Author's Note: In this chapter the 501st and the 212th make a stop at Mandalore to meet with the Blood Chosen.

Warnings: Fives being a mischievous shit, Rex ratting Nova, Jester watching his sons tease the shit out of each other, and Satine appears.

Nova watched as the combined might of the 212th and 501st train, Rex was still glaring holes at her after receiving a prostate exam at the hands of Kix. Helix currently sat on her right as Kix her left after the meeting with the Jedi council they felt it best to extend a branch to the Mandalorian Knights, with Nova being it's head they were slowly forming a tight nit strike force of Mandalorian Gray Jedi. Revana Ordo being the newest addition to the group.

Kix was currently asking her something snapping her out of her musings "What was that Kix?"

"I asked why you lied about Rex?" Kix asked

"Lie? No, mischief yes," she replied.

Kix looked thoughtful for a moment before it dawned on him "Whelp, I'll make sure he never repeats that mistake again," Kix said, "You need to be checked out by Medics."

"Do you know anything about my biology other than I appear human? Or the fact I have no heart beat?" she asked, "Tal'graanola are to be protected from those who wish to exploit their unique abilities, we have our own Medics rest assured your mother will put me through some form of Medical torture if she can pry herself from your buir Jango long enough."

Kix seemed satisfied with that answer and dropped the subject "That means our mother will be assigned to the 501st when the rest of Domino are trained?" Helix asked looking hopeful.

Nova nodded "Yes, and with how much the 501st and 212th work together you will be seeing your mother more than the rest of your brothers." she remarked.

The scent of Fives's blood caught her attention as he strolled over to them his amber eyes alight with mischief as he moved. Nova could image the flex of those muscles hiden behind the tight material of his black bodysuit and the plastoid covering it ka'ra help her for this trooper was dripping with claim him!

Fives stopped right in front of her "I see Rex has been tossing your shebs across the mats," she remarked

"Can't imagine why?" Kix said dryly

"Well, he was the one walking funny," she replied

"Before or after Kix got his gloves in him?" Fives said with a cheeky grin.

Nova laughed at that as did Helix as she stood.

The top of Nova's head reached up to the bridge of his nose, her slinder and fit body hidden behind the material of her robes and armor plate. Her hair was dyed with red and gold to go along with her black hair. It matched her armor perfectly. Her eyes seemed brighter than he had last seen them upon meeting her again on Rishi "Walk with me?" Nova asked.

Fives nodded his head "As you wish,"

Fives followed close to Nova "We will be arriving tomorrow at Mandalore," she said

"Most of the Vode are excited, we only heard stories about it," he replied.

Nova nodded pausing her steps by a vewport the lights of the stars moving past them gave her a angel like glow about her "I know what I am to you," he said.

Her gray eyes moved to him "Oh?" she asked

"I am your mate," he said lowly, "I gave you the color in your sight, the light that General Kenobi all but said died out."

Nova looked over at him a soft expression on her face "It was the scent of your blood that alerted me to your presence," she spoke, "For the longest time I thought I would never find my mate in time, then in my darkest hour your scent called to me, then I saw you."

Without thinking or a care Fives reached out and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. He noticed the slight pink hue appear on her cheeks as he leaned in, his lips brushing softly against hers. He rested his forehead against hers "FIVES!" a voice snapped.

Fives bit back a growl, Nova on the other hand hissed at the one who disturbed them. Fives turned to see Rex frozen midstep looking at Nova.

Captain Rex was more along Captain cockblock at this time, she bared her fangs and hissed at Rex as he looked at her wide-eyed and pale. She felt Obi-wan and Anakin's force signatures arive just in time too. The Jedi Master and Knight wasting no time in getting Rex away from them.

She was still glaring at Rex's retreating back as she heard Obi-Wan explain what was going on between her and Fives. She didn't stop hissing until Fives's gloved had brushed against her cheek softly "Easy sweetheart, no need to rip my captain apart for being a cockblock." he whispered softly.

Nova looked at him, for the exception of the gote on his face, his expression held amusement, and his eyes longing. Nova flet her eyes slip shut as Fives softly kissed her, experimenting as he cupped the back of her head in his hands. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders pressing closer to her as he pulled back. She shivered at the loss of his lips.

Jango stood with Kaede at the space port near the original capital of Mandalore. That prissy Dutchess Satine disowned the original capital of Keldabe for her fancy new one, sadly for her she was about to lose that thrown. His beloved wife held their daughter his little Snow Drop was growing which was a good thing, as soon as he spotted the Ebon Hawk he grinned, there was no doubt in his mind that the Mando'ade would follow Nova.

The Hawk was escorted by two LAATs with nose paintings of barely clad women. Jango sighed couldn't keep them from doing that. As soon as the Ebon Hawk touched down Jango felt Nova, where there was once darkness there was light. Jango knew Nova had suffered throughout her existence as a Blood Chosen, but to feel that gone from her was currently, a welcomed change.

Kaede bowed her head placing her fist over her heart "Alor, we received word that Dutchess Satine will be visiting today,"

"Thank you, Kaede for informing me," Nova replied as he looks at her, "You found your mate,"

"I did," she said, "He is one of your ade, he and his squad were on Rishi when it was attacked."

"How many sons did we lose?" Kaede asked.

Nova looked at his wife her head bowed "A few, but a few also became Tal'graanola."

Jango's mouth dropped some of his ade? Jango saw the armor and groaned Ani'ika and Obi-wan arrived and there was a third Jedi "Ani'ika who's the ad'ika?" Jango asked.

She was of the Togruta species she looked right at him unamused "My name is Ashoka Tano, I am Master Skywalker's Padawan," she said in a matter-of-fact tone.

Jango looked at Anakin "Who thought it was a good idea for you to teach?"

Nova snorted as did several of the 501st and 212th who were before them "Master Yoda apparently," Obi-wan remarked.

Jango shook his head "Daft old troll,"

Jango watched as Kote looked at the on coming ship "It appears that the Dutchess and her Daughter have arrived." Kaede said before she turned to their ade, "Hello my ade,"

Commander Cody had an eye for detail as the Dutchess stepped out of her transport with a Mandalorian Gray Jedi clad in armor at her side, she removed her helmet and his heart was thrown to the winds, she was beautiful. Her blue-eyes scanned the area before walking forward "Masters," the girl greeted Nova and Kaede

"Cat'tra, how was your trip?" Kaede asked

"Death Watch is starting their oisk again." came the reply.

Night sky was a beautiful name for her as Nova moved to greet the Dutchess. Cody couldn't help, but notice the longing look in his general's eyes as he gazed upon her.

They were taken to their rooms which were more comfortable than he thought it would be. More comfortable than his quarters on the Negotiator. A soft knock sounded at his door calling his attention to it, he walked over and palmed the pad to open the door.

Ca'tra stood in the door way "Good evening Commander, I was told to inform you that dinner will be served in the great hall shortly." she said with a polite bow of her head

"I will be there shortly," he said.

She let out a shy smile before leaving him to go about his business, who was she?

"The council members will not like the fact that the Republic is here," Satine said as Kaede gave her a check-up.

Nova just rolled her eyes "Satine, as much as the council doesn't like it these men are Mandalorian and don't give me that 'They weren't born Mandalore' osik, because every planet in this sector is Mandalorian hints the name of the sector," Nova replied evenly, "You and your council are killing our culture, Jester was wise to make adjustments to Canderous's Codex, the Hatt' Mando'ade have their codes that bring cash flow to the people, Mandalore is a culture not a people or planet and you and your ilk are killing it,"

Nova couldn't remember how many times she and Satine went through this dance, though the reports as of late were gut wrenching to say the least. Someone on Satine's council were sterilizing warriors in the fighting corps and this would not do at all "I understand your concerns, Nova I truly do..."

"Apparently you do not," Kaede said before Nova yelped.

Nova gave her former student a questioning look "That was payback for what you had done to Rex." Kaede remarked giving her the same look Kix had given Rex.

Alas like mother like son in Kix's case. Nova noticed the blue and silver silk of her robes "I see Jango has been spoiling you again," she remarked, "What did he do now?"

"Shot a blaster under Snow's feet, she was fine until I came around the corner then she started screaming her little lungs out." Kaede said before narrowing her eyes at her again, "And don't change the subject, Rex and Cody also informed me that you went to Rishi to die,"

Even Satine was shocked at this revaluation "All the darkness I had consumed was consuming me, I could not and would not be able to rule in such a state of mind." Nova replied, "But Fives..."

"And thank the ka'ra for Fives, though that little troublemaker had always tried to gain your attention as an ade on Kamino with his little stunts with Echo and Revan." Kaede said, "Your clear to change into thy robes that thy father dreaded."

Everyone has gathered in the great hall for dinner General Skywalker was speaking to a woman about something causing her to laugh. Fives was curious as to who the woman was when Nova entered the room everyone noticed. General Kenobi had a slight blush on his cheeks at Nova's clothes, black, red, and gold. The gold painted beskar plates accented her robes perfectly, the crown upon her head held several red crystals, the one below her naval and the one around her neck sparkles in the light, she takes her seat at the head of the table everyone standing and silent...well until Captian Rex shows up running late and runs codpiece first into the corner of the table. Nova arches a single brow "There's a corner there Captain," amusement etched in her voice

"At least he didn't fall flat on his face," Fives remarked.

His mother snorted and held a hand up over her lips as his buir, Jango narrowed his eyes at him. Fives just shrugged and played innocent "Oh, yeah, Myles sent me a file of you falling foot over bucket when you saw Kaede again," General Skywalker remarked with a smirk.

Rex snickerd at this "It made its way around the vode also," Commander Cody added with a cheeky grin.

Their buir grumbled about how he was going to kick Myles's shebs next time he saw him as everyone sat down to enjoy their meal...
