Winter smiled as she put on her skates, she looked over at Marr'ad who was having slight trouble. "Need help?" Called Winter. Marr'ad looked up and said, "No. I am good." She just looked at him and smiled. She stood up and walked over and bent down. "It goes like this," She said trying them. 

"Oh." He said grinning lopsidedly. She smiled and stood up. Marr'ad also stood wobbled a little and they began walking. Suddenly there was a loud thud they both turned and saw Mira laying on the floor with Silver both were laughing. 

"You two okay?" Asked Winter.

"Yep!" Said Mira laughing as she tried to stand up but Silver pulled her bag down to the soft snow. 

"Let's get going," Said Marr'ad. Winter nodded and they both began to the lake the was frozen solid in ice. Winter stepped on it and gently moved forward with Marr'ad. They just skated on the ice peacefully and happily. Then Mira and Silver came on, Silver lost his balance and fell bringing down Mira with him. Mira was laying on top of Silver, "You did that on purpose." She said giggling.

"Yup!" He said grinning.

"You're despicable!" She said laughing.

"I know," He said. Mira smiled and got up and helped Silver get up.  

She began to skate and Silver tried to but fell. "You have skated before...have you?" Mira asked. 

"Uh...Nope." He said giving her a smile. 

"Well, I am going to have to teach you then." She said pulling him up. She then began teaching him the basics of skating. He fell a few times, every time he brought Mira down with him. Which ended up in both of them laughing. 

Winter and Marr'ad just watched off to the side. Winter just leaned her hand on his shoulder and he pulled her into a kiss. She kissed back and just hugged them and cuddled closely. However, unknown the any of them. Two figures were sitting in a tree snickering, they both had two buckets of snow. They were just about to throw the snow on Marr'ad, Winter, Mira, and Silver. But suddenly they heard a snap. They looked at each other, they both thought the same thing. 'Uh oh,' Then the branched they sat on snapped and they fell on the ice. However, when they hit the ice it broke and they fell right in. 

"COLD!" Shouted Bookie and Boogie at the same time. They climbed out and they both were shivering cold and dripping with ice cold water. 

"We should get you two back to the cabin," Said Winer. They just replied with a sneeze. Marr'ad helped them off the ice and Winter used her powers to fix the whole in the ice. After they took off their skates they all began heading back to the cabin.

Back at the cabin

Bookie and Boogie were both wrapped in a large blanket with hot chocolate that Winter made. Jessica was standing in front of them with her arms folded and she was yelling at them for being so careless and stupid. Yet every time they tried to talk she just snapped at them to close their mouths. They did and when she was finished she just walked over to Slicer and said, "Okay, now I am ready to go." 

"Alright," He said with a smile and they both left to go skiing. 

Winter sighed and sat down and she looked over and Bookie and Boogie who were cuddling togeather. Marr'ad sat next to her and pulled her close to him, she smiled and cuddled closer. Mira and Silver were in the other room, Mira was playing her guitar and singing. Silver was just leaning against her shoulder smiling happily.

However unknown to everyone there was a small group of five at the top of a ridge. One of them had a cigaret in his mouth, they took it out and blew a puff of smoke he then dropped it on the snow and put it out with his heel. 

"Ok, guys. Let's go." He said putting on his helmet and getting on his speeder. Three of them began heading towards the house the other two began heading towards where Slicer and Jessica were.
