Shadow's POV

I allowed the darkness to swallow me for a moment. I then turned on light and turned to look at the crew and said, "If you want to contact your friends from the rebellion,  there's an old communications station here."

Hera replied, "Thank you again for helping us out. We all appreciate it."

"Don't mention it."

She then asked, "Hey, since you risked you life for a bunch of strangers, I was thinking... you have the characteristics of a Rebellion soldier. I was wondering if you maybe... well, do want to join the Rebellion?"

"No!" I screamed, a bit louder than I meant to.

I quickly recovered and said, "No, thank you. I'm neither a Rebel or an Imperial. I'm about like the one in the middle."

She nodded her head in understanding and all of the sudden the room did a 180. I then remembered the bad cuts that I had, so I excused myself and went into the bathroom to patch myself up. I made sure that the door was locked before I took off my helmet, because I wasn't ready for crew to know my identity yet, for I had changed quite a bit since we last saw each other. I had lost  a bit of weight and gained muscles and got too many scars to count, especially two of them. I had one on my one side, over my eye brow, and it stopped before my eye. I also had one on my cheek. Both of them were from knife fights gone wrong. My hair had gotten a shade darker and I had also cut it down a bit so it wasn't as shaggy.  My voice had changed and I was also taller, almost as tall as Kanan. My eyes were dimmer then they once were, no longer did they have the spark of electricity in them. It was like all the laughter had left me. I finished cleaning my wounds and put me helmet back on, walking back out to the living room, seeing that Hera walking away from the communicator. "Did it get through?" I asked.

She nodded. "That's good. Now... Sleeping arrangements!" I stated, clapping my hands together. "Alright, Ponytail and Twi'lek, you get the master bedroom over there.

"Um... kid, I'm not ponytail and we are just dating, we're not married." he said.

I laughed to myself as I heard that. Sabine owes me money now! Ha! I came out of thought and started giving arrangements again. "Okay, Lasat, you get the spare bedroom and Mando, you get my room. Everyone to sleep by first light. 'Night guys. Oh, and by the way, your droid can recharge over here."

TIME SKIP

Shadow's POV (dream)

I was on Malacore and Kanan was there standing.

I yelled at him, "Kanan, you okay?"

"Yeah, no thanks to you. Where were you when Maul attacked and blind me? Huh? Where were you when I needed you the most? Where were you when I was fighting the Grand Inquisitor?  It was your fault I was hurt. I was captured because of you, you useless, worthless street rat."

"Kanan," I stammered, "I'm sorry! I did all I could, but I couldn't.

"No excuses, you idiot."

It was a different voice. I choked at the sound of the voice that I recognized. I turned and saw Ahsoka. "A-a-a-a-a-hsoka, I wanted to help but..." I looked at her more closely. She looked like a corpse.

"Yes," she said coldly, "my death is on you."

I froze. I couldn't believe this! My friends were betraying me! I was about in tears, but then all of sudden a red lightsaber stabbed Kanan from behind and killed him. "Kanan!" I screamed.

After that, Ahsoka fell dead also. "No!" I yelled.

A figure then came from behind them, retracting his saber from her back.

"Hello again, my apprentice." said the figure. Maul...

The ground then gave away and I fell through the floor. I landed in a room that had a mirror. I was looking at a younger version of me standing there. I put up my hand and my younger self mimicked my movements. I sighed, then suddenly, the room started to fill up with water and I yelped. I started to try to break the glass because it wasn't filling up on the other side. I started to bang on the glass and then remembred the Force. Duh. I put my hand on glass and tried to break it but nothing happened. I started to panic. I then started to bang on the door repeatedly as my vision started to blur as the water rose rapidly over my head...

END OF DREAM

I woke up sweating and finding it hard to breathe. Then I rememebered that I had my helment on and the events that had happened the night before. I saw chopper charging at the little station that we had. I then shakily walked quietly to get my bag from behind couch. I always hid it  because my friends knew I had it and put my thought into it, so I didn't want them looking at it because what put in there was very important. There two journals, one just for sketching, the other for what my dreams and visions meant. I was confused, so I got out the one that I drew in and started to sketch. When I was finished,  it was the picture of a mirror with a hand touching it with hand copying trying to break out. I looked up and saw the the time. Instantly I jumped up and grabbed my bag, stuffing my journals. It was 5:00, so I snuck in my room and started to pack my things. I was almost done when I heard a voice say, "What are you doing?"

I spun around and saw Sabine, then realized I wasn't wearing my jacket,  just a T-shirt, so I quickly grabbed a jacket and said, "Did I wake you?"

"No... what are you doing?"

"Packing." I reply. "Can you wake the others? We are leaving soon."

With that I grabbed the rest of what I needed and and walked out.

Sabine's  POV

I woke up to see someone in the room I was staying in and saw it was that it was Shadow with out a his jacket on, so all of his muscles were showing. He was taking some clothes and tools and other things.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

He spun around and seemed to notice me staring at him, because he put his jacket back on.

_________Time Skip to after the conversation______________________

I was walking around trying to find everyone. I was thinking about how hot  Shadow was. I then saw Kanan and Hera cuddling. I admired them for a while then I lightly tapped on the door, waking the couple up and said, "It's time to get up!"

Then I was off to find Zeb. I woke him then headed into the kitchen and saw a meiloorun with a knife sticking out of it. Then I heard Shadow say, "Eat up. You'll probably have a long day ahead of you."

"Thanks," I said.

I started to eat my food, then I noticed a large bag next to Shadow and I asked, "You going somewhere?"

He replied, "Yep. Not sure where, but I got to get some money. Food isn't cheap here, not anymore."

"You looking for a job?"

Both Shadow and I jumped at the noise. It was Hera.

"Um... yeah." Shadow replied.

"Well," Hera started, "when I was the holocomunicator with our commanding officer, he said we needed to find a reliable hired hand to help with a job. Would you like to help?"

Shadow seemed to considered for minute and then said...

JK I'm not that mean 

"Yes, but only one mission that's it." he said.

"Yes," Hera replied, "alright."

"Is he coming?" I heard Kanan ask.

"Yes," Hera said sternly, "and you will be nice."

There was no reply as he came into the room, pouting. Then we all ate our meilooruns, then the sun started to show. 

Then Shadow said, "Come on. We have to get going."

We all packed up and got ready to go. As we were leaving I swore I heard heard Shadow say, "One last mission together..."
