You smile down at Finn. He's so cute when he' sleeping. You kiss his forehead, then get up and make breakfast. You leave a note for Finn by the medium sized stack of pancakes telling him where you'll be. Then you go meet Rey by the Falcon.

In two weeks, it will be your and Finn's third aniversary. You met while you were in stormtrooper training as kids. You looked out for each other and grew closer as you grew taller. When he got out and you didn't, you both swore you'd find each other again. And you did. After Rey got captured you helped her escape. You were reunited with Finn. He named you (Y/N), and you confessed your feelings for each other.

Because of the war, you didn't get to celebrate your anniversary the past two years. But this year, you're determined to make it special. That's why you're meeting Rey. You have an idea, but you want to run it by her to see if it's a good one.

"Hi, (Y/N)," Rey greets you.

"Hey," you answer.

"So, what's this big plan Finn's not allowed to hear?"

"Well, this year Gor our anniversary...." You lay out the plan for Rey. After you beat the First Order, there was a huge party. Food, dancing, drinking. There had been deviled eggs, because what's a party without deviled eggs? It had been the first time you and Finn had tried them, and Finn was over the moon. He loooooovved them. There was also a yummy chocolate cake with raspberry frosting.

You want to make both for Finn. You'll lead him to your room, and everything will be there, and you'll eat together. The one thing to you haven't figured out yet is how to distract him.

"Rose said there's a carnival on Dantooine on your anniversary. Maybe you could try that," Rey suggests.

"What's a carnival?"

"I don't know. Let's ask Poe."

A very annoyed Poe explained carnivals to you two sweet babies. Then he threatened to set Chewie on you if you bothered him at work again. It's perfect. New food to try, a huge wheel that carried you high enough to touch the sky, and loads of games, including one where you could earn a pet fish! You and Rey agree to meet tomorrow to work more out.

When you get home, Finn tackles you in a hug and covers your face in kisses. "I missed you," he says. "I didn't see you all day, so I didn't get to to thank you for the pancakes. Thank you." You smile and kiss his nose.

"You're welcome." You cuddle on the floor for a few minutes before getting up to eat dinner.

"Sooooo...." You raise your eyebrows at Finn. He blushes a bit. "Poe said that there's going to be a carnival on Dantooine in two weeks. It sounds really cool. There'll be food and games and this thing called a Ferris Wheel, which is a big wheel that carries you up really high so you can see everything. I figured, since we didn't really have time to do that kind of thing, what with being kidnapped as kids and forced to fight, then escaping and then the war--"

"Do you want to go together?" Finn nods excitedly.

"Yes, yes, yes!" You laugh. Finn is just so adorably awkward. You love him so much.

Your trip to the grocery store goes great. Finn doesn't ask about the paprika with a shakey lid even though you have a jar at home already, or the extra eggs and stick butter. He does grab some stuff and check out without you, though. When you ask about it, he refuses to tell you, insisting that it's a surprise.

On the big day, Finn goes to Poe's house while Rey comes over to yours to help you bake/ cook. First, you bake the cakes and make the frosting, since the cakes need to cool for a while before you ice them. Then, you boil the eggs, cut them, and make the filling with the yolks. Then comes the hard part: filling them. You and Rey have to eat like, ten because they keep breaking and falling off of the special serving tray thing for deviled eggs. There's enough that you may have leftovers, though.

Icing the cake is fun. You have the raspberry buttercream and a white writing icing. You write a cute third anniversary message on the cake after you put the raspberry on. Then, everything's done. You hug Rey tightly and thank her for everything. You go pick up Finn from Poe's while she decorates thr apartment.

*Time Skip*

You smile at Finn, who is hugging the huge stuffed bear you won him playing balloon darts. No fish, unfortunately. "Close your eyes," you both say at the same time. You frown at each other.

"What?"

"Umm...." You open the door. Poe and Rey are standing there grinning at you. "Surprise," they say.

"You had the same idea," Poe says.

"How was the carnival," Rey asks. You all start laughing and hugging each other. On the table is (favorite meal), along with the deviled eggs and chocolate raspberry cake.

"Bye." Rey and Poe leave to give you space. "Happy anniversary." You and Finn smile at each other. He walks to the table and pulls out a chair for you.

"M'lady," he says, making you both giggle. You sit down together and eat. After dinner, you cuddle in bed and watch a movie.

As you fall asleep, Finn kisses your head and murmurs, "Happy anniversary."

"Happy anniversary. Love you."

"Love you, too."

You wake up in each other's arms, and stay like that for a long time.
