Ezra's pov set during season 2

Another boring day on the ghost with nothing to do. No new missions, nothing new on the Inquisitors, absolutely nothing..... Just great, so now we sit in the common room doing nothing. "Hera says this is a good time to do normal family activities, what do you want to do?" I heard Kanan ask. The word family in that sentence just makes me so angry though. WE'RE NOT FAMILY!!! "But Kanan are we family? I mean, we're not related biologically, we don't look anything alike, do we even act like a normal family?"

Kanan's pov

I couldn't help contain a chuckle earning me a pouty face from Ezra and a death glare from Hera. "Sorry it's just, I used to think about that too and.... I've come to realize with time and special people" I say as I ruffle the kids now messy hair "That family isn't just DNA, it's a group of people that always have each others backs and love one another unconditionally." Ezra looked to the ground only for me to grab his chin so that his eyes met mine. "Hera and I will never replace your parents but we do try our best to be somewhat close to being like parents. Sabine and Zeb try their best to be siblings as well, we're family Ezra. And we'll never stop loving you no matter what." Ezra smiled finally and a glow could be seen in his eyes. "I know." He  wrapped his arms around me and Hera, we quickly reacted too. "I'll always be here for you, both me, Kanan, and the others." Hera said and then she kissed his forehead. We remained in the hug for quite a while until Here and I heard soft snoring. We looked down to see Ezra fast asleep, the boy was smiling as he slept. "I think our boy's tired love. Wanna put him in bed?" "Yeah, I'll just put him on my top bunk." I gave Hera a quick kiss and picked up the sleeping child. Walking down the hall my eyes scanned through the paintings of our crew, all done by Sabine of course. We may be a rebel crew but we're family at heart.

I want to write one more one-shot tomorrow or update "Empty Hearts". Everyone seems to really like that one.😊 That tribute above is absolutely my new favorite!😍 Who ever made it did a fantastic job!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
