Jyn Erso- Shiver (a)
"You cold?" You called across to the new member of your block, she was only dragged in a few hours ago and even in the blistering cold conditions on this hellhole of a planet, the staff clearly weren't paid enough to makes sure the prisoners had adequate clothing.
"I'm fine." She responded, her teeth chattering together. It was hard to hear her as she pressed herself up into the corner of the cell with nothing but her body heat and ripped thin clothes.
"Come on." You made sure that none of the guards were paying attention as you held a normally hidden blanket out into the central corridor. "Don't be stubborn! I can hear you shivering form over here just take it. Tenacity isn't going to keep you warm in here I'm afraid." She slowly edged towards the bars; each breath filled her room with an expanse of white smoke. "You don't have to talk about it, I don't have to talk about it. Just give it back to me if you're gone before I am."
Without saying a word, she reached her arm in between the bars and grabbed the patchy, ripped blanket, it wasn't much but it was a lot better than freezing to death.
"Not often I see another human in here... you are human aint ya?" She nodded whilst wrapping the tatty cloth around her back and returning to her position in the empty corner. "You must have done some pretty rough stuff for you to end up here." You looked to the decrepit cells to either side of her, each one filled with some of the most criminal beings famously known.
"I don't know." She tried to fidget with the blanket, but even for somebody of her small stature she couldn't cover too much of herself. "I didn't do anything that bad. I just tried to help a trader by alleviating him of some of his credits."
You struggled to see how such a small crime could end her in one of the highest security prisons this side of the solar system.
"That can not be everything." You pushed your face in between the bars, full to the brim of intrigue.
"Fine." She lifted the blanket from her head and strolled towards the bars herself. "There is also the fact that I've tried one too many times to start a rebellion."
"Yeah." You replied, sitting down on the stony bench. "That'll do it."
