She got ready and wore a peach A-line skirt and a white t-shirt.

She came down with her bag. Ava saw her coming downstairs.

She looked very angry.

" I have heard that you are going on a business trip with Aiden.", Stephen who sat on the dining table said looking at ava.

"Yes.", Amaya.

"What? Is mom angry?", Amaya whispered to her dad. Stephen nodded.

"Mom. I am going to leave now.", Amaya.

"Amy, You didn't even tell me about this.", Ava finally opened her mouth.

"Well. I am not even aware of this. If you want to scold someone , then it should be Aiden. He didn't even tell me about this and called me by morning.", Amaya.

"YOU? What are you up to? These days I couldn't even see you. You are coming home very late for a week. What you and Aiden are doing?", Ava.

"Well You both are the one who asked help from Aiden. He gives me a lot of work and I even work overtime because of it.", Amaya put entire blame on Aiden.

"Honey! You have to talk to him about this.", Ava said looking at Stephen.

"You !!did you take all your medicines.?", Ava

"Yes I packed all I need.", Amaya.

"You better take care of yourself. Come in one piece. And this is the last time I am letting you to travel all by yourself.", Ava.

"Yes. And please tell William about this. I couldn't see him today.", Amaya said and hugged both of them.

And left to airport by cab.

"You are late, Amy.", Joey said staring at her.

"I am so so..", Amaya.

"I am just joking. Amy, you can do any mistakes. And I am not going to lash out at you. You have did a very big favor for me.", Joey said smiling. Amaya smiled at him.

"Well, you can buy me a lunch.", Amaya.

"Of course", Joey.

"I am also in for this.", Derrick came out of nowhere. They both stared at him confused.

"WHAT? Why are you both looking at me like that? Joey if I didn't say 'yes' to the director, you won't be happy like this. Shouldn't you have bought lunch for me?", Derrick said winking at Amaya.

"Okay. Let's have lunch together.", Amaya said.

Soon they got into their plane. After few hours they all reached their hotel and took rest. There are few night outdoor scenes. Derrick had quite a few scenes and Derick, Amaya, Joey had lunch together.

Derrick went to rest. It is just Amaya and Joey chilling outside.

"Joey, Can I ask you something?", Amaya asked and joey nodded.

"There is a rumor that derrick won't be signing again with Smith. Is that true?", Amaya.

"Oh, Amy! I have expected you to ask this earlier. Well, Derrick is not okay with Jayden Warren. He is not listening to artists opinions and what they really want. He is a sadist. Derrick always gets frustrated every time there is a meeting with him. You can say that he and derrick are not in the same page. So Derrick is a bit hesitant about signing again with here. And the people from Ren are already approaching him. So there is a huge chance that he will be signing with them.", Joey ended with a sign.

"It will be difficult for you when that happens. Right?", Amaya

"Let's hope for the best. These days he is ignoring the people from Ren entertainments. May be there is a chance that he will be with us again.", Joey.

The next day, Derrick rested full day because he don't have any shoots. Joey didn't allow him to leave the room because of paparazzi. So Amaya accompanied him entire day. At the evening Joey left to talk with director. Amaya left to her room. She got ready to explore the places. She wore her casual pants and tops. She did a light make up. She prayed No-one sees her leaving. She have to pass through Derrick's room to get into the lift. She tip-toed. She almost crossed the room but Derrick opened and saw her.

" What are you doing?", Derrick asked leaning on the door frame.

Amaya didn't turn back and sighed heavily.

" I am not Amy.", she said and took a step.

" I didn't say the name.", Derrick said with a playful smile.

Amaya clicked her tongue. ' My tongue is going to build a grave for me one day.'

She turned with a smile.

" Hey Derrick. Good to see you.", Amaya.

" we just met an hour ago and you are acting like we haven't seen for days.", Derrick.

" Is that so? Oh my god! It is just I missed you.", Amaya.

" you? What are you up to? Where are you going?", Derrick.

" me? I am up to nothing. I am just going to explore the hotel. It is so beautiful."

" you are going to explore the hotel that has exact same rooms. And you have changed your outfit and had your bag for that. You have to learn to lie.", Derrick

' I am a master at lying and I can't believe I have caught by him.', Amaya thought

" well since you have found it. How about you pretending that you didn't see me?", Amaya.

" you are going to explore the places at night?", Derrick.

Amaya smiled at him.

" you know Joey strictly said not to go out.", Derrick.

"SO ?", Amaya.

" so if you allow me to accompany you..", Derrick. Amaya widened her eyes.

" I am not coming with you to enjoy. Just for your safety.", Derrick.

" What makes you think that I can't protect myself?", Amaya.

" Amy, you can't protect yourself when Joey gets to know about this tomorrow.", Derrick.

" I guess I don't have any choice. But you have to come in disguise.", Amaya.

" Don't worry about that we won't be caught. And Joey won't be coming till tomorrow . He called me.", Derrick took his time.

Both of them wore caps and derrick had a mask.

They both got outside of the hotel. Amaya already rented a black bike for the night.

"Amy, WOW! You have rented this? Superb", Derrick said showing the thumbs-up

"Here, wear this.", Amaya said throwing a helmet.

Amaya wore hers and seated. Derrick sat behind her.

They both saw the Buckingham foundation's water show and enjoyed a show at Chicago theater. They had some special foods, and finale came to 3600 Chicago. It is an observatory deck. From that height, we can see the spectacular city which is so busy even at night.

Both Amaya and Derrick are amazed by this.

"I am glad that you brought me with you, Amy", Derrick.

"I didn't bring you. You literally blackmailed me.", Amaya. Derrick playfully smiled.

"Well I enjoyed a lot. I have always wished to travel with my family and explore the places. But with the tight schedule I couldn't even visit them once a month. This day really gave me a peace.", Derick

Derrick mobile rang.

"Is that Joey?", Amaya feared.

"Don't worry it isn't he", Derrick.

"Why are you not attending?", Amaya.

"It's from Ren entertainment.", Derrick. Amaya widened her eyes.

'Probably from Alexander.', Amaya thought.

"Since you are not asking any questions , I guess Joey told you about this isn't it?", Derrick. Amaya didn't answer that question.

Derrick sighed, "I am reconsidering it"

"WHAT?", Amaya is shocked.

"I am reconsidering about signing with REN", Derrick.

"I thought you are going to sign with them.", Amaya.

"What would you want me to do?", Derrick asked.

"May be something your heart wants. Just choose it. You won't be regretting if you do. I do support what ever the decision you make. I am saying from my heart.", Amaya .

Derrick nodded at her words.

"Well that's what I want to do, Amy. But in the past week, there are many changes happened in the company. Our COO is changed. Newly, Mr. David Brown is appointed from the headquarters. He is a very experienced man. And he already had meeting with artists . He said that there will be more rights given to artists from this year. And the conditions of the contract will be lessened. So I am going to wait and see.", Derrick.

"REALLY? That's good to hear. Joey will be more happy", Amaya.

After few hours they reached the hotel by 2 AM. Derrick drove all the way and Amaya slept on his back. They reached Derrick's room.

"Amy, Thanks for letting me drive.", Derrick said. Amaya is trying to get up from her sleepy mind.

"Just keep your lip sealed about it. And Sleep tight. Bye", Amaya said and left to her room.

The another day shooting went by successfully and everyone returned back to LA.

"Have you guys missed me?", Amaya asked taking a seat on the sofa.

"No we didn't", William said without looking at her.

'It's just 5 hours since I returned. He is causing me a headache already.', Amaya thought.

"Leave him. He is grumpy for the past three days.", Ava said patting her head.

"Mom, I bought something for you.", Amaya said giving her a paper.

"OH MY GOD! You.. How did you get this?", Ava asked looking at the autograph of Derrick which She got from him in the morning before they left Chicago.

William huffed at them and left to his room.

"What has gotten into him?", Amaya asked looking at her dad.

"He is angry that you left without saying bye to him.", Stephen.

"He is a child.", Amaya commented.

"I agree", Stephen said smiling.

In the Ren entertainment, Alex called Steve to his office. After a few minutes, Steve entered with a hesitation.

"Steve, You know its been a week since you lastly updated me about Derrick.", Alex.

"I am sorry, Mr. Robert. But I couldn't reach him.", Steve.

"You lastly said that Derrick is pretty much okay with signing with us. What happened all of the sudden?", Alex asked losing his temper.

" I am not sure. The last time he talked with me he said he will be deciding within this week. May be he is having a change of mind. The COO of Smith entertainment was changed and they had promised the artists that they contract will be made in the favor of them.", Steve

"Leave", Alex said with anger.

His phone rang. It's laura.

" Alex, Derrick gave an interview. He said that he is going to be signing again with Smith's .What is happening?", Laura asked him impatiently.

Derrick sighed and explained the situation.

"Oh Alex! I told you it is matter of reputation. There is still some time left. Convince him . do something.", Laura said and ended the call.

"I can't trust anyone. I have to do it by myself.", Alex said.

He asked Steve to come with him to meet Derrick.

Amaya parked her bike. Today is the last shooting day. Aiden called her.

"You saw the interview.", Amaya said smiling.

"I certainly did. You did a great job.", Aiden.

"Just keep my vacation ready. I am flying France when I finish the job.", Amaya.
