Kanan's pov

I watched as Hera held my baby I had recently took in. The child's parents had been killed by the empire and had been left to die. I couldn't let that happen, so I took him back to the ghost. The others were at first surprised but accepted him with open arms as I had. He had no name so I decided on Ezra, it seemed fitting. But no one had taken more to him besides me than Hera. She fell in love with him at first sight... Like I had with her. I wanted to ask her so bad and now I had everything to ask her. A reason and of course a ring. It had an emerald instead of a diamond and a white gold band.

I hope she likes it. I decided that I needed a special someone to guide me in a more personal way and a mother for my son. Ezra needs a mom and I need a wife. Hera was the only one I loved in that way. I decided to make my move. "Hera could you come over here?" She looked over at me and smiled. "Yes of course." When she came over with Ezra still in her arms I got down on one knee and started my proposal. "Hera I have loved you for a thousand years... And will love you for a thousand more but now I ask you to be mine." She teared up and almost dropped Ezra when I asked her. "Ezra needs a mom and I need a guide, you know me better than anyone else. What is your decision?" She stared at me for a while, maybe she doesn't feel the same way. She then wrapped a arm around my neck and kissed me. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" I smiled and picked her up while she still had Ezra. One week later we were married.

Eight years later

"Daddy tell me how you met mommy again?" I smiled as Ezra sat in my lap staring up at me curiously. He had grown up so much. Hera was in the kitchen washing dishes while I sat on a bar stool with Ezra. "Ezzy maybe mommy could tell you this time." I grinned at Hera while she gave me the look of 'really'. She shook it off though and told the story for the hundredth time. Life was good.
