It was early, real early. Around 1 AM, a not so tired Padawan toss and turn in his bed, thinking. He's been withered the Rebel Crew for almost a year now. He sees great care, and passion in them all.

Yet Ezra, mostly sees Kanan. Kanan was always there for him, to joining, to fighting beside, heck even when he was sick Kanan was by his side. He seen something more than just his, friend or Master but something that makes him feel better, happy.

Ezra looked at the time on his holoclock. 1:15Am and still no sleep. Ezra then thought of what he wanted to do. Make Kanan a gift. An idea hatched and Ezra was filled with energy. He quietly got out of his shared cabin and ran towards his old tower. He remembered having some metal laying around and decided to make a small metal with his symbol but, with a K in the middle. He smiled at the idea and went to search for the metal piece.

Ezra eventually found it and started working on it. He notice a little music player. He walked up to it and seen a song disc. This Song Saved My Life. He loved this song. In the beginning he didn't but now, he liked it. He played it in and he hummed to the song.

The song stopped playing and he looks at what he has done so far, it was almost done, he makes a few more designs and grabs a iron chain. He clicks the chain on it and smiles at it. Then, he looks at the song.

Should I show him that song? He thought. Yes, he knew that Kanan would understand and decided to relax. He layed his head down and smiled sweet until sleep swept him.

Hours later, Ezra lifts his head up and yawns. He realized he was still at his old tower. He checked the time. 9:25Am. Snap! Everyone was up at this time! Ezra stumbled out of his chair, grabbed the gift and song and bolted towards home.

He ran and ran, until he was near the Ghost. Ezra then slowed down and heard Hera's voice which meant big trouble. Ezra ran to the side of the ship and listen carefully. "What you mean he wasn't in bed?!" He gulped knowing that this was bad. "He wasn't there..." Ezra quickly put the gift and little song in his pocket and strolled into the Ghost.

"Hey, guys." He said with an awkward smile. Hera jumped and hugged him close. "Where were you?" She asked. "Don't worry, just out for a walk, that's all." Hera smiled and patted his hair.

Ezra nodded and acted like he was going to his room. He waited for a few minutes and climbed into the vents. Since everyone was out in the main room, he was being sneaky and heading into Kanan's room. When he finally crawled out and landed well, he placed the gifts went back in the vents.

Soon as he was out, he went back into the main room and sat beside Kanan. He felt his head rest on Kanan's shoulder and was falling asleep. He finally closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around Kanan. Kanan jumped a little only to realize it was Ezra.

He placed his head on Ezra's small one and smiled. Hera and Sabine squealed. "Ok. That's cute." Sabine smiled. Zeb just huffed and looked at Chopper, who the driod took a picture of them two.

Kanan noticed something was up with the kid, he seen how he hadn't much have sleep. He let the kid sleep and picked him up and carried him to his room. The other's got confused and decided to leave them be. Kanan walked in his room and layed the kid down.

He notice something laying on his stand. He picked it up and saw a little note on there with a chain necklace and a little CD.

Dear Kanan,

This is quite weird to say but, I really care about. Your like a father to me and I am proud to be with you. You have made me feel better and to know that I'm not alone.

Love you dad,

Ezra...

Kanan was shocked. Ezra seen him as a father! He had tears or joy in his eyes. Ezra stirred and seen Kanan. "What's wrong?" He asked the sad Jedi.

Kanan hugged his Padawan close and spoke. "I love you son..." Ezra smiled and hugged Kanan back tight. "Love you to, dad...you saved my life..."
