Stories. They are filled with different things and many possibilities. Some are true and some are fake. Some actually happen and some don't exist. Some have adventures with heros and Knights, while others have romance with love and sometimes tragedy. But what they all have in common is that each one has a lesson behind it. You just have to dig down and find out what the story teaches you.
My mom and dad taught me this and told me many stories. But most of the stories were about this one place. A place called the Milkyway system. A galaxy far from ours that has only eight planets and one of those planets could hold life. They call this planet Earth.
This planet has land and seas and always changing weather constantly over time. This place is ruled by only humans since the beginning and has many different species of plants and animals that you would never see or hear of. There are no Twi'leks, lasats, or even Jedi on this planet! There would be good stories of the beautiful planet, even more beautiful than a Lothal sunset or sunrise. Then there would be the bad stories that are told, even worse than the clone wars themselves.
Yet, this amazing planet with all it had to tell was non-existent to many people in my galaxy. Some believed that there was more life than just in our galaxy.
As curious as I was, I asked my parents, "Do you believe that Earth is real?" My parents smiled down at me. "Yes," my mom said. "Why?" I asked. "Sometimes you just have to open your mind to the possibilities of what is true and false. I believe many mythical things are based off of something that is real so yes, I believe that Earth is real." "Why do you tell me stories?" I asked, "I know it's just a lesson but I feel like there is more meaning to it." "It just depends on how you take the story, good or bad," she said, "I tell you these stories so that way you can pass them on so no one repeat's past mistakes."
I nodded understanding then yawned. "Goodnight, Ezra," my dad said, "and happy birthday." I smiled and told my mom and dad goodnight.
I woke up to the sound of someone breaking into my home. My parents were taken as I hide in the safety of under my bed. I didn't come out until sunrise. From thence, I had forgotten all about the stories. They were just to painful to tell to myself that I completely forgot about them over the years.
Then I met the crew. They taught and cared for me as one of their own. We help each other out through thick and thin in the toughest of times. We joined a bigger rebellion over the course of time and learned and grown stronger than ever.
One day, I causally walked passed Sabine's room. I stopped when something wasn't right. I didn't hear the spraying of spray cans of the artist. What does she do besides paint, make bombs, and fight? I knocked on her door, "Hey, Sabine? Can I come in?" "Sure, the doors unlocked," I heard her say and I walked in. I saw her sitting in a chair and reading a book?
"Since when did you read books?" I asked. "Well, I didn't have anything to do so Hera gave me this book," she said. "What's it about?" I asked sitting on the other side of the table and trying to see the inside. "The Mythological Planet Earth," Sabine said reading the title. "What's Earth?" I asked confused. "I don't know," she said, "But there are some pretty neat stories in here, mostly gruesome ones though."
"Oh," I said and wondered if I can remember where I heard 'Earth' from. "If you want," Sabine said snapping me out of my thoughts, "You could go ask Hera, she is the one that gave me the book." I nodded and stood up leaving the room, "Thanks Sabine." "No problem, kid," she said as the door closed. I left towards the cockpit knowing that Hera would be in there.
