Chapter 21: Shocked
Third POV
Everyone was dead silent as they stared at the unconscious boy on the floor. He just used the dark side Kanan thought as he and his members stared solemnly down at Ezra. He just used the darkside. This thought repeated through Kanan's mind as he tried to grasp on what just happened. My student, my padawan, my family member just used the wrong side of the force. This is bad very, very, very, very, very bad.
"Kanan?" Hera stuttered as she looked over at Kanan with worried filled within her beautiful green eyes.
"What's going on with the kid?" Zeb questioned as he stared down at his roommate.
"Is he going to be okay?" Sabine asked just as worried as everybody else.
Kanan completely ignored everyone's questions as his eyes never left Ezra's body.
"He-he-just used the darkside." Kanan mumbled so they could hear. "And it was all my fault."
"Kanan it wasn't your fault." Hera reassured.
"But it is." Kanan said.
"No it's not." Sabine disagreed.
"I swear when I get my hands on the Inquisitor, he's going to be sorry." Zeb growled as he tried to break free like Ezra just did.
Kanan's thoughts were drifted, as he stares down at his poor innocent padawan who would do anything to protect him and his ghost crew.
A faint moan was heard as the ghost crew all looked at the Inquisitor awakening. He clutched his head as it throbbed with pain. He grasped for breaths as if it may be his very last. His other hand reached towards his throat as air started to go through the Inquisitor's lungs. He grabbed the side of the wall as he tried to standup. He finally did as he stumbled across to see the boy. He was impressed with this young child's ability of the darkside. He would make a perfect ally. Only if he embraced his fate of becoming a Sith. The Inquisitor thought as he eyed the Jedi, Kanan Jarrus.
"He's more powerful then I thought." The Inquisitor told Kanan, Hera, Zeb and Sabine. Who were thinking the same thing. "He has great potential to do great things for the Empire."
"He won't join you." Kanan hissed.
"It's not your choice Jedi." The Inquisitor directed his attention towards Ezra again. "It's his."
"He won't become someone like you." Hera reassured as her eyes met Ezra's limp body.
"Don't be so confidence Phoenix leader. Rest assure, there are many ways to push someone to their full potential." The Inquisitor sneered. Hera's heart sank as she thought about what the Inquisitor could do to Ezra and the others. Just the image of it made Hera disgusted. Zeb growled unamused by the turn of this situation.
"He works with the rebellion and not with scum like you." Sabine spoke up.
"Not yet he doesn't but soon." The Inquisitor hissed as a small grin formed on his ugly face.
"What is that suppose to mean?" Zeb muttered to himself. The Inquisitor ignored this question as two new stormtroopers entered the room while stepping over the unconscious ones.
"Guards take this child." Gesturing towards Ezra. "To cell block 3461C. Keep him there until further notice and give him restraints." The Inquisitor ordered as the stormtroopers obeyed and walked towards Ezra.
Not only did Ezra used the dark-side but we're not going to be in the same cell. This is just great! Now who is going to protect Ezra from the Inquisitor! Kanan thought as he and the rest of the ghost crew struggled to reach their youngest member.
"Your not taking him. I won't let you." Zeb growled as he wanted to reach out towards the kid. "I won't let you torture him."
"No!" Sabine said as she saw the stormtroopers throw Ezra over one shoulder. While the other Stormtrooper placed handcuffs on Ezra's wrist. Kanan was furious at the Inquisitor! When he got out of this medal table...well let's just say the Inquisitor will be in pieces. And the worst part about it was that the ghost crew could do nothing. They just had to watch their youngest member being carried out of the cell and place into a father cell.
"You won't get away with this." Hera huffed.
"I believe I already have." The Inquisitor reassured as his hands moved towards his lightsaber.
"No you haven't." Kanan hissed. The Inquisitor made a hysterical laugh as he ignited his ruby blade.
"Now where were we."
