During a mission Obi-Wan Kenobi was killed in battle, that left Anakin Skywalker devastated. He soon learned about the planet Korriban.

Anakin went there to seek out answers to prevent anyone he cared about from dying. While there he learned the ways of the dark side, and became extremely powerful. The thing was he still loved Padmé dearly.

After two years of Anakin training in secret the Empire was formed. Padmé, who had been there with Anakin the past year was pregnant.

Padmé started going into labor and Anakin rushed her to a medical facility. There Luke, and Leia were born. But soon afterwards Padmé was killed by the Emperor's apprentice, Darth Vader.

Anakin fled into hiding on Korriban to complete his training there, and to raise his two newborn children.
