(Leo pov)

I watch, helpless, as the Imperial shuttle and the Inquisitor leave, taking Ezra Bridger with them. Even though I'm positive that he likes my girlfriend, I know that we have to save him. That is, if the Imperials don't take us first.
I turn my head to Jessie and nod discreetly. She nods back slightly, and reaches for her lightsaber hanging on a stormtrooper's belt.

(Jessie pov)

At Leo's signal, I begin to reach for my lightsaber on the stormtrooper-that's holding me-'s belt. I make contact with the metal tube and carefully take it off the clip. I place the weapon against the stormtrooper's back and before he can emit surprise, activate the blade and stab him. I take Leo's lightsaber from the dead buckethead and toss it to him in the air. He grabs it and we both begin cutting down troopers.

(Emma pov)

I watch as Ezra is taken away by the Empire. By the Inquisitor that held me captive. By everything that I hate.
Kanan puts a hand on my shoulder. "It's okay, Emma," he says softly, comforting. "This isn't the first time. We'll get him back. I promise."
But I know something now. Something the Inquisitor told me when he was digging around in my mind. No one escapes the Empire alive, my dear.
And maybe I was the rare exception. But it won't be the same for Ezra. The Empire wants him too bad. I know that I won't see him again-at least, not the same way that he was-and it breaks my heart.
I turn to Kanan. "No. We can't. He's gone."
And then I turn and walk away as the rest of the Imperial troops retreat.
