A280 battle rifle: a rifle for hunting

Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor, colored Raven [yes it is a color] and matte green [I like the colors individually so sue me. Also I am partially colorblind so I will be wrong with colors]

 The blasters have been modified to use Kyber Crystals for an alternative ammo type.

Droid:

R2-KT; trusted partner throughout training and jedi career. Faithful copilot, confidante, and supporter, all wrapped in a motherly package. [She's a pink R2-D2]

POV: Velrith

I was flying around the outer rim looking for a place to lay low and away from the Separatists, or the Sith as they now call themselves. "KT, any calls from the Jedi?" I asked as she responded with her usual beeps and whistles. "I know that the troops have been sending out message calling the Jedi back to Coruscant, but it's a trap." KT then went crazy with alerts from the few remaining Jedi. I then saw a planet orbiting two suns. "KT, does that planet have any signs of life on it?" KT continued to give off he beeps and whistles as I flew towards the planets surface.

When I landed on the surface of the planet, I was greeted with a sea of sand, and a small mountain range in the background a couple clicks away. "KT, run a lifescan, see of there are any people near the mountain range." A few seconds later KT responded in her usual manner. "So they're on the other side, but the mountains are partially hollow. Might make a shelter in there." KT then left my starfighter to zap my leg while loudly whistling. "Ow!" I said as my knee buckled from the shock, "I know that is a dumb idea, but it's the only idea we have. We need to lay low. Now hop back in the starfighter and we'll check out the caves."

I then hoped back in my starfighter and flew towards the mountainside, and seeing a large cave, flew inside and parked it facing the entrance. I pulled out my light dagger and ignited it, illuminating the cave around me. KT whistled with a nervous cry as I saw the silhouettes of large creatures that roared from the blue light now in their home. "Wrong empty cave I see." I said as KT started her whistling again. "I know a cave is not considered empty if there are inhabitants, why do you think I said 'wrong' cave?" As I said that, one of the creatures stepped forward, appearing to look like a bear with feathers on its front legs.

As KT continued to give me a scolding I turned around to face her, only to have the creature pounce at me. Using the force I stopped the beast from reaching me and pushing it back. "I'm sorry for intruding but I need somewhere to stay." I said using the force to have the creatures stand down, "I won't ask you to leave, but I ask that you accept me. I have nowhere else to run."

Alright, I know this is short, but it's the first chapter, and it's the middle of final exams and time is very limited. I also have 5 or six new books in the works at the moment and a big one in the works that won't come out for a while.
