Chapter 10: Taken into the Darkness
Ezra POV
The first thing I thought was about how badly my body aches. I squinted my eyes as they started to adjust to the light. Ugh where am I now! I looked around at my surroundings. I was in a white painted room strapped to a slanted table. There were two other tables but those were just for holding some tools. Damn it those were tools! I struggled against the medal straps holding me in. I kept on squirming. I was not going to give up. And when I say I'm not going to give up. I'm not going to give up! I struggled and struggled until I heard the door hissing open. In walked Agent Kallus.
"Hello Jabba, your finally awake." Ha. Ha very funny Agent Kallus. I rolled my eyes.
"Now Jabba, you are going to tell me. Where your rebel friends are." Agent Kallus smirked evilly.
"You know the Inquisitor asked me the same question. And guess what? I did not tell him anything." I replied.
"Weather you like it or not you are going to tell me where your rebel base is." Agent Kallus said.
"I'm going to go with not telling you." I spoke sarcastically.
"But my dearest Ezra." He said finally using my real name. "I have my ways to make you talk." I hesitated. Agent Kallus then made his way towards a gray table where he picked up an injection tube. Ugh. Not more injection tubes! I squirmed as I tried to get off this torture table.
"Don't even try escaping." He said while noticing my struggles to break free. He walked up to me and injected me with a serum. For mere moments it was just silent. Until there was so much pain. It was like my insides were burning. My head felt like it was going to explode. I started twitch. ALOT! I then felt another presence in the room. I looked up to find not only Agent Kallus staring down at me, but the Inquisitor too, both with evil smiles on their faces. To be honest it made me want to punch them. But I was in so much pain I wasn't even sure if I could move properly.
"The serum worked I presume?" The Inquisitor asked Agent Kallus.
"Yes, inquisitor but soon it will soon take full affect." Full affect. What does he mean by that. Couple minutes later I found out what Agent Kallus meant by full affect. It was like I was trapped in my own mind. I couldn't see anything but the darkness. No Inquisitor and no Kallus. It was just darkness. I stood up and kept trying to find some light. Until I saw something that terrified me. It was the crew, handcuffed and beaten. I just wanted to look away but I couldn't. No literally I couldn't. I was being forced to watch.
Then I saw the Inquisitor walk in. He activated his red lightsaber and headed towards the crew. Finishing off every last one of them. There screams echoed in my ears as they died.
"N-n-NO!" I yelled as small teardrops rolled down my cheeks. I ran to the crew. Who in my perspective were like my family. I couldn't loose them. I softly cries over there dead corpses.
"You couldn't save them. You were too weak. Vulnerable. Join me and you will not end up dead like them."the Inquisitor hissed.
I turned around and I felt all my anger radiating off of me.
"You are a monster and You will pay." More anger came. "And I will say this one last time. I WILL NEVER JOIN YOU!" I then force pushed he Inquisitor against the wall. The scene then changed again to the ghost crew. They looked alive and well but something was off with them. They had red cold eyes.
"We never cared about you." Hissed Sabine. "You were never one of us." My heart kinda shattered right now. When I heard this.
"You are a pathetic orphan. Not even, you are a street rat. You shouldn't even be alive." Zeb taunted. Why would he say that? I was on the verge of tears.
"You are nothing Ezra Bridger. You are just a memory that we want to throw away and never see again." Hera taunted.
"No, you wouldn't say that this isn't real." I said hoping that I was right. I felt more pain go towards my head. Kanan laughed.
"You are undisciplined and a filthy piece of trash that I call my padawan. We never loved you and we never will."
"NO!" I yelled. Until I faded into the darkness again. You know if this is becoming a thing (me fading into the darkness) I'm just going to knock myself out.
Normal POV (not in Ezra's mind.)
The Inquisitor and Agent Kallus looked down at the struggling boy. Ezra struggled underneath the straps, where he was being held, in the torture chamber. Ezra kept on twitching as he tried to break free from the medal restraints. Much anger was radiating off of him. As said before. And the Inquisitor could feel it. The inquisitor smiled as he hoped that the boy in front of him will soon become his apprentice.
Agent Kallus and the Inquitor both were happy that the serum worked. But of course they didn't show it. The serum was made to feel torture both mentally, and physically. And boy was it working. Ezra clenched his hands then... BOOM both men slammed against the wall. They both started to gasp for breath, from being thrown that hard, into the wall. They then both stared shocked at Ezra as he lifted everything in the air with the force without even knowing it. The Inquisitor quickly got up and forced the handles on the side to shock Ezra which caused everything to slam down on the ground.
"Agent Kallus. I think we had enough for today." The Inquisitor said. He then unstrapped Ezra which made him fall over into the Inquisitors hands. "I will take him to his cell." He carried Ezra bridal style to his cell where he place him roughly on the steel bed. He stared down at the boy while still thinking about what happened. This boy was impressive and would make and excellent alli. He just needed to take this boy to the dark side first.
