(AU Where Ahsoka is the Jedi Knight and Anakin is her new Padawan. Pairings: Rex/Ahsoka Warnings: FLUFF AND SWEARING! *My personal favorite things in a fanfic XD*)

The Battle of Christophsis had settled down for a moment, the droids were planning their tactics, and the Clones and Jedi were doing the same. The Republic had lost a lot of men already, and they were in dire need of reinforcements, they noticed a ship approaching, "General Tano, i think the reinforcements are here!" One of the men shouted. Ahsoka Tano, the youngest General at the age of twenty-five, and of one of the best legions, the 501st, and by her side was her trusty Captain, Rex. 

Ahsoka turned and nodded at the solider, and made her way to the ship that had just landed. The back of the shuttle opened, and out walked a kid, about fourteen or fifteen years of age. He approached Ahsoka, Obi-wan standing beside her. "Um, kid, were you on the wrong shuttle?" Ahsoka asked, "No, I thought Master Obi-wan had told you. I'm Anakin Skywalker. I'm your new Padawan!" He said, Ahsoka looked at her previous Master, Obi-wan Kenobi. 

"You were suppose to tell me? Why didn't you?" She asked, clearly getting mad. "Calm down, the council and I thought it would be a good idea is you had a Padawan to take under your wing." Obi-wan said calmly. "Well I'm not a bird, I don't have wings, so obviously i can't have a Padawan! Plus, we're in the middle of a battle, it's too dangerous for a youngling!" She yelled, Anakin frowned, "I'm a Padawan, not a youngling." 

Ahsoka eyed him, "Alright, y'know what..." She started, she clicked a button on her Comm, "Rex, come in." She said, a voice came through, "This is Rex." "I need you to come and escort my new....Padawan..around the base." She said, it was quiet. "Rex? You there?" She asked, clearly concerned. "S-sorry, Sir. I laughed too hard I forgot to answer. You said you'd never have a padawan!" He replied, Ahsoka rolled her eyes, "Just get your ass here or I'll drag it here myself." She said with a smirk. 

Obi-wan chuckled, "Your friendship with the Captain never ceases to make me laugh. I'll go check on the other men, I'll see you later Anakin." Obi-wan said with a smile and he walked away. Anakin looked to the left and saw a solider with blue on his armor approach him and his new master. The solider removed his helmet and smirked at Ahsoka. "General." He nodded, he then looked at Anakin. "You're the padawan?" He asked, "Yup! My name is Anakin Skywalker." He replied with a smile. "Captain Rex, I'll show you around kid." Rex said and looked at Ahsoka.

"I remember about a week ago Kenobi offering if you wanted to have a padawan, and your exact words were 'I don't need a padawan, I'm a rolling stone, i like to be alone. All I need is my men'." Rex mocked, Ahsoka punched his shoulder and laughed, "Shut up and show him around, don't loose him." She warned. Rex smirked and nudged Anakin to follow him.

"So...if I'm a jedi and your a captain, technically i outrank you, right?" Anakin asked, "In my book, experience outranks everything." Rex replied, "Well I guess i'll need to get some then!" Anakin said. They walked in silence for a while, then Anakin spoke up, "How long have you and Ahsoka been together?" He asked, Rex stopped with wide eyes "What!?" He asked, "Oh! I meant, how long have you been working together?" He asked, Rex sighed, relieved, "Uh, well she's the youngest General, she was promoted to General of the 501st when she was eighteen, she's twenty-four now, so a long time already. It feels like longer then it really is, and even before she was a General, i knew her, so we've been friends for probably eight years?" Rex told him. 

Anakin nodded, "You seem like really good friends." he said with a smile, "We are, we have an unbreakable bond, as we call it. I've saver her life countless times, and she's saved my life countless times." He replied and they continued walking.

*Time skip-After the battle in the barracks*

"You did good today Anakin, and I'll be proud to call you my padawan." Ahsoka said, Anakin beamed and hugged her, "And I'll be proud to call you my master!" He said and then sat beside her. Rex walked out of his room after a shower, in his sweat pants and a skin shirt. "I haven't showered in almost a week, that felt amazing and I'm finally clean!" he announced to them, the other men were playing cards or sleeping. 

"Did you wash behind your ears?" Ahsoka joked, Rex rolled his eyes and sat down on the couch across from his General and new Commander. "I think you need a shower, I can smell you from here, you smell like ass." Rex said sarcastically, "Hey! If I smell like ass, it's only because i was around you all day!" She retorted, "Don't joke about my ass! It's the nicest one in the 501st."Replied Rex with a smirk, "Uh-huh, sure. Everyone knows my ass is the nicest!" She joked, "I won't argue with that.." Rex shrugged and laughed when Ahsoka punched him.

"Well that would imply that you've looked, what'dya gotta say bout that, huh Rexter?" She asked, "I have only checked out a select few people, I'm respectful of all people, unless they don't deserve it." Rex replied, Ahsoka nodded in agreement. "Well I can't argue with you there." She agreed. 

Anakin just sat there watching this odd conversation, then he decided to speak up, "You two flirt a lot, ya know that?" Rex nearly spit out his coffee, and they both looked at him, completely stunned. Anakin laughed, Rex shook his head and smirked at Ahsoka, she then bid everyone a goodnight and headed to her quarters. 

"I'm going to bed too.." Anakin said and went to his room. a while had past and Rex fell asleep on the couch, Ahsoka had noticed he never went to his room, "Rex?" She whispered as she walked into the lounge. She found him sleeping on the couch, "Rex, wake up." She said adn he jumped awake, he looked around and saw it was just Ahsoka, his heart beat slowed and he rubbed his eyes, "What is it?" He asked, "Go to bed, this couch is super uncomfortable." She said quietly and walked with him to their rooms.

"Goodnight Rexter" She said and kissed his cheek, "G'night Love." He replied and they went to their rooms and went to sleep.
