"EZRA TURN AWAY BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!!!"

Too late.

It happen so fast. The holocrons fused together and Ezra was slung back from Maul and Kanan. Ezra slammed to the ground and went still. Kanan jumped to his feet before Maul got back up. Kanan dropped to his knees towards Ezra.

     "Ezra? Ezra?" He shook his Padawan, trying to wake him up. Ezra didn't move, he almost cringed. Maul stood tall again. His yellow eyes stopped at Ezra. "Apprentice?" He whispers.

    Kanan bolded Ezra close to him. His blind eyes faced Ezra, he gave a death glare towards the Sith. "You..." He growled under his breathe. Maul looked carefully at Kanan. Kanan had Ezra's head to his chest where the teen could hear his heartbeat. Both arms close to each other with, both hands on each other.

     "My apprentice, I will avenge you for this man hurting you!" Maul barked. Kanan held a growl. He ain't your apprentice, he's my Padawan. Kanan layed his Padawan down, with his eyes still shut close. Kanan ignited his lightsaber, doing it how he last faced Maul. Maul laughed and ignore his fighting position.

    "Ha ha! You can't win against me! Your tenacity is your downfall!" He smirked. Kanan kept his eyes on Maul. He could feel the evil flow through Maul, the hate the revenge. Kanan only took in a deep breathe, keeping his mind focus. "Oh, you can try, on great Master Jedi..."

  "There is no try, oh great Sith." Kanan replied. Maul charged towards Kanan but, Kanan moved quickly and attack from back. "Your apprentice is mine, now!" He yelled. Kanan forced push him back.  "He was never was yours!" Kanan yelled. Maul kept striking Kanan who only jumped to the left side and stopped still. Maul gave a stare of kill.

      You think you can get away easily? Kanan slowly walked back. The Jedi didn't know what to do. One, facing a deadly enemy. Two, Ezra was down.

  
   "I...won't let you hurt my family again." Kanan kept his calm. Maul ignited the other half of his lightsaber. "Why should I? I only want the boy!" Maul hissed. Kanan walked forward. "Touch him, you are nothing but crowfood!" Kanan murmured under his breath.

      "You'll be eating those words, Jedi!" Kanan, even being blind, he could still see what's going on. His main thing is to make sure his Padawan is alright. "Why did you make him do this?!" Kanan spoke with anger. Maul only push Kanan, who was flung back into the wall.

     "No care was shown to the boy, abandoned, lost. No hope. He...is what the Empire needs, someone who wants power, revenge. And to kill those who treated him...wrong." Kanan's knees shook and he fell to his knees. He's lying Kanan! He always lies! Kanan stood up again.

     "You can't save him...only I can...he's mine now!" Maul shouted.

     Kanan used the Force to lift up Maul. "He's my Padawan...you ever get near him again...no more sorrow!" Kanan used the Force to sling Maul off the edge and fall to his death. Nobody hurts him! Kanan bolted to Ezra and shook the kid. Ezra only mumbled.

       "Ezra! It's me, Kanan." Kanan said, pulling the teen closer. "...Kanan.." Kanan blinked. Ezra was ok!

     "Ugh...K...Kanan." His voice was shaky and low. He tried to stand up but fell into Kanan's arms for support. "Easy, kid. You ok?" Ezra nodded. "Kanan...the...the.." The what?

    "Ezra...what is it..." Kanan shook the teen more. "The Key..." Ezra whispers.

    "The Key...to destroying the Sith......is..........." Ezra's eyes rolled to the back of his head. His body collapsed to the ground. "EZRA!" Kanan cried. Ezra's body was really pale, his eyes shut tight. "Ezra, wake up. Open your eyes." Kanan shook the teen.

   Kanan was near the verge to cry, yet he felt like he couldn't. Don't cry, Kanan don't cry! He kept telling himself, over again.

     "Ezra." He cried.

     Stay with me..

     Kanan didn't move, he kept still and hold his Padawan's hand. Wake up kid, I can't lose you...

   Kanan layed down next to him, still and hugging his friend. "I promise, to bring you home, just...Stay with..me." Kanan felt sleep take over him.

     When Kanan woke up, he felt his hand touch a wall, he could tell by that he was in the Ghost. Kanan got up, touching the wall, trying to know where he was going.

    He walked out of his room. He heard footsteps. Hera. "Kanan?" She said with a sad voice, that made his heart drop. "Where's Ezra?" He asked.

     Hera walked up and hugged him, she had tears falling down. "He's gone, hun, I'm sorry." Kanan almost fell, Ezra was gone?

     "What you mean?" Kanan's voice crack. "He wasn't there when we found you....I'm sorry." Kanan couldn't help it anymore, he ran outside the Ghost. He ran past people and kept going, he needed to speak to someone....Bendu...

Bendu, I need you now!
