A day or two had passed since the events of saving Benjamin, and him saving Roxy as well. Roxy was in the pit fixing something on the ship, a fuse box had pretty much exploded, leaving them without lights. 

Roxy used her helmet lights, and Benny held a flashlight from above, she took off the helmet, "Hey, come down here, I need to see better, if I do this wrong we're kriffed." she stated. He obliged, and hopped into the hole, it was a bit tight just the two of them, but they managed. He pointed the light at the box Roxy was working on. 

She had a was tightening some screws, when some electricity jolted through the box, shocking Roxy, "Kriff!" She yelled, feeling the jolt go through her whole body, the ship was running 10,000 volts through it. "Are you okay?" Benny asked, "Yup, probably lost a few brain cells though." replied Roxy, witfully. She finished tightening the screws and put in new fuses, the lights were back on. 

"Success!" She shouted, putting the tools back in the box and turning to see Benjamin right in her face, man this pit really was small. "Hi" she breathed out, Benny smiled, and pecked her lips with his own, "Let's get back on course, and get home, shall we?" Roxy asked, blushing heavily now. Usually it was Roxy and her dirty remarks making Benny blush, not Benny's cute gestures making her blush!

She climbed from the hole first, and she helped Benny out, pulling him up with one hand. They sat in the cockpit together, sharing a meal of canned meats. "Tomorrow we should be home!" Roxy stated with a smile, "Do you think your brother or anyone will suspect anything? About us, I mean?" asked Benjamin, a little nervous. "Nah, maybe Ahsoka, but she's not an actual Jedi anymore and she was gone and away from the force for so long that she can't sense as much, at least I think that's how it works." Roxy chuckled. 

Benjamin nodded, he seemed to be sweating, "Hey, they'll accept you and let you join, they haven't turned anyone down yet, the only person you maybe have to worry about, is Kanan, he doesn't like me much, so he probably won't trust you much at first either, but it'll be okay." Roxy told him, reassuringly.

She grabbed his hand, and gave it a squeeze.

"I'll trust you on that" he laughed, Roxy smiled and turned to look out at the stars. 

*Time skip*

Finally they had entered the Atmosphere of Atollon, Roxy woke Benjamin with a light shake, he bolted up, giving himself a head rush, Roxy just laughed, and finished putting on her armor. Benjamin took a deep breath as they finally landed, his hands were shaking, Roxy patted his arm, and gave him a loom telling him everything would be alright. 

The door opened, and Roxy walked out, seeing many busy Rebels, and finally she spotted Rex, she ran over to him, surprising him with a hug, "Hey, vod'ika, you shoulda commed and told me you were coming home." He said, hugging her back tightly, looking up and seeing a stranger, standing awkwardly. "This must be your friend, I thought he was going back to his job?" He asked, "I decided to come here, seemed like a better idea." stated Benjamin, "I'm Benjamin Rivvens." he held out his hand, Rex shook it with a tight grip, and he didn't flinch. 

"So, how did you two meet?" Rex asked, as they sat down in the mess hall with Ahsoka, and the rest of the Rebels squad. Roxy had introduced him to everyone. They exchanged a look, "Well, that's kind of a long story." said Roxy, "I've got time." Rex stated with a smile, "Ok, so I went to tatooine and Benny here was an..assassin who was after me, we ended up fighting in an alley, uh I saved his ass after some time, I was kidnapped by a different guy who I thought was my friend, Benny saved me, killed Daviin, then we were headed to Coruscant to get him back to his work, then I saved him from being tortured and he saved me from falling to my death." Roxy explained.

They all sat wide-eyed and Rex just laughed, "Only you could convert an Imperial assassin to being a Rebel." he said, Kanan looked displeased, "Can I talk to you for a moment?" He asked, taking her into the hall for privacy. "What's up?" 

"You brought an Imperial Assassin here!? Are you crazy!?" He asked, "yes." Roxy said with an annoyed look on her face. 

"Look Kanan, he's done with that, I assure you. I trust him with my life, and more." She said with assurance.

He still wasn't pleased, but he nodded, he would play along for now. "Fine. He can stay." he said, "Uh, that's not up to you, and he would stay even if you didn't like it." Roxy sassed, "That's not how it works, you have to take orders you know." 

"I don't take orders anymore, that ended a long time ago, you're not even a Jedi, so that doesn't make you a General or anymore important than the rest of us." Roxy replied with a snarl. She and Kanan never got along, Roxy was a hot-head who was done with everything, and Kanan was sometimes a goody-two-shoes who wanted things done his way. He rolled his eyes, and roxy walked away, and took her seat next to Benny. 

After they had all gotten acquainted with Benjamin, Roxy showed him to his quarters, right next to hers. "So, that dude with the ponytail hates me, huh?" He asked, "A little yeah," Roxy laughed, "It'll be okay though, Rex and Ahsoka like you and that's all that matters." 

"What, you don't like me?" Benjamin mocked hurt, Roxy laughed, "No, I like you too" she laughed and kissed his cheek. 

"Alright, I'm gonna unload my ship, you go ahead and set up your quarters." Roxy said as she walked away, slapping his butt lightly, Benjamin blushed and watched her walk away with a smile on his face. "How did I get so lucky?" he asked himself. As Roxy was unloading supplies, Kanan approached Benny.

"So, an Imperial assassin, huh?" Benny turned around, "Uh, yeah, but Roxy helped me to leave that behind,I'm not some spy." he stated, Kanan wasn't convinced, "If you try to pull anything, I swear you and that damn Roxy are out of here, I don't need anymore trouble. She doesn't listen to orders and I suppose you'll end up the same. Rex never should have let Roxy go away like that, I knew she would do something stupid she's probably a spy too-"

"Enough!" Benny yelled, getting fed up with Kana's false accusations. "I'm sure you, along with everyone else around here, and been through a lot of shit,but you have no right to judge me, or Roxy like that. She's the most kind-hearted and strong person I've ever met, and I won't let you drag her name like that, me I don't care, think what you want, you're wrong! Me and Roxy have been through a lot, together and apart, and I don't need this shit from you, so walk away before you get yourself hurt." Benjamin stated with such authority it would make Roxy blush.

Kanan was at a loss for words, and just walked away, Benny sighed and sat down on his bed, it was more comfortable than Roxy's. 

He would like it here, as long as Roxy was with him, it would all be fine. 

*Last time skip*

A couple weeks had passed, and Benjamin was finally going on his first mission without Roxy, they had kept their relationship a secret yet, and it had become stronger and better with time. Roxy was walking him to the ship, and pulled him away somewhere private for just a moment. 

"Are you nervous?" She asked, "Nah, I don't think so, as long as Kanan doesn't try to kill me I should be fine." Benny chuckled, Roxy smiled up at him, she was sad she wouldn't see him for a week, "be safe?" "Ratiin." 

Roxy smiled, he had been using Mando'a a lot more since meeting her, and it warmed her heart further. She locked eyes with him, and kissed him softly, he had to leave in ten minutes. 

He smiled at her and hugged her, "I love you." She whispered, he stiffened and Roxy pulled away, oh no, she had ruined it hadn't she?

Benjamin began tearing up, he hugged her tightly and began full on sobbing. "I love you, too." he replied and kissed her deeply, when they parted Roxy gave him a worried look. "Are you okay?" She asked, "yeah, yeah," he replied wiping his tears away, "It's just...no one's said that to me since my mother died and that was almost three decades ago, it kinda caught me off guard." He replied, hugging her again.

Roxy smiled, "I love you so, so much Roxy." He whispered into her hair, "I love you more." "Not possible." 

They parted again, and Benjamin turned to see Kanan impatiently waiting for him, he dried his tears again, and quickly kissed Roxy and turned to leave, "Come back to me alive, please." Roxy pleaded, "I promise." Benny said and waved goodbye. Roxy sighed. 

They were both so lucky to have found each other, Roxy feared what may have happened if she'd never met him, and he did the same. They were two, screwed up, broken people, who life had kicked around for the longest time, and finally they had something good and pure together. They were soulmates in love, and they wouldn't deny it. This was the happiest Roxy had been in a long time, and Benjamin had never been this happy. They were each others rock, their safe place, their home. They were home.
