"SHROUD!" Shouted Rimarger as Shroud hits the ground gripping her side. He ran over to her side and held her. "Shroud," He said holding her. 

She coughs and looks up at him, "I'm sorry...Rimarger..." She coughs. "Shroud." He says pulling off her helmet. Her face was strained in pain.

"Please, Shroud." He said holding her his hands getting stained with blood from the shot that ripped through her. "Come one stay with me." He begs. With one hand she moves off his helmet and kisses him. "I love you Rimarger. I always will." She says softly. 

"Shroud...don't..." He replied holding her. She smiles at him gently and her eyes fluttered close and her heart beat slowly stops. Rimarger hears it stop and gently lays her down on the bloodstained battlefield. He slid out a small box and puts it her hand and then slides her helmet back on. He stands up and blinks the tears out of his eyes. He turns and runs back into the battlefield. 

"Rimarger! Where is Shroud?" Asks Runner looking at him as the battle rages around them. "She's dead.." He replies hiding the tears and bitterness in his voice. Suddenly the battle begins to hold since the droids begin to draw back because of harsh rain starts to fall. The small group of clones moves back to where the commander's body lay still and unmoving. 

"We should bury her," Says Saber softly. His voice had a sadness to it. The others nod slowly and dig a hole and lay her in. Rimarger stands off to the side it hurt too much to stand there as they bury the love of his life. He walks away and lets the tears fall down his face but he knew one thing. The blast came from behind her, not in front. There were no droids behind them. Shroud wasn't killed in battle. She was murdered and he swore that he'll find her killer and make them pay. Unless....her killer got to him first.
