"We did it!" one of the rebels yelled, after 2 years the Rebellion had finally freed lothal from the tyranny of the Empire. Although it was still a long way from defeating the Empire it would be a message to the rest of the galaxy that the Rebellion can over throw the Empire. Commander Sato had decided to throw a celebration on lothal for their first major victory.
Everyone including the Ghost crew was excited for their victory but Ezra was still unhappy about something. None of the crew saw this because Ezra pretended like nothing was wrong, but Sabine could tell something was off about Ezra and so she decided when Ezra would leave the party to find out.

Celebration at the imperial H.Q.

The celebration was thrown at the imperial headquarters and everyone came to it. The things that happened at the celebration were people had drinks, foods were passed, some people talked about the future, and activities happened. When the Ghost crew arrived they joined in on the activities and card games that were happening, Hera and Kanan were talking about what was going to happen in the Rebellion and their lives in the future, Zeb and Chopper were playing card games with other people, trying to get some extra credits, Ahsoka and Rex were exchanging war stories, Stahl and Ketsu were at the sparing arena, Sabine was at the painting competition, and Ezra was just watching Sabine for a little while. When Ezra decided to leave Sabine saw this and took her prize of 1000 credits with new paints and followed Ezra to were he was going.

Sabine had been following Ezra for about 5 minutes before she saw Ezra stop in front of his burned down old house. She slowly approached him and called his name 3 times but got no response, so she poked him in the ribs making him giggle. When Sabine had Ezras attention she asked "you ok Ezra" "ya I'm fine, why do you ask" Ezra answered "because you left the celebration and you look like your about to cry" Sabine said a little worried. Ezra just gave out a sign and said in a saddening voice "I wish they were here, I wish my parents could see what has happened" "Ezra" Sabine said, Ezra continued to talk "I miss them so much, I wanted them to be here when lothal was freed, I wanted them to be proud of what we, I have done". Sabine knew Ezra was in pain since his parents weren't here to be with him, although Sabine never met his parents she knew something about them, Sabine then said "Ezra, I may not have met your parents, but I can tell you one thing I do know about them, I know that they are proud of what you have done and what you have achieved" "how do you know that Sabine, when their not even here" Ezra said letting a few tears fall from his eyes. "I know because I am proud of you Ezra, I'm proud to have met you, to have lived with you, to have fought by your side, and I am proud for falling in love with you", as soon as Ezra heard this he looked at Sabine shocked and asked "you love me?". Sabine just smiled and asked "does this answer your question?" then she kissed him, they both melted into the kiss and didn't part until about 3 minutes, when they parted Ezra smiled at Sabine and answered "yes it does" then they hugged each other while looking at each others faces. As they hugged each other Ezra said in his normal voice "thank you Sabine" "your welcome my blueberry (i couldn't resist using it)" Sabine answered "so we are using nicknames now, are we?" Ezra asked while smiling at Sabine "always" she answered "well then my chocolate mando, lets get back to the party before they send a rescue squad down here" Ezra said.

When they got back to the H.Q. they saw fireworks shot into the sky and the couple would remember this moment for the rest of their lives.
