Most Important, They Protec!

-Reetha injured, cared by her bros-
My little twist, so originally Reetha, my oc, works with multiple clone battalions or legion. Here particularly she's on a mission with the 501st
-okay, first request, here we go!!-
"Alright! So I hope you guys are clear on the mission. We only have one shot at this." Anakin took a glance across the team. Ahsoka and Reetha were to lead separate teams, Ahsoka would lead the front attack, while Reetha would bring in forces from the back entrance of the cave. The two padawan's nodded. Anakin dismissed the group.
"Stay alive Reetha. We wouldn't want to celebrate without ya!" Ahsoka punched Reetha's shoulder. "See ya later, aligator." Reetha replied. "Alright, let's so Fives." Fives nodded as he stood beside Reetha, at the ready. "You heard out sis lads. Let's get to work."
Once the respective teams made it to their places, they began their infiltration. "Careful guys, the cave floor is slippery. And, don't turn on your light. Set your helmets to night vision." The men behind her agreed silently, then they made their way into the cave.
"Eh, sure is dark in here." Vaughn called from the side. "Oh, Vaughn, I'm here aren't I. No worries, I'll be your knight in shining armor." Reetha sent a smirk to Vaughn, her reply earning small chuckles from the guys behind her.
Now, it came to a point in the cave where the passage narrowed. Reetha analyzed the situation. "Looks like we gotta improvise. The passage is to narrow. We gotta go in single file."
"Alright, I'll go in first." Fives volunteered. "Uh uh. No. BIG NO. I'm going in first." Reetha retaliated. "Uhm, kid. Fives should really go in first." Sterling spoke up. Tup and Dogma who stood next to the trooper nodded in agreement.
Reetha sighed and placed a hand on her hip. "What? No. Look, I go in first alright. Plus, I'd be able to sense if there is any trouble ahead, way before you guys. I'll be fine."
"Well, tiny one, if it's all the same to you, we can 'sense' trouble just as fine with our range finders and the night vision in our helmets." Reetha perked an eyebrow at Fives' reply.
"No. No, NO! You can't give me that look." Fives folded his arms and stood his ground, his head looking slightly over your head. "Do what?" Reetha asked innocently. "THAT look. The one where you convince me to do your plan."
"Eh, good luck talking her out of it brother. If we knew any better, she's as stubborn as Hardcase." Reetha nodded to Tup's remark. "That is a very true statement." Then she turned her head to Fives, who apparently still disapproved of Reetha's plan to enter the passage, first. She shook her head and placed her hand on Fives shoulder.
"Fives, I promise you, I'll be fine. At the first notice of danger, I'll be sure to alert the rest of you." Fives let out a heavy sigh and nodded to her. Reetha smiled, and lead the way.
----
"Okay, how deep are we in the cave?"
"Were almost at the rendezvous." Vaughn informed the group. "Alright, we should be able to comm the others." Reetha crouched down, the others following suit.
"Master, Ahsoka, come in. My team and I are close to the rendezvous."
The comm sizzled and crackled for a while. The connection was breaking.
"Master?" Reetha called again.
After several seconds of silence, Anakin's voice came through the comms. But something was off. He sounded all panicked. She exchanged worried looks with Fives, who was right behind her.
"Ree- get out- ... there... Get..."
Reetha furrowed her brows. Something was wrong, but what. Without hesitating, she squeezed herself through the passage going deeper into the cave, ignoring Fives and the others calls from behind her.
She walked in deeper until the comms cleared. "Reetha, get out of there. I repeat get out of the cave. There's a bomb in here. Get-"
The moment the young jedi heard the word bomb, she immediately turned tail and ran, shouting along the way. "GET OUT OF HERE. WERE WALKING INTO AN AMBUSH!" She ran until she bumped into Fives.
"GET OUT! BOMB! AMBUSH! OUT NOW!" She continued to command, pushing Fives and the others when she reached them.
Together, the six of them ran towards the exit. The boys had turned their lights on, making it easier to see. However, they were still in the narrow passage.
A rumble roared through the cave. "We got to get out of here now!" The group continued to push through. "We can't go through. The passage is collapsing." Dogma shouted from the front.
"AH krif!" Reetha cursed. An unpleasant feeling crept on Reetha's neck. The force told her that the bomb was about to explode. But, by then she had only one motive. "Well, it was good to meet yall!" She shouted from behind. "Wait what are you-" before Fives could complete his sentence, Reetha collected the force beneath her finger tips and slammed her hands on either side of the passage, sending a powerful shock wave through the walls of the passage. The shock wave cleared the passage and widened it, allowing the clones to quickly run out.
A second, more louder rumble rang in the cave, and it shook more violently. At the corner of her eyes, she noticed fire roaring toward herself and the clones. The exit was quite a distance, she knew the clones would not make it just by running, so Reetha held her ground and extended one hand towards the fire, the other towards the clones.
She drew in a breath and unleashed the force.
She pushed the clones forward before any of them realized what she was up to. The other hand, holding back the fire from the explosion just meters away from them. She quickly collected force and pushed the clones further towards the exit, just enough for them to see day light. The other hand still keeping the fire at bay. Although the heat burned her tender skin, she vowed to get the clones out. Once their force signatures were a safe distance away from her she turned her full attention to the fire, holding the entire force of the explosion in the cave. Reetha closed her eyes, drawing a final breath before the explosion engulfed the cave and her inside it.
----
"NO! REETHA!" Fives got up on his heels as soon as the explosion ended. He tried to go back in, but the cave had already collapsed in on itself. "Fives, come in!" Anakin called through the comms. Fives lifted his helmet of his head and dropped it to the ground. The others walked towards the cave with a bewildered look on their faces. "General, we have a huge problem."
----
"Ugh... " Reetha squeezed her eyes shut as pain coursed through her body. She tilted her head slowly to the side, her eyes slowly adjusting to the light in the room.
At the end of her bed, she noticed several sad troopers. "Guys..." she called out weakly. Almost immediately, the troopers turned their heads to the girl in the room.
"Reetha!" They cried out, walking closer to her. Reetha could feel the immense calmness that washed over her brothers. "Reetha, you di'kut. Don't scare us like that!" Fives scolded Reetha quietly.
She managed a look at Fives that said 'oh, please', but immediately let out a small huff of breath. "I told you guys, I could sense danger way before you.." She chuckled as she looked to the troopers around her. From their looks, she could see that none of them were harmed. To this she smiled. "I'm glad you guys are alright."
"Reetha, we should be saying that to you." Tup walked up next to her. "General Skywalker and Captain Rex were relentless to find you in that rubble."
"Yeah, what where you thinking! Simply risking your life like that. Reetha, we could have lost you." Dogma spoke ever so softly. "I-I'm sorry guys. I just wanted all of you safe."
"Next time, please force push yourself out of an exploding cave with us as well. You nearly gave us a heart attack." Sterling spoke in a shaky voice.
The room fell into silence for a while. Reetha could feel their worry. "Guys, I'm so sorry to make you worry. I, I just wanted you safe." She whispered the last part. Tears at the side of her eyes. Vaughn noticed this, and he took one of Reetha's smaller hands in his own. "Vod, we are grateful for that. But don't ever compromise your safety over ours. Next time, we get out together, okay."
Reetha looked at Vaughn, before turning her head to the others. "I'm sorry guys. But, next time, I will make sure to escape with all of you." She said with a smile. A smile that melted her brother's hearts. The guys came up to the head of the bed to hug Reetha. "We love you too much to let you go, kid. Remember that." Reetha snuggled into the hug, cherishing the love her brother's had for her.
----
When they broke the hug, Fives commed Anakin and Rex, informing them about Reetha's recovery and they made sure to come over and see her immediately.
Kix came rushing in to check on her, simultaneously scolding Fives for not calling him the moment Reetha woke. Needless to say, Reetha was enjoying the drama.
Kix mentioned that Reetha suffered from several burns, but none fatal or damaging to her body. "With proper care, Reetha should be able to recover, in a months time." "What? A month! Kix's that's too long." Kix huffed "Well, serves you right for scaring the hell out of me." He turned on his heels towards the medical office before turning back to her. "Oh, and if you as much as try to escape from here to avoid your meds, so help me vod'ika I'll tie you down to your bed."
Reetha nodded and shrank into her blankets, knowing not to cross the angry medic.
Throughout the month of her recovery, the boys would constantly visit her. Rex would pamper Reetha with all her favorite drinks and food, until Kix threatened to ban him from visiting Reetha, if he continued to feed her 'nonsense'. Fives would come in with Echo, Hardcase and Anakin to update Reetha with her daily dose of gossip. Jesse usually had to keep Kix from becoming a dangerous mama bear, whenever one of the guys would keep Reetha up from her sleep. Kix wanted to make sure that his little sister had the proper amount of rest. Needless to say, he camped out the whole month of Reetha's care, to keep tabs on a certain gossip crew.
The shinies, mainly Vaugh, Sterling, Tup and Dogma would visit to keep Reetha company in anyway they could. Mostly binge watching the holonet.
By the end of the month, just as Kix predicted, Reetha was already healed up. Now she was walking down the halls of the temple, a week after being discharged from the medbay. While walking in the peace of the temple, she remembered what the guys, whom she grew so fond of, would give everything to keep her safe. Steady beeping red light emitted from her wrist comm. A warmth grew in her chest. "Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum, ner vods." She sighed out loud before walking to her room. A smirk graced her lips.

BONUS!!!!!!!
The clones were all huddled around a specific comm on Rex's bed. "Alright, alright. Quiet down." Rex shushed his brothers. They heard faint footsteps coming from the comms. Then a sigh.
"Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum, ner vods." Reetha's sweet voice poured from the comms.
Upon hearing this the guys accidently let out an 'AWWWWW'.
Chuckles came from the comms and the boys froze. "Set up my comms huh?" Reetha asked sweetly.
"Ahaha, yeahhh..." Rex answered flustered.
"All of you guys huddled over the comm?"
Rex looked to his brothers. Kix simply mouthed. "She knows"
"Uh...yeah, yeah very much so." he sighed defeatedly.
She laughed through the comms. The laugh made her brothers smile. She let out a sigh. "I love you guys." then she turned of the comms.
The guys froze once again, all knowing well that the protective urge to take care of their little sister only grew more and more. "We love you more, vod'ika." Rex sighed.
