Kanan's pov

Me and Hera woke up early preparing the Thanksgiving meal but it was weird that non of our kids had woken up yet........ Guess they want to sleep in on Thanksgiving morning... Hera was making the cranberry sauce and I was in charge of the turkey. "Love you almost finished with that? It needs to get in the oven soon in order for it to be ready on time." "Working on it." About fifteen minutes later I finally finished and had it cooking in the oven. Now I decided to annoy Hera by dipping my finger in the cranberry sauce "Kanan Jarrus cut that out you'll eat all of it before dinner!" Hera exclaimed angry "Alright I'll stop... But one more time for quality insurance." As I went for another taste I got my hand slapped by Hera. "I deserved that." "Yes you did." she said grinning in victory. I chuckled and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek from behind her has she stirred the sauce. "Alright lover boy watch the mashed potatoes will ya?" I nodded and checked them "They're good." "Okay, I'm going to put the sauce in the fridge and if I see any missing you're dead!" I lifted my hands in surrender "Okay okay I'll leave it alone." She smiled, put it in the fridge, and then motioned for me to sit down with her by the bar stools. I did so "Want to name some things we're thankful for?" she asked "Sure, I'm thankful for my lightsaber." "I'm thankful for my ship." "I'm thankful for my bed." "I'm thankful for the sun." This went on for a few minutes "I'm thankful for you." Hera blurted out, she paused and blushed while I smiled "I'm thankful for you too Hera." I gave her a kiss that lasted for a few minutes but was interrupted when we heard a gag. I looked and saw Ezra standing in the door way acting like he was gagging "Gross." Me and Hera brought him closer while we laughed at his reaction. He too chuckled and said "So you guys are a thing?" Me and Hera looked at each other smiling, Hera piped up "We've actually been a thing for a while now haven't we?" "Yes we have been." I turned my gaze back to Ezra and noticed him finding the ground oddly interesting. "Ezra?" I asked placing a hand on his shoulder. "So... Does that make you guys my parents?" Hera brought him into a hug "I guess it does sweetie." I wrapped my arms around the two of them and felt Ezra smile. "I'm thankful for my new parents." I kissed Ezra on the forehead and Hera on the cheek "We're thankful for you too son.".
