A Tale Of Brothers (Preview)
"Rykil!" Alaki shouts as he sat up in a cold sweat and breathing deeply. He takes a sharp breath and closes his eyes. He swallows hard before getting out of bed and walking towards his master's room. Alaki was a Jedi Padawan he and his master were just coming back from a mission they had been assigned and he was having nightmares about his brother again.
"Master Rato?" He asks as he knocks on her door.
"Yes? What is it? " She asks him turning in her chair looking at him. She saw his face and felt the fear rolling off him. "What's wrong?" She asks him intently.
"I had a nightmare again...about my brother. He was trapped in endless darkness and he was hurt. I tried going to him but every time I got closer...he just vanished." Alaki explains forcing his voice to remain steady.
"Alaki, I know you are still in pain over the death of your brother but that was a long time ago. These dreams are just nightmares, let them go and trust in the force that everything will be fine." She says softly. "Try meditating and focusing on accepting the fact that he's passed on. It'll help you."
"I know master, but this felt so real. It was as if I was seeing him and he was really there." He replies. "I know it's impossible but sometimes I think I can still feel him in the force."
"Try meditating about this and when we get back to the temple we can talk to Master Ayith Cyn." She says. "Now, try either meditating or getting something to eat. Eating can often settle the nerves."
"Thank you master," he said leaving the room. As he walked down the hallway towards the messhall he sighs. She was right, he needed to let it go and move on.

Far away on a desert world a figure wearing dark clothes opens his eyes. He was sitting with his legs crossed and he his body was floating a few inches off the ground. He moves his legs and his body moves down to the ground. His feet land on the ground and he straightens up.
"Well?" Asks a voice behind him.
He turned to face the masked figure seated on the ground behind him and said, "I found him, he's heading back to the Jedi Temple on Corasant. They are close to the planet though."
"That is a problem. I can not let you go there, we must wait once again." They reply.
"Please. Darth Kazri, can't I just go and hid my connection to the force? I can do that and the Jedi won't be able to feel my presence." He says.
"I do know how much you wish to go but you must be patient." They reply. "I am sorry. Rykil."
Rykil nods slowly and sits back down. He looks up and over his shoulder when he heard footsteps. He sees the mandalorain known as Azdor Krast
"I can go there," Azdor says. "After all I am not a force user and I have been meaning to head that way anyway."
"You can?" Asks Rykil standing up quickly.
"Sure. I do owe you and in my book I find it very honorable that you want to get your brother back." He replies.
Rykil looked at Darth Kazri who nods and says, "Alright. Go. Yet be careful Azdor."
"I'm always careful and the kid should know what his brother is like now. I mean without weird force mojo." He replies leaving before anyone could answer.
Darth Kazri shakes his head and says, "That is it for now, take time to rest up since later today I would like to work more on your saber skills."
"Alright. I do have a question though," he says.
"Yes?" He asks.
"I know I have a lightsaber but I want a weapon that I feel more of a connection too. Something that is unique and has more...feel to it." Rykil says.
"I see. I have some ideas of a better weapon but that's for later. Now, rest." Darth Kazri says. The young Sith nods and heads into the temple.
