Nova woke up to Fives kissing her shoulder, leaving playful nips in his wake. Turning to face her mate Nova smiled softly "What has gotten into you this morning my love?" she asked bringing her fingers up to stroke his goatee-covered chin.

Fives smirked, "Mesh'la, do I need a reason to wake my girl up with kisses?"

Nova giggled "No, no you don't my love,"

Fives leaned in and kissed Nova soundly his hands carding through her hair as she moaned against his mouth. Fives broke the kiss and got out of bed "Join me in the fresher?" he asked with a smirk.

Nova was out of bed and following him soon after.

Jango watched as Fives and Nova walked into the mess hall, meaning Nova must have just fed on Fives's high libido. Which was one thing the Kaminoans worried about. Nova and Kadae had made it a point that the vod'e needed better-tasting food than the crap that was served in the mess, and that Nova would have heads if they didn't implement flavor to their food. Jango watched as Fives and Nova shared soft looks as they ate together. Many of the Vod'e watched them in shock at how openly they displayed their affection. 99 came walking in with Revan, Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, and Crosshair in tow. the four ad'e looking like they finally got a decent night's sleep for once and didn't have to worry about passing out over their food, which Jango was sure happened often.

Kadae from what Jango understood would be assigned to Commander Fox and the Corasaunt guard. Something that the Chancellor fought the Jedi on was placing a Jedi in the Guard. From what Jango had heard from Thorn was the fact that Yoda threatened to involve Nova directly. The Chancellor put up a little bit more of a fight but after Tarkin's report to the Chancellor, the wrinkly old ball sac had finally allowed someone into the guard to manage them and lead them on missions. Jango had been too wrapped up in his thoughts to notice that Kadae had sat down next to him "Buir?" Boba asked.

Jango blinked and looked at Boba who was pointing to his mother, turning his head he regarded her "Yes, dear?"

"Are you alright, and don't you lie to me Jango Fett," Kadae said

"I'm just thinking is all," he said

"About what?" Kadae asked

"Your appointment to keep Fox out of trouble, according to Kote and Thorn; Fox has a tendency of overworking," he replied

"Well, he won't be once I get there," Kadae said.

Lama Su came in as Fives kissed Nova taking their trays to be cleaned. Lama Su's eyes narrowed at Fives's back, just as Nova looked to see it as well. Jango suppressed a laugh when Nova stood up and stood between Lama Su's eyes and Fives's back "Want to be next on the Menu Prime Minister?" she hissed lowly.

Lama Su for his credit glared at Nova now "It is unwise Prime Minister to get between a Tal'gaanla and their mate," Jango warned with a flash of fangs, "Nova, is already irritated with you enough, and I don't think my ad'e would shed a tear if Nova ripped your throat out here and now,"

Shaak Ti who sat on the other side of the room arched a brow marking "The Master Jedi will stop her," Lama Su said

"I am Togruta and even we know a bigger predator when we see one, Tal'gaanla protected my people long ago and shares a bond with them, though I condone such violence, but it is within her nature. Just as it is in my nature to claim a mate as a predator, like Tal'gaanla; we Togruta are very protective of our mates and will kill over them." Shaak Ti said softly.

Jango had eyes he may have been reborn, but he was reborn with all of his senses turned up and he knew when one of his ad'e were bucket over boots in love with someone. Jango was looking right at Colt who was looking at Shaak Ti dreamy-eyed. Jango shook his head and chuckled as Colt looked his way. Jango gave him a knowing look that caused Colt to flush before turning away. Lama Su just slinked out of the mess knowing it was a fight he wasn't going to win, not by a long shot.

Kaeda had finished her rounds and had begun packing her things when Jango entered the room "Are you going to be fine on Courasant?" he asked

"I will my love, you don't need to worry about it," Kaeda said touching her husband's face.

She and Jango had faced many trials over the years and millions of ad'e were a big trial. Kaeda knew when one of them Marched away and though she wept for them, she knew they were safe in the Mand'a, but on the odd occasion, she was happy when her sons were reborn as Tal'gaanla. Nova was being called away to Christophsis with the 501st and the 212th, meaning Jango was going with her "Keep our Alor out of trouble," she said

"If anything she is going to keep me out of trouble and most likely Fives," Jango replied

"Buire?" a voice sounded at the door.

Jango about jumped out of his armor as he turned to see Crosshair standing in the doorway looking upset "Do you have to go?" Crosshair asked.

Kaeda knew very well the possible outcome of what her leaving would bring "Oh, Cross'ika, my sweet boy," Kaeda said using the force to lift him up and into her arms, "It won't be forever when you're grown you and your brothers can come to visit, but I will come often to pick up more of your brothers, so they can see the big scary galaxy."

Kaeda put a kiss on Cross's cheek causing him to get bashful and flush "Okay, Ka'buir," he said

"How about you and I go to your brothers and I put you all to bed," Kaeda asked.

Cross nodded as Jango followed them out of the room. Taking Crosshair back to the room that he shared with his brothers was a short one. Nala Se was waiting for her as well "I will keep them out of the labs as much as I can," Nala Se said, "However they will be going into their growth pods in the next few rotations."

"Thank you," Kaeda said before walking into the room.

The boys were happy to see Crosshair but were upset that she was leaving them. The four all piled up around her causing her to sigh softly. They were as stubborn as their father, but she loved them all the same. Kissing them on the top of the head as they dozed she moved "Alright, my ad'e time to get you to bed," she said.

Once the boys were tucked in and fully asleep Kaede walked to the door, turning off the light and leaving the room.

Nova felt the dark side swell around her, she could feel it in the ground beneath her feet, she could smell it in the air. The Dark side had managed to ensnare one of the vod'e but who? Nova knew it couldn't be Fives, he shined so brightly in the force. Nova looked at Hevy, Cutup, and Droid Bait who nodded in agreement "It would appear someone is pushing their luck," Jango said

"And when I find out who they are going to regret pushing their luck with me," Nova replied.

The five Tal'gaanla arrived at the command tent "Obi-Wan, Anakin we may have a problem," she said

"Did you sense something?" Anakin asked

"We did," Nova said, "One of the vod'e is inflicted with a sith spell sadly this spell is so well planned we can't get a pin on who,"

"That is worrisome," Obi-Wan remarked

"Find out who it is, see what you can do for them," Anakin said

"Of course vod'ika they are your nephews after all," Jango teased

"Stop being an ass to me or I'll call buire," Anakin said with a smirk.

Jango laughed "As if they could keep me from teasing you, and you also have an older sister,"

"Ah, does that mean you're the middle brat and Anakin is the baby?" Nova asked teasing Jango.

Jango's head snapped in her direction "You stay out of this,"

"Keep picking on Anakin and I'll call Arla," Nova said turning to leave, "Now get your damn bucket on we got hunting to do,"

Kaeda had walked into the guard office only to find that, unlike the other battalions of her sons, only the command were allowed to customize their armor, whereas the others had a set uniform. She walked over to the reception desk noting Stone sitting at it "If there is something that you need fill out a report," Stone said

"As your mother Stone Fett, I would surely hope not," Kaeda said.

Stone's head snapped up before he jumped out of his seat "BUIR!!!!!!!!" he exclaimed happily.

Kaeda chuckled as Stone came fly around the desk and plucked her up off the ground and into a hug "Take that bucket off in here I wanna see my son's faces at all times,"

Stone set her down and removed his helmet as Thorn appeared heading to what she assumed to be Fox's office with a cup of caff in his hands and two stems "Thorn, who are those for?" she asked.

Stone snickered as Thorn stopped and turned slowly "MOM!" he said as he set everything he was carrying down, "YOUR HERE!"

Various ad'e began popping up around the room as Thorn swept her up into a hug "Helmets off inside here boys," she said

"But, Mom, Fox is the one who made the rule," Thorn said.

Kaeda could all but see the pout Thorn was wearing beneath his bucket "Well, as your General I am changing it," she said, "And your deflecting the question who are the caf and stims for?"

Thorn ducked his head "Fox,"

"How many cups is this?" she asked

"His 16th cup," Thorn said

"FOX FETT YOU GET YOUR SHEBS OUT OF THAT OFFICE RIGHT NOW BEFORE I DRAG YOU OUT!" Kaeda snapped.

Fox came out of his office quickly "Mom, your here...a day early." Fox said

"Helmet off mom's orders," Thorn said.

Fox grunted and removed his helmet and Kaede was not impressed with what she saw "Fox come here please," she said.

Fox all but shuffled over in front of her looking like a scalded child, which by all rights he was regardless of the rapid aging "When is the last time you slept and don't lie to me,"

"Yesterday for about an hour," Fox said.

Kaeda sighed "Is my office set up?" she asked

"Yes, Mom," Fox said

"Good, because you are taking your shebs to bed, am I clear?" she asked

"But-"

"No, butts Fox or I will tranq you here and now," she said.

Fox's shoulders slumped "Yes, Mom,"

"I want all of Fox's calls and any paperwork that he has sent to my office he is not allowed out of his bunk for the next rotation, I want all rotation lists on my desk first thing in the morning, I will be rotating you, boys, out and around over the next few rotations, meaning what schedules you do have will keep until the new schedules are finished." she fired off

"Does that include calls from the Chancellor?" Thorn asked

"Yes, if he has a problem he can air it with me, if not he can take a flying leap into oncoming traffic for all I care, he is not overworking you boys and I will be on the comlink with Corurasant police giving them a piece of my mind as well," she said, "Fox, also you will hand over your comlink right now and any datapads you may have to Thorn once in your room."

"Yes, Mom," Fox said with a groan

"And check that attitude of yours as well young man," she tacked on.

Chancellor Palpatine paused in his work at the disturbance in the force, he tried to discover the source of it, however, it was time for his daily session with Commander Fox when he called for Fox a woman's voice came on "This is Kaede Fett, sorry Fox is currently unavailable for the next rotation Chancellor, he was about to keel over when I got in,"

So this was the self-proclaimed mother of the clones? Something told him she was going to be a problem "Is the Commander alright?"

"Fox, has been overworked and is currently resting, I don't know about you Chancellor but, he has quite the mountain of work as well as various other duties to attend to, as his mother and as a doctor he has been ordered to bed for the next rotation," came the reply

"Not unreasonable for a mother to fret over one of her many children," he remarked

"Yes, well they didn't get the stubborn streak from me, that is all on their father." came the reply, "If you need anything Chancellor my comlink is available,"

"Thank you, my dear, I look forward to meeting you in person when the Commander is fully rested," he said as he ended the call.

That damn woman was going to ruin his plans for the guard...no matter Anakin was close to becoming his apprentice, all he needed was a little more time before Palpatine took his rightful place as ruler of the galaxy...
