Ezra P.O.V
"This place gives me the creeps" I mummbled to myself as I could see the lodge up ahead infront of us. I then felt someone roughly nudge my shoulder as they passed by. "Stop complaining, would ya, it's just a big house in the middle of nowhere" Zeb grumbled as he walked ahead of, catching up with the rest of the crew.

Yesterday, Ahsoka suggested that we all have a break from fighting the Empire for a while and relax for once, and Hera had the brilliant idea to drag us up to a small planet that was basicly winter all year round and had Beauly any people on it. Hera explained to us that she had a friend who lived here and that it would be nice to come here.

So far however, I didn't like it. I don't like the cold. I grew up on a planet that was quiet warm all year round and was use to it, so to be here where it's cold, it was frezzing to me. After a momont, I ran, well more like trudged, through the snow to catch up with everyone.

By the time I did, we were already walking up the steps and to the door. From what I could see, someone was inside, because most of the light's were on, but when Hera knocked, no one came. It was silent for a momont, untill loud barking could be heard, which made me jump for a momont.

"Quiet down boy's" someone shouted from inside the building, and the barking stopped. A momont later, the door opened and behind it a man, around his late 30s, early 40s. "Ah Hera, I see you dropped in for a visit" the man laughed with joy as he held out his hand.

"It's good to see you to Atticus" Hera replied happily as she shook the man's hand and then pointed to us. "This is my crew I told you about. This is Kanan, Sabine, Zeb and Ezra" Hera told the man, who shook all our hands. "It's nice to meet you all, please come inside" he told us as he stepped aside to allow us inside.

When we walked in, it was quiet warm, which made me happy. No more cold. "This is my home, and as long as you are all here, this is your home to" the man, by the name of Atticus, told us as he gestured around the place.

We all looked in awe at the huge home. This was more like a mansion then a lodge to be honest. I then suddenly remebered the barking that was herd a minute ago before we came in, so I decided to ask about it.

"Em Mr Atticus, may I ask what that barking was?" I asked him, catching the man's attention. "Oh, those are my pets, Buddy and Nova" Atticus explained. "Pets? What kind?" Sabine asked the man, she to being curious. "They're two Anooba's, creature's that are native around the outer rim like here. I locked them in a diffrent room cause I didn't know if any of you have allergies" Atticus.

"No non of us have allergies to mammals or canines" Kanan spoke. Atticus nodded. "Alright, I can let them out then, but just a warning, we don't have many visitors up here, so when we do, the two of them become very excited" Atticus warned us as he walked down the hallway and down a corner.

I could hear the sound of a door opening, and then the sound of large paws scratching against the wooden floor. The next thing we know, two large beast ran up to us, running around like mad with exsitment. To be honest, it was kind of funny. The two large beast looked quiet happy and excited while the rest of the crew had paniced expressions, causing me to laugh.

After a momont, Buddy and Nova calmed down and wondered off to who knows where right when Atticus came back. "Sorry about that" he chuckled, probably apologising about the animal's actions.
"It's no problem" Hera reasured him with a smile.

After that, we all settled in quiet well. We were shown to our rooms that we would be staying in, and shown around the lodge, and we even ran into Atticus' wife, Merry in the kitchen where we got some dinner. It was quiet relaxing of a week, just all hunging out and did are own things.

One day, I was sitting in the large open living room with Zeb, who was trying to take a nape on the cough across from me as I sat down on the other couch, my face resting against my fist as I leaned against the arm of the couch.

I was bored to be honest. Kanan, Hera, Atticus and Merry were all in the kitchen talking, chatting, laughing and having glasses of wine, and Sabine was up in her room, probably painting.

"Zeeebbbb" I whined loudly, catching the lasat's attention. "What ya want kid?" He asked in a monotone voice, clearly annoyed. "Do you have any ideas what I can do? I'm bored" I complained to him dramatically. I seen him scowl.

"I dont know, go outside and explore or something, just leave me alone" Zeb told me as he went back to trying to sleep. I just rolled my eye's. That lasat will probably spend most of his life sleeping if he continues like this.

With nothing left to say, I stood up and left the living room and made my way to the kitchen. When I entered, Kanan, Hera, Atticus and Merry were all standing and talking and laughing, a glass of wine in their hands.

After a momont of waiting for them to stop laughing, cause I didn't want to walk right in and be rude, I walked in and over to Hera.
"Hera?" I spoke, catching her attention. She turned to face me and gave me a sweet smile. "Yes Ezra, something wrong?" She asked me.

I could already tell she wasn't as tipsy or drunk as the rest of the adults.
"Could I go outside?" Asked her. I watched as Hera's face twisted into a concern look as she looked out the window.

"Are you going with someone like Sabine? Or Zeb?" She asked me, which I shook my head to. "No, just myself" I replied simply. "He can take Buddy and Nova if that will make you feel better Hera" a voice spoke. We both turned to see it was Atticus speaking.

"Those two know this area well, know when things are off and are great fighters if you run into anything" Atticus reasured us with a smile. I could see Hera relax. "Alright, but stay safe ok" Hera told me, which I nodded to. "Don't worry I will. What's the worse that can happen?" I asked her as I followed Atticus out of the room.

Atticus lead me down the hallways and to a door, where he opened it and Buddy and Nova came running out, jumping up on Atticus with exsitment.
I watched as he just pat them on the head and told them to calm down. After a momont, they did and just resorted to walking around the small hallway.

"Now" Atticus spoke, catching my attention. "The forest can be dangerous out there during this time of year. Don't go into caves incase something is in there, don't go near cliffs cause the snow can break and you'll fall off and stay close to Buddy and Nova, cause you don't know what's out there" Atticus told me seriously.

"Ok" was all I said. Atticus smiled. "Good. Now off you go" Atticus told me as he opened the back door to the lodge and I walked down the stone steps, Buddy and Nova following swiftly behind me as they ran into the snow, and the door shutting close behind me.

With that, I just began to walk through the snow. I walked away from the house and into the forest, Buddy running up further ahead while Nova stayed right at my side, nudging me ever mow and again to keep me on the trail.

It was nice and calming, having some alone time of my own. No one to talk to but to listen to my own thoughts and surroundings. The sound of the snow crunching under me, the sound of the bird's.

However, the more time passed, the quieter it got. I couldn't hear the birds anymore.
That's odd.
I looked over my shoulder and noticed that I couldn't see the lodge anymore. I thought that if I walked a bit, I would still be able to see it from here, but I couldn't.

I then looked to the sky and seen dark grey clouds over head and a gush of wind blew passed, nearly sending me to the ground by how powerful it was. "A snow storm is coming" I mummbled to myself.

I looked over to Buddy and Nova, and noticed that they were glaring at something. I followed their gaze only to see more tree's, like the ones that surrounded us. "Buddy! Nova! Let's go" I called to them, but they didn't move.

That's when I heard something from that direction. Rustling from the tree's. Buddy and Nova at this point were growly lowly, baring their teeth and looked like they were ready to rip someone to shreads.

Now I was becoming really uneasy. I felt uncomfortable. I felt like someone was watching me, as crazy as it sounded.
It's  the kind of feeling you get when your walking home late at night by yourself, and you have that feeling like someone is following you, so you turn around only to see no one, but you still feel it.

To snap me out of my thought's of paranoia, a twig snapped and the two lost it. Buddy and Nova began to bark hysterically and violently at the sound. It was terrifying. I just stood there, not knowing if I should help or see what caused the noise.

Without thinking, I ran. I ran in the opposite direction and kept running, the sound of Buddy and Nova could still be heard, even after minutes of running through the snow. However, the further I got, the quieter it became once again. I felt uneasy and alone. I was lost. I didn't know where I was, and found myself in and clearing, feeling venerable, like I could be attacked at any momont.

"Ezra"

I looked up and spun my head around the area. Was that Hera? I turned my head to where the voice came from.

"Ezra?" I heard it again.
"Hera?" I called out, hoping to see her come out of the forest from somewhere and just take me back to the lodge.

I felt a bit of relief hearing her voice, but, something was off about it. Sure that was my name and that was Hera's voice, but something was so wrong about it, and it made me feel more uneasy, rather the comforting.
It sounded slowed and mummbled, like slowing down a song or someone's speech.

"Come here" it shouted out in as distorted tone, not sounding like Hera any more. That defiantly wasn't Hera. I took a step back, and then another as the voiced called over again.

"Come here"

With that, I ran in the way I thought was the way back to the lodge, but as I ran, the voice began to become louder and it sounded like it was coming from all around me and like there was more voice then one.

"Ezra"

"Come here"

"Ezra. Come here"

I didn't know what was going on. I didn't even know if this was all real as I ran through the snow as snowflakes began to fall heavily to the ground. This continued for a few seconds untill I finaly, FINALY, saw the lodge.

With my safe zone in sight, I drove myself to run faster and so I did. I ran as quickly as I could through the snow and up the stone steps, opening the door and slamming it shut, but not before I heard the voice one last time.

"Come here"

As soon as that door shut, I bolted down the hallways and into the kitchen. When I ran inside, Hera, Kanan, Atticus and Merry all gave me confused glances seeing me.
"Ezra what's wr-" Hera began but I cut her off when I ran over to her and just hugged her, and just started crying.

I know it's sounds stupid, yes, but in that momont, I was terrified. You wouldn't like it if you got lost in the forest by yourself and started getting chased and then believed you were going to die. I truly believed I was going to die die a few momonts ago, so all in that momont was some comfort.

"E-Ezra" Hera spoke as she just hugged me back while I cried. It was reassuring that this was the real Hera, and not someone or something mimicking her voice. "What happened? Are you okay?" She asked me calmly as she pulled me away from her to see if I was okay.

"I-i don't know" I replied through tears. "Okay Ezra, explain everything that happened to us" Hera instructed me calmly once again as she rested her hands on my shoulder. "Take it from the beginning and tell us what happened" Kanan spoke from behind Hera.

I then explained everything that happened. I explained how Buddy and Nova began to growl and bark and something, how I heard Hera's voice but someone was mimicking it, and how it followed me all the way to the back door and stopped when I got inside.

When I was done, everyone had disturbed looks on their faces. Hera was the first to speak. "Atticus, I'm sorry, but I think we should cut this visit short and go back home" Hera told the man. He nodded his head. "Yeah, I think that's for the best for all your safety at the momont" Atticus replied.

And so, we all packed up and as we made are way out the front door, I turned to Atticus. "I-im sorry, for running away and leaving Buddy and Nova. I shouldn't have done that" I apologised. Atticus just smiled. "Don't worry, I'm sure they're okay. There's been many times where I ran and left them on hunting trips and they always come back home safe and sound" Atticus assured me .

I nodded and we left. I still felt super uneasy for a while, even after leaving that planet. Just that whole experience just shook me up a bit. I was left with so many questions.

What was that thing?
How did it know my name?
How was it able to sound like Hera?
And why did it want me to 'come here'?.

I got this idea from a YouTube channel called Something Scary. It's really good.
