The saga begins with a ship landing on the peaceful world of Alderaan. The planet looks the same from space as it did in A New Hope, although the planets surface looks more like Naboo than the Alderaan we see at the end of Revenge of the Sith and in the Kenobi show.

The ship lands in the hangar and out steps two Jedi in hooded cloaks. They're greeted by an Alderaan representative.

"Welcome to Alderaan, Master Jedi. May I ask what brings you both here?" the Representative asked.

The Jedi removed their hoods, revealing them to be the two in the picture above. Although instead of wearing Jedi robes like in the actual prequels, they're dressed more like Luke Skywalker was in Return of the Jedi.

"My name is Qui-Gon Jinn. This is my friend - Obi-Wan Kenobi. We'd like to speak to your world's leaders." Qui-Gon said.

The Representative raised an eyebrow.

"May I ask why? It's very odd that we'd receive a visit from the Jedi Order. After all, the galaxy is at peace now." said the Representative.

"We're sure it is. But we'd still like to speak to the leaders of your world; we're worried something may be wrong." Qui-Gon answered.

"If you insist. Right this way." the Representative said.

They walked through a beautiful city, full of people enjoying their peaceful lives, but something was a bit off.

"Quite a city you have here." said Obi-Wan as he admired the architecture of the buildings they passed.

"Oh, yes. Theed is our planet's capital and the home of our king and queen." the Representative explained, "We're a very peaceful society and like to stay out of conflict. So I truly hope... there will be none while you two are here."

Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan could tell there was something off about the Representative.

They arrived at the royal palace and entered. The Representative then brought them to a meeting room.

"Someone should be here soon to talk to you both, Master Jedi." the Representative said before leaving the room and closing the door behind him.

"I have a bad feeling about this, Master Qui-Gon." said Obi-Wan worriedly.

"As do I, Obi-Wan." said Qui-Gon.

We cut back to the Representative as he went down a hallway and met with Nute Gunray of Caito Nemoidia. 

"I did as you asked and lured the Jedi into the room. Now please let my family go!" the Representative pleaded.

"You have done your part well." Gunray said.

It should also be mentioned that Gunray and the rest of his species don't have offensive Asian accents in this version.

Several battle droids then surrounded the Representative and aimed their blasters at him.

"Now your usefulness is at an end." said Gunray.

"No, wait! You promised- !"

But then the Representative was gunned down by the droids before he could even finish his sentence.

We cut back to Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan as they both heard the blaster shots.

"That doesn't sound good." Qui-Gon said worriedly.

We cut back to Gunray and the battle droids, as we the camera pans over to see a young woman with brown hair peaking from around a corner and watching them. The camera is behind her so we can't see her face.

"Dispose of the body at once." Gunray ordered, "Then deal with the Jedi."

"Yes, Viceroy." said the battle droid commander.

The young woman then made her way down the opposite end of the hallway and entered the room Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan were in from the other entrance. We see that she's a teenager with brown hair and brown eyes, and she wore something a very rebellious person would wear.

"Ah. You must be who we're supposed to meet." said Obi-Wan.

"No time for formal greetings, Master Jedi. My name is Padmé Amidala; I'm here to get you both out of here." the young woman, now revealed to be named Padmé, said.

But then, all other exits to the room closed and locked, while toxic gas began filling the room through the ventilation system.

"What in the?!" Obi-Wan said.

"I knew it. This is all a trap." Qui-Gon said as he and Obi-Wan pulled out their lightsabers.

"I'm so sorry! I should've planned this better!" Padmé said.

"Do not worry, Senator. We've been in situations like this before." Qui-Gon said with a brave smile on his face.

The two Jedi switched on their lightsabers. Qui-Gon's lightsaber is the same one he had in the actual Phantom Menace, while Obi-Wan actually has the lightsaber he had in Revenge of the Sith and a New Hope, not the one he had in Attack of the Clones and the actual Phantom Menace.

They used their blades to slice a hole in the door they came through, then they pushed it open with the Force; but as soon as they left the room, there were a number of battle droids waiting for them outside.

"Open fire!" the leading droid shouted.

"Roger! Roger!" the other droids said.

The battle droids opened fire on the trio, but Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan made short work of them with their lightsabers and the Force. But more droids suddenly started coming their way from down a hall. The two Jedi got in fighting stances with their lightsabers.

"You'd best grab a weapon, Padmé Amidala. This is about to get ugly." said Qui-Gon.

"I didn't bring any weapons with me. I'm just a senator." said Padmé.

Obi-Wan stared at Padmé in complete disbelief.

"You're a SENATOR?" he said.

 The droids continued charging at the trio and were about to open fire, but then an alien creature and a few other aliens like him charged at the battle droids through an intersecting hallway and destroyed them.

"Captain Tarpals!" Padmé exclaimed.

"Senator! You need to get off this planet!" the alien, now revealed to be named Tarpals, said as he ran over to them.

"What?! I can't leave! I have to make sure our people are safe!" Padmé said.

"The Separatists have captured King Organa, Queen Organa, Prince Organa, and the rest of our government officials! It's a good thing the Jedi decided to show up today, because now they can escort you to the hangar. It's up to you to go to Coruscant and warn the senate of Nute Gunray's betrayal! We shall stay here to protect our people!" Tarpals said.

"Your gungan friend is right, Senator Amidala. The sooner we get to Coruscant to inform the Chancellor of what's going on, the sooner we can save Alderaan." Qui-Gon told her.

Padmé contemplated this for a few moments, then nodded.

"Ok. Let's go." she said.

Padmé, Obi-Wan, and Qui-Gon rushed out of the palace and ran through the streets. Civilians saw them running and knew something bad was about to happen, so they ran inside their homes and locked their doors.

And the civilians were right. Suddenly, droid starfighters descended from the clouds and shot at the running trio. But they were able to avoid enemy fire and make it to the hanger area.

"Our ship's over there!" Obi-Wan said as he pointed to the ship he and Qui-Gon had arrived in.

"Obi-Wan, our ship may be fast, but I doubt it'll be fast enough to escape the droid starfighters that will be chasing us. You saw how fast they descended from the clouds and how many there were." said Qui-Gon.

"We can take my ship. It's way faster." Padmé said.

They headed down a hallway and entered a large hanger where Padmé personal ship was. It's the same silver ship from the actual Phantom Menace.

They entered the ship and took off. As they flew away, we see a hooded figure standing in the palace and looking out a window, watching the ship leave.

The ship left the planet and were about to jump to hyperspace, but then several droid fighters flew after them and opened fire at their ship.

"I can't shake them!" Obi-Wan said as he piloted the ship.

"Help me use the turrets, Master Jedi." Padmé said to Qui-Gon.

Padmé and Qui-Gon manned the ships turrets and we see a quick but fun space battle where Obi-Wan piloted the ship and evaded enemy blaster fire, while Qui-Gon and Padmé blew the enemy fighters to bits. Despite this, Padmé's ship still took some damage from the enemy blaster fire. 

After the space battle was over, they jumped to lightspeed.

"We made it." Obi-Wan said in relief as he piloted the ship.

"Yes. But it seemed easy. Almost too easy. Those enemy fighters seemed far too easy to destroy." Qui-Gon said.

Back on Alderann, we see the hooded man turn away from the window. Nute Gunray entered the room then.

"Sir! The Jedi and senator have escaped! Should I send another squadron of fighters to try and find them?" Gunray asked.

"No. Let them leave." he said.

"But, sir!" Gunray said before the hooded man began Force choking him.

"Do not anger me, Gunray." the hooded man growled before releasing Gunray and the Viceroy dropped to the floor.

We see the hooded man's face and we see that he has red skin, yellow eyes, black tattoos, and spikes on his head.

Gunray scurried away and left the room, while the hooded man pulled out a hologram communication device and we see another hooded figure on it as a hologram.

"They have left the planet, my master. But the senator interfered with our plans and escaped with them." the hooded man said to the hologram.

"You fool. Senator Amidala was supposed to be disposed of days ago!" the man in the hologram said in an accent that sounded similar to a certain hooded character from the original trilogy.

"She has been very successful at evading capture. But don't worry. They chose to escape in her ship, which I placed a tracker on, just like I did with all ships that would be fast enough to escape our fighters. I also made sure the droid fighters sent after them damaged their ship. They will need to stop on a planet for repairs, which should be before they can reach Coruscant. I will find whichever plant they're on and kill the senator." said the hooded man.

The hooded man in the hologram casted an evil grin.

"Goooood. Soon... war will begin." he said.

Thx for reading. Also, as to why the gungan character Tarpals is more prominent in this, that's because I actually thought he was kinda cool. He's gonna be playing a much bigger role in my version of the prequels. Also, imagine Darth Maul talking in Sam Witwer's voice instead of the voice in the actual Phantom Menace.

Anyways, next up is where Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Padmé have to stop on Tatooine, where they meet a certain character who's gonna be very different then the version of himself from the actual prequels.
