Finn watched as Ray began to climb into Luke's old X-Wing. "Wait!" He called. She began to climb back down, and the moment her feet touched the ground, he wrapped her in a hug. They didn't stop hugging for another two minutes. Then Poe came and hugged Rey as well, although not for as long. Rey turned to the two men and handed Finn a comm device.

"Contact me if you ever need me. I promise to try and come back again, even if it isn't an emergency. But I need a break. I need to find myself." She said. She turned back toward the X-Wing, which Ben Solo was already sitting in. Finn hated that man, he would never be able to forgive him for what he did to the people he loved. But he did have to admit that he had changed and that he loved and cared for Rey. Though he would never understand their relationship.

As he watched Rey fly off, he turned to leave and saw Rose. She walked up to him and took his hand.

"I have just lost my best friend Rose. I don't know how to feel about it." Finn walked hand in hand with Rose. They walked into the main building, followed by Poe. Though they had just lost their most valuable fighter, they planned to finish this war by destroying the rest of the First Order ships all over the galaxies. Finn couldn't lose sight of what was most important.
