more crates." Zero said, pointing. "Weapons?" Ren and Recca looked in the crates. "Oh yes!" Ren said, taking an axe from the crate. "It's about time!" Recca took a gun from the box. "Neutral. I found this." Zero pulled a hammer from a different crate. "We found more Core fragments." They said, holding out some core fragments. I saw something move. "Watch out!" I said, throwing a flare into the mine. I saw what moved. It was a bat. I stabbed it with my spear, and it died. "Floran likesss killing thessse!" I said happily, as I went further ahead without the others.

Ren's POV:

"Annoyed. There she goes again..." Zero sighed. "Once she kills somethin', she can't stop..." Recca said. "Wow. That's... Uh... Dangerous." I said. "Yep. Classic Floran behavior..." Yumi said. "She probably won't survive alone, so we'd better get going." I said. "Yeah." Yumi and Recca said, as we all went down into the mine. "Neutral. Where is she?" Zero asked. "HEHE!" We heard a familiar Floran's laughter. "Well, there's your answer..." I sighed. "..." We all turned a corner to see Aeris. 'Thank god she isn't dead...' I thought. "Aeris!" Recca said angrily as he walked over to her. "Hm?" She turned around. "Hi!" She said, as if nothing happened. "What on earth were you thinking?!" He yelled. "Floran don't know..." She said, looking away. "Sigh... You just turned into a creature full o' bloodlust all of a sudden." He huffed. "Well, It'sss normal for Floran..." She said. "Just don't run off without us, alright?" He said. "Okay..." She sighed. "Hey, at least she cleared out the mine." I said, laughing. "Yes, yes she did... Almost getting herself killed in the process..." Yumi said. "True." I said. "I found thessse! Floran killed big, big monssster, and it dropped thessse cryssstal thingsss!" Aeris said, holding out a bunch of core fragments. "Holy s***." I said, as my eyes went wide. "Wow. She actually did somethin' productive in the process!" Recca said. "Thank god..." Yumi sighed in relief. "Hehe!" Aeris laughed. "Well, I think it's about time that we head outta here." Recca said. "Right! We still need to activate the gate, and meet this person." I said. "Floran wantsss to meet them! They could be Floran too!" Aeris said happily. "I highly doubt that." Recca said. "Pffft!" Aeris stuck her tongue out. "Logical X They're most likely human." Zero said. "Anyways... Let's go!" Yumi said happily.
