Prologue: 8:15 P.M.
A carnival happened outside of a nice little house. "Hello," a babysitter named Tua said through the phone, "Who is this?"
"Who is this?" A dark and deep mans voice repeated through the phone. "I'm Tua, I'm a babysitter," Tua replied, "Why do you keep calling me?" The man hung up on Tua making her more creeped out.
As the carnival went on and the neighborhood was active with people walking around with smiles. No one heard the screams of the babysitter and the children.
9:10 A.M.
"Hello Agent Kallus," a police greeted the detective, "What are you doing here?"
"I was called to investigate the premises," Kallus said and walked into the house followed by the police man. "Would you like some gloves sir?" The police man asked. "Thank you," Kallus said and gladly took the glove. "Second door to your left," the police man said as Kallus headed up the stairs.
Kallus walked up to the door and used the glove so it wouldn't touch the knob. He turned it and opened the door to see something the horrified him. A minute later, he closed the door and asked the police man, "What weapon was used?"
"That's the problem," the police said, "There wasn't a weapon." Kallus was surprised and followed the police man out of the house. "We are having a hard time trying to identify who this murder is," the police man said to Kallus. "We need to find this devious master mind before anyone else ends up like this," Kallus said as body bags were being carried out of the home.
7:00 A.M.
"What?! But I can't be grounded!" 17 year old, Hera Syndulla pouted. "No buts!" Cham Syndulla said sternly, "That means no phone and car." Hera scolded at her father.
"But there is a bomb fire happening tonight," Hera said. "Your not changing my mind, Hera," Cham said, "and for your punishment, you are going to babysit tonight."
Hera sighed and tossed her book bag over her shoulder putting it on her back. "Fine," she grumbled then walked out the door with her father following. They hopped into the car and drove to the school.
"Bye," Cham said and Hera waved goodbye after she cooled down in the car.
1:25 P.M.
"Go," the gym teacher said and Hera ran on a plate form above the basketball court that went around the whole gym. She looked down at the court to see the boys playing basketball. One boy in particular caught her her, Kanan. Hera kept looking down at him then focused on running again.
Hera stopped when she made it around the full circle. "Come on Hera," the teacher said looking at her stop watch, "I know you can get 24 seconds if you focus ahead than on anything else."
I looked over the rail catching my breath as I watched Kanan play. "Yes coach," Hera said not looking back at the gym teacher.
Hera opened her locker door and picked up her cell phone. She tried to see if it worked but the service was blocked from it. "Darn it," she muttered then shut the cell phone and saw the picture of her and her friends. On the left of Hera was her friend Ahsoka. Ahsoka was very nice and an amazing friend.
On Hera's right was her other 'friend' Numa. Hera was ignoring her because Numa decided to get drunk and kiss her boyfriend. Hera pulled the picture off her cell phone and clutched it in her hand.
"Hera," someone called and she turned to see her ex-boyfriend Kanan. I shut my locker and walked in a different direction. "Can I please talk to you," he pleaded. "What is there to talk about?" I said still walking. "Look, she kissed me," he said. "And you didn't try to get out of the kiss," I spat back and walked into the art room leaving Kanan out in the hall.
I calmed down and smiled as I walked over to Ahsoka. Ahsoka looked up and smiled at me. I looked over at what she was painting to see that it was a banner but an i didn't look the straightest.
"That doesn't look straight," Hera said and Ahsoka laughed. "Well, I'm not very good at painting," she said. My smile disappeared when Numa walked up behind Ahsoka. "Hey," Numa said then stared at Hera with guilt. There was a tense silence between the two of them. "Well, I better go," Numa said and left off to somewhere.
After a while, Hera and Ahsoka left the art room. "So, are you going to the bomb fire tonight?" Ahsoka asked excitedly. "No, I'm grounded," Hera told her, "As punishment, I have to watch some kids tonight."
"Oh well, who needs to go to some bomb fire. Am I right?" Ahsoka said which made Hera laugh a little. "Yeah, sure," Hera said.
7:45 P.M.
Hera leaned her head on the fist of her hand that rested on the car door. "Look, you need to learn your lesson," Cham stated, "And the only thing I can do that is for you to be responsible by doing this job."
"Uh huh," she muttered while staring mindlessly out the window. There was silence between the two until her dad decided to speak up. "Man, this seems to be quite a ways," Cham said, "Are you going to be ok out here alone?"
"I don't know, your the one that is making me do this," Hera retorted but sighed and said calmly, "I'm sure I'll be fine." Hera's father kept driving then slowed down and looked out the window at the house. "Wow, I should become a doctor," he said which made Hera look at the beautiful house that sat back a lake.
Cham drove through the gate and parked in the drive way. "Be careful," he said worried. Hera smiled at her father's worried face, "Always." She kissed his cheek and got out of the car. No matter what, Hera just couldn't stay mad at her dad.
She watched her father back out of the drive way then proceeded up the stairs to the door. She walked along a plate form with railing until she reached the door. Hera knocked on it and soon was opened to reveal a beautiful woman in a long black dress.
"I'm Hera the babysitter," Hera greeted the woman. The woman smiled and let Hera into the house. "I'm Leia and this is my husband Han," Leia said and gestured to her husband who was having troubles with his tie. Leia smiled and shook her head back and forth as she helped her husband.
"I'll show you around," Leia said when she was done with her husband. Hera followed Leia around the house and Hera thought that this was the most beautiful house she had ever been in. "This over here is the kitchen," Leia said walking towards the kitchen. Hera paused and looked out the window to see an amazing garden with koi fish and little yellow birds.
"Your garden is beautiful," Hera said amazed. There was a moveable bridge that went across the pool of water and along the edges was plants that brought life to the garden. "I'm glad you like the garden," Leia said then both women walked into the kitchen. "Here are the phone numbers of you need anything," Leia said gesturing to the paper on the fridge.
Leia showed the rest of the house until they were back to the front door. "Our maid, Rosa is on the third floor in case you hear any noises. Ok, I think that's everything," Leia said. Hera smiled and giggled a bit, "What about the kids?"
Leia smiled and points at a staircase on the right. "Go up the stairs and go to the right," Leia said, "Let them sleep cause they are getting over fevers and they will be hard to get back to sleep if you wake them up," Leia said. Hera nodded understanding. "We might go and see a movie which might take us till midnight to get back. Is that ok?" Leia asked.
"Yes, I'll be fine," Hera said. The two adults put their coats on and headed to the door. "Make yourself at home," Han said before shutting the door. Hera walked into the living room and set her bag on the couch. She laid down next to her stuff then looked over and saw a phone.
