Unfinished Businesss

Y/N shoos the medical droids off as they continue to poke and prod her to get rid of the excess metal.

"Unless you plan on giving me a good prosthetic, that's enough prodding!" Y/N hisses.

"They are only trying to help, kid." Hunter smirks.

Y/N growls, "I only trust people. I don't care what kind, Wookie, human, Togruta, Klingon, clone, I don't care. I don't like robots that much. By the way, do you think you could get Tech to make me a better prosthetic than this..." She holds up the screwdriver hand, "... Thing? I'll happily have the hacking part added, but make it a finger or thumb! I can't even pick up fruit anymore without feeling weird. Add a flamethrower at least! Or a gun!"

Hunter shrugs, "I'll see what I can do, kid."

"Thanks." Y/N smiles.

***

While Y/N puts some unused clone armour on, she picks up a brush and walks over to a mirror, seeing what she looks like for the first time since she got here. Her hair in patches where the tubes they plugged into her weren't.

"They couldn't have made me bald, could they?" Y/N mutters.

She brushes her hair into a side mohawk kind of style, glad they left a lot of hair on her head.

(Like this, but to the side:)

Y/N sighs after styling her hair, looking down at her hands. The Separatists not only became a reality but tore her apart. Now she's like a space pirate, minus the eyepatch. She'll never be able to feel her hair with her right hand anymore, it'll be impossible to feel anything with her right hand. Y/N goes to punch the mirror when she freezes, mere inches away from the mirror, her screwdriver hand the one that started flying. She sighs, falling to the ground, hugging her knees.

"Great. I can't even punch anymore. I'm a freak. Is this how Echo feels?" Y/N mutters, glaring at her right prosthetic as her heart breaks.

"You're still Y/N, aren't you?" A voice inside her head asks, which she assumes is her inner voice.

Y/N sighs, "How can I be? I don't even know what I'm supposed to be anymore. I don't even have a destiny."

"Because you're Y/N L/N. The girl that lights fires in the backyard and shoves her hand in it for fun with her sisters! The girl that greets every customer with a smile, brightening their day when your coworkers don't put in the effort! The girl that will defend the clones as soon as someone insults them for being clones! You don't have a destiny because you have to make it yourself! You're scared, I know, but you know that fear is but the precursor to valour! That to strive and triumph in the face of fear is what it means to be a hero. Don't think, become! You make your own destiny! You can change their destiny!"

Y/N sighs, starting to sing softly.

"A million thoughts in my head
Should I let my heart keep listening?
'Cause up 'til now I've walked the line
Nothing lost, but something missing

I can't decide
What's wrong, what's right
Which way should I go?

If only I knew what my heart was telling me
Don't know what I'm feeling
Is this just a dream?
Ah, oh, yeah
If only I could read the signs in front of me
I could find the way to who I'm meant to be
Ah, oh, if only
If only
If only

Every step, every word
With every hour I am falling in
To something new, something brave
To someone I,
I have never been"

She looks down at her hands, clenching her left hand as tears start to fall from her eyes, bouncing on the floor.

"I can't decide
What's wrong, what's right
Which way should I go?

If only I knew what my heart was telling me
Don't know what I'm feeling
Is this just a dream?
Ah, oh, yeah
If only I could read the signs in front of me
I could find the way to who I'm meant to be
Ah, oh, if only
Yeah"

If only someone knew what she was feeling. She's no soldier. She's just a teen. If only someone could comfort her, tell her everything's gonna be alright... But no one will. Y/N is alone. What if they knew the truth?

"Am I crazy?
Maybe
It could happen
Yeah
Will you
Still be
With me
When the magic's all run out?

If only I knew what my heart was telling me
Don't know what I'm feeling
Is this just a dream?
Ah, oh
If only I could read the signs in front of me
I could find the way to who I'm meant to be
Ah, oh

If only, yeah
If only, yeah
If only, yeah
If only, yeah
If only
If only..."

Y/N gets up, drying her tears.

"Save tears for those that deserve them, N/N." Y/N whispers, staring at her reflection, putting on a poker face and walking out, not realising someone was watching her break down.

***

Y/N and Echo walk into the conference room, armour on their bodies.

"We have more than a dozen active battlefronts on Anaxes, and we are losing nearly every one. But if Admiral Trench can no longer anticipate our moves, we now have the opportunity to retake the planet." Windu frowns.

"We could improve your chances." Echo announces.

Rex frowns, "Excuse me, generals." He then walks over to Y/N and Echo. "Echo, I'm sorry, but I just don't think you're ready for battle yet. And, kid, you're still a kid. You can't go out on the battlefield."

Normally when Rex speaks about a mission or is telling someone no, his face portrays little emotion, or at best, irritation, but as Y/N looks in the trooper's eyes, they seem more... Broken, as of someone just took a childhood toy and threw it in the fire. He didn't look like that in the original episode... Y/N quickly pushes those thoughts out of her mind and sets it on the task at hand.

"Listen, Captain, no disrespect meant, but we have the most strategical know-how about their plans. We're going." Y/N frowns.

Echo nods, "I am not a liability, Rex. I'm the best chance we have to take back Anaxes."

"We're the best chance, you mean. I'm not staying off this mission." Y/N smirks.

"If the trooper and kid have a plan, I'd like to hear it." Windu announces.

Echo asks, "May I?"

Y/N drags him along, nodding at Obi-wan and Windu in respect. Echo plugs into the holotable, revealing his plan.

"While Master Windu leads a team to retake the assembly complex," Echo starts.

"The Bad Batch will escort us into Trench's new comm vault, which, according to current intel, is now located on this Separatist Dreadnought above Anaxes." Y/N smirks as the hologram appears. "Once we're plugged in, we can feed Trench strategies."

Echo finishes, "But this time, you'll know every move before he makes it."

"And you are certain that if we get you on board that ship, that you can convince Trench's army to do what you want?" Windu asks.

Y/N nods, "Exactly."

Echo sighs, "Unfortunately, we've been doing this for a while, but this time we can help bring about a Republic victory instead of a defeat."

***

Y/N smiles as she walks to the ship when she hears the Bad Batch chattering with Rex.

"Still not sure how we're gonna land on that ship." Tech frowns.

Rex answers, "Don't worry. Echo and the kid say they've got a plan."

"That makes me feel so much better." Tech sasses.

Y/N sighs, realising what he means.

"What do you mean by that?" Rex asks.

Tech replies, "To be blunt, their minds belonged to the Separatists until we unplugged them. We don't really know where their loyalties lie."

Y/N picks up a helmet, putting it on before taking it off again, dissatisfied with it. Must be the mohawk. Maybe she'll cut her hair later.

"Well, I know where Echo's lie. Now get moving."

Y/N sighs, realising they may not ever trust her. She just came out of nowhere. They have no reason to trust her.

"Stop thinking like that, N/N! You're gonna be fine. Just stop caring what they think and do that plan you've seen so many times. They'll trust you like they trust Echo!" her inner voice exclaims.

Y/N walks up to the ship only to have Rex stop her.

"I think it's better if you stay here, kid." Rex frowns.

Y/N asks, "What? Why? I have the same info and plan as Echo, with a bit more fun added into it! I'm going!"

Rex frowns, "Either you stay on the ship when we land or you stay here. I'm putting my foot down."

"Is that so?" Y/N smirks, cracking her neck left and right, quickly reading annoyance run across Rex's face.

***

The clones, Anakin, and Y/N sit inside the ship, awkward silence as Y/N wears a smug grin as Rex tries not to look at her. This oddly reminds her of Dragons, Race To The Edge, where Hiccup said he was putting his foot down to Astrid and she basically crushed the foot. At least now Rex knows that when Y/N wants something, she'll get it by any means necessary.

"Why did we have to take the brat?" Crosshair asks.

Y/N smirks, "Because I'm intelligent and know stuff. All you have to do, SkinnyMcTallface, is shoot stuff."

"What did you call me?" He asks, getting in her face.

Y/N stares back into his eyes, not intimidated as she retorts, "Oh, just a skinny little runt. Oh, wait, that's the Jawa calling the Ewok short. But who am I to complain? I'm malnourished. What's your excuse for being so skinny?"

Wrecker demands, interrupting their banter, "Please tell me we are blowing something up."

"Sorry, Wrecker, this is strictly stealth." Anakin smirks.

Wrecker groans, "I hate that word."

Y/N narrows her eyes at Wrecker's scar along the side of his face, completely forgetting her conversation with Crosshair. The scar oddly looks like someone splashed water on his head, then it melted into his head like acid. He still has his ear, but it's burned, kind of melded into his head. It looks terrifying and oddly fascinating at the same time.

"Got your eye on something, kid?" Anakin asks.

"Scars tell fascinating stories. Just giving my mind something to do while waiting for my job." Y/N shrugs.

"Echo, you're up." Anakin orders.

Echo nods, "Don't worry. As soon as I plug in, I'll send a signal to the command ship."

"What type of signal are you gonna send?" Hunter asks. "Nothing that'll give us away, right?"

Y/N chuckles, "A masking type of signal. Duh. Those clankers are dumber than a chair. And I've seen some pretty intelligent chairs. As far as the droids are concerned, we'll just be another one of their ships, coming in for a landing."

"The kid's correct. That is my plan." Echo nods.

Hunter frowns, "And the Regs think we take risks."

"Eh, I've done dumber." Y/N shrugs, stretching her left arm over her back as Tech looks at her, seemingly trying to read her.

After a while, Echo announces, "Sending signal... Now."

"Roger, roger, Shuttle TC-159. You may approach and land."

Y/N shrugs, "What'd I tell ya?"

Wrecker groans, "I still wanna blow it up."

"Me too, big guy. I wanna see it burn through the sky." Y/N sighs.

"I have a feeling you'll get your chance." Tech frowns.

Y/N smiles, "Thanks for the vote of confidence, Nerd."

He turns to her, seeing no hostility in her face with the nickname. Just a small bit of kindness before she turns away, muttering to herself. He lands the ship, the group getting ready to board.

***

The group walks through the ship stealthily, Y/N trying to stay away from reflective surfaces. They finally make it to a comm vault. Y/N and Echo exchange glances, one more mischievous than the other. Echo looks around for a moment, Y/N leaning against the port nonchalantly, playing with her yoyo. She had replaced the string with a wire earlier while boarding the ship.

"Tech, can you rig an interface?" Echo asks.

Tech frowns, "I assume that's a rhetorical question."

"It is. He should've said, "May you please rig an interface"." Y/N smirks.

Everyone looks at Y/N in shock.

"What? Proper grammar and manners are important 55% of the time."

"We should make sure this comm vault has no other entrances." Echo orders.

Anakin nods, "I'm on it."

Y/N and Echo shove their hacking arms into the port, both their eyes widening for a moment as they connect.

"All right. I have access to everything, and good timing." Echo frowns.

Y/N nods, "We've just scanned a strategy request Trench sent to the Techno Union. Tech, make sure our signal seems like we originating from Skako, or they might find us."

Tech and Rex stare at Y/N in shock.

"I can't see anything when I'm concentrating like this, guys. It's like watching two screens, one is the stuff in here and the other is what's happening around my body. I assume you're dumbfounded because I'm not hearing typing, Tech. Stop gawking and start tapping." Y/N frowns, then adds as an afterthought, "Please."

After a few minutes, the two send their strategy. Trench complies, sending orders to the droids.

Tech announces, "I'm intercepting a transmission. Trench is ordering all his droids to-"

Y/N interrupts, "To go against Obi-Wan, Windu, and the clones over in the assembly complex. We told him to. Chillax Hunter, I can feel your glare's heat on my back. Don't get your knickers in a twist. I'm not trying to hang noodles on your ears. Sure, your forces will be vastly outnumbered, but only for a few moments. We're gonna send out a damn powerful feedback pulse, shutting down all the droids at once. Simple."

Y/N can practically feel the clone's faces shifting to all sorts of confused. Must've been the idioms. They probably don't know the word "knickers".

Tech asks, "How do we know there what you're really going to do?"

Rex sighs, "We have to trust them."

Anakin nods, "Rex is right. Echo, Y/N. We're all counting on you."

"We know. No pressure or anything." Y/N shrugs.

The two concentrate on their work, supporting their own heads with their real hands.

"Master Windu, I know this is gonna sound crazy, but it's about to get a little more crowded where you are." Anakin announces into his comm.

Y/N drowns out the noise, concentrating with Echo.
"Come on, just a few more droids."
Suddenly, the two cyborgs lock eyes, nodding. They concentrate, electricity shooting up the comm pole, which short circuits the droids.

"That's what they get for trying to break into my brain!" Y/N smirks.

Y/N barely hears Windu saying something to Anakin through the comms, but she ignores it.

"We're on our way back to base." Anakin smiles.

"May the Force be with you." Windu nods.

Anakin smiles, "Good job Echo."

Y/N exclaims, "What am I? Chopped liver?"

"And you, kid." Anakin chuckles.

Hunter frowns, "Well, I guess you actually are on our side."

Y/N chuckles, "Was there ever any doubt?" Tech goes to say something when Y/N glares, "Don't answer that, Brainiac."

Echo chuckles, "Well, thanks."

Rex smirks, "Come on, guys. Unplug and let's get out of here."

Y/N frowns, "Something's wrong... Wait, Echo, are you getting this?"

Echo nods, "I just scanned an order from Trench. He's just activated a countdown. There's a bomb hidden in the assembly complex!"

Y/N growls, "But it's big enough to wipe out most, if not all, of Anaxas!"

Anakin asks, "Can you stop it?"

Echo nods, "We can try."

Y/N shakes her head, her eyes revealing her anger as she unplugs from the machine, "Not me. I'm getting the countdown to stop from the source with Skywalker."

Hunter exclaims, "Wait, kid-"

Y/N turns angrily, venom dripping from every word as she ties her yoyo around her right arm, "I've been tortured by the guys this guy hired, so he could have a sick pleasure in watching your Republic burn while his hired men had a sick pleasure in watching me suffer like an animal. Now it's time he paid for his crimes against humanity. And if revenge comes into play, well... it's an added bonus. I am going, and no one is going to stop me, because I'm now stronger than I ever was before... And I need Skywalker's lightsaber because I still don't have a flamethrower attached to my arm yet."

She goes to walk away, when she stops, "Oh, the first part of the bomb code is three, one, eight."

***

(Trigger warning. Basically, some horror is about to happen. Enjoy going psycho for a few minutes!)

Y/N opens the bridge door, revealing two very angry humans to the spider cyborg and droids.

"Guess who?" Y/N singsongs, holding her prosthetic up, whirring it.

She picks up the closest droid, yelling "Yeet!" As she throws it into the next closest droid as Anakin deals with the others. Anakin holds his lightsaber to Trench's neck.

Anakin orders, "Tell me the sequence to disarm the bomb!"

Trench growls, "Never! Dooku would kill me for losing Anaxes!"

Y/N grabs Anakin's Lightsaber and slashes the spider's left arms off, "Skywalker might not be allowed to kill you, but I'm not a freaking Jedi, so I will kill you, and you, Trench, have ticked me off so much that if I was Force-sensitive, you'd be dead because of the Force because of what your hired men, the Techno Union, did to me! Look what part of your Algorithm is! There's no way in Malachor that I'm letting it happen again. Now, let's play a little game I like to call, "Which Body Part Will Trench Lose Next?" I'm really liking the look of those other arms, but maybe it could be your legs, as I only have one, and you don't seem to be using them. Although, I really want to make your eyes into matching earrings."

Trench turns to Anakin in fear, but Anakin shrugs. Y/N smirks, reciting the lyrics to one of the most well-known songs on Earth.

"You made me this! But that doesn't matter anymore. I was weak before, but because of you, I became this!
The world moves on, another day another drama,
but not for me, not for me,
all I think about is karma!
And then the world moves on, but one thing's for sure!
Maybe I got mine, but you'll all get yours!
I got smarter, I got harder in the nick of time.
Honey, I rose up from the dead,
I do it all the time.
I got a list of names,
and yours is in red, underlined!
I check it once,
then I check it twice, oh!" She then cuts off one of Trench's other arms. "Ooh!
Look what you made me do!
Look what you made me do.
Look what you just made me do.
Look what you just made me-" A leg chopped off, "Ooh!
Look what you made me do.
Look-"

"Alright! The number is seven! It's seven! Just stop this madwoman!" Trench panics.

Y/N smiles sweetly before handing the Lightsaber back to Anakin, "Thank you for your compliance, darling. Ani, contact Windu."

Anakin complies, telling Windu the last number while holding the Lightsaber to Trench's neck.

"Good work, Skywalker, the bomb has been disarmed." Windu announces.

"Actually, this was Y/N that persuaded him to give us the code." Anakin frowns.

"How?"

Y/N smirks, "Trade Secret!"

Trench picks up his staff and charges it with electricity and goes to hit Y/N when she bends down and backwards, grabs the staff, taking it out of his hands, smashing it on the floor.

"Don't test me, b****! I have the power of God and Anime on my side! Yahhhhhh!" Y/N screams before driving the staff into Trench's heart, then wrapping her yoyo around his neck and tightening it until he stops moving. "Well, that's gonna haunt my conscience for the next few months."

She turns to Anakin, making a keep silent sign to him. Her eyes then land on his comm, which is flashing.

"Was that on the whole time while I was yelling and killing him?" Y/N pales.

Anakin nods just as he turns it off and asks, "What is Anime?"

Y/N mutters, "Kill me now."

Anakin chuckles at her when he looks around, touching buttons as he finds the self destruct detonator.

"Wrecker's gonna love this." Anakin smirks as he grabs Y/N's hand, dragging her away from Trench's body.

"But I wanted to tear off his fur to make myself a winter coat!"

***

Y/N and Anakin see the clones.

"Hope you weren't waiting on us." Anakin smirks.

Hunter frowns, "Now we're just missing Crosshair."

Y/N counts down, "Three, two, one, there he is."
She points into the hallway with a smug smirk and eyes closed just as Crosshair appears, throwing mirrors onto the walls as droids follow him.

"You missed me? How touching." Crosshair smirks.

Y/N replies, "You certainly won't."

Crosshair aims, then shoots twice, the bullets bouncing off the mirrors and taking down all the droids. As soon as the last droid falls to the ground, Y/N makes a low impressed whistle.

"Where can I get some of those?" Y/N asks.

Wrecker lifts up his helmet and gapes in shock and sadness.

Hunter smirks, "Relax, Wrecker. You'll top him next time."

Crosshair teases, "No, he won't!"

Wrecker pouts, putting his helmet back on, and starts crying. Y/N chuckles.

***

On the ship, after leaving the big ship, Tech turns to Y/N, a puzzled look on his face. Y/N ignores it for a while, looking out the window, a focused look on her face.

"I've got a present for you, Wrecker." Anakin smirks.

Wrecker asks, "Oh, seriously? I get to blow it up? The whole stinking thing?"

Y/N nods, "Yup! Now hurry up! I really wanna watch!"

Wrecker cries, "This is the happiest day of my life."

Y/N smirks as the ship blows up, taking out the other two ships as well, the fire reflecting off her E/C eyes, licking around her eyes.

"Burn in hell, freaks." She smiles, going back to her seat.

Tech frowns, "Y/N, now that you're not preoccupied with watching explosions, I have a question I'm sure we'd all like an answer to."

Y/N shrugs, "Go ahead."

"What is anime?"

Y/N goes silent and stiff, an embarrassed look going over her face.

"You said, and I quote, "I have the power of god and anime on my side". You said it with such conviction, and I am curious." Tech explains.

After an awkward silence, Y/N's face redder than a ruby, she finally cracks.

Y/N groans, "Fine! This is gonna be held over my head for a long time after this. Um, you know entertainment programmes? Anime is... an animation entertainment programme from my planet..."

Everyone exchanges confused glances as Y/N rubs the back of her neck.

"Entertainment?" Crosshair asks.

Y/N nods, "Yeah, and in almost every Anime there's someone who can make a giant blast of energy out of their hands, and almost all humans on my planet put full faith in the belief that anime is actually powerful, and have made that an actual battle cry. Only with more... colourful words that I am above saying. There are a lot of weird words we used on our planet, but I'm not about to go through the dictionary in my head of our weirdest battle cries."

Suddenly, Wrecker bursts out laughing, almost everyone following suit.

"I like her!" Wrecker laughs.

"Shut up." Y/N mutters.

"Where is your planet anyway, kid?" Hunter asks.

Y/N stiffens for a moment, her heartbeat speeding up before she gets up as it gets harder to breathe.

"Would you excuse me for a moment, gentlemen?" Y/N squeaks out, trying to keep her breathing normal.

She walks into a small compartment, closing the door before punching it repeatedly.
Where is her planet? How can she answer that if she doesn't know? How can she explain that it might not exist? That she might not ever go home? That she'll never see her family again?
She stops punching, her breathing back to normal as she walks back to the men.

"I don't know, Hunter. I don't know where my planet is. Or if it even still exists, if it ever did. If it does, you might call it by a different name." Y/N sighs.

That gets everyone's attention. Y/N sits down, preparing for the inevitable onslaught of questions.

Tech frowns, "Can you describe it? It might be in a database somewhere."

Y/N nods, "Sure. We called it Earth, or Terra. I think 70 or 80% of the planet is covered by water. Humans are the dominating species, but we speak thousands of languages you may not know. There are a few stories as to why we have thousands of languages when we're the only species that seems at least partially intelligent. But the only one coming to mind is the tower of Babel, which we'll get to later. But, in short, Earth is a death planet. Everything's trying to kill us."

Everyone stares in confusion.

"We have trillions of species of insects, each more dangerous than the last. I'm still trying to forget about the Murder Hornets. One continent, Australia, is sweltering hot and holds the most of our dangerous and bizarre animals, including a mammal that has webbed feet, lives in water, has a strange bill, lays eggs, and has a poison tip on its ankles. We call it the Platypus. Another continent, just a little bit south of Australia is freezing cold, like, blinding blizzard every second of the day cold. One Generation, we're destroying our ecosystem, then the next, we're all scrambling to fix it. It's barbaric, but hey, it's home. By all logic, I shouldn't even be here. We haven't even gotten into space, haven't gotten people past our moon. We theorise about life beyond the stars, but we haven't had actual proof. Anyone out there probably saw us and said, "Nope. They'll just ruin space for us." I shouldn't be here because we don't have the tech to get a human anywhere away from Earth. I just remember something appearing in my house, a wormhole or portal of some kind, and suddenly, I was on Skako. Like teleportation."

Y/N pauses.

Anakin asks, "Why did they make you part of their algorithm, then?"

"Because I knew that a clone was stuck in there." Y/N frowns, clenching her fist against her knee. "I knew what planet I was on, I knew his name! I knew what planet Echo was made on. Don't ask me how I knew, I just knew. I just know stuff, but I couldn't tell you why or how. I knew what would've happened if I weren't there! I know part of the future, I know quite a bit of the past, I know about the Force, I know things I logically shouldn't! I just..."

Y/N sighs, cradling her head in her hand. Wrecker puts his hand on her shoulder in an awkward attempt of comfort.

"The only thing I don't really know is what I'm doing here. Maybe I'm supposed to stop something from happening. Maybe I'm supposed to help protect someone, maybe, maybe, maybe! But the more I think about it, the more questions I'm left with, and none of them have answers. And the more I miss my family. I'll probably never go home, probably never see them again..."

Y/N pulls her knees up to her chest, burying her face in her knees as everyone stares in shock.

***

After helping Echo, the group meets outside the ship, Y/N just standing awkwardly to the side writing on a piece of paper as Windu and Obi-Wan walk to them. She shoves the paper into her back pocket.

"Commander Rex, Corporal Echo, Clone Force 99, and Miss L/N." Windu frowns.

Y/N nods, keeping a stoic face as Windu speaks to the entire group.

"You've all done a great service to the Republic. Thanks to your courage and effort, Republic shipyards will soon be up and running again." Windu nods before starting to walk away.

Obi-wan smirks, "You've got some medals coming your way."

Y/N scoffs, not liking that idea.

"Miss L/N, could you join us for a moment?" Obi-wan asks.

Y/N swallows, but nods, following Obi-wan to Windu. Windu turns to Y/N.

"I've heard from Skywalker that you're from an undeveloped, yet dangerous planet, and you don't know where it is." Windu frowns.

Y/N hesitates, "That's one way of putting it."

Windu then frowns, "You also told Anakin that you "just know" things."

"I know bits and pieces. I saw what happened to a good Jedi that you know, I know a story of a Sith that wasn't all bad and used his powers to keep his loved ones alive. I know what happened to the Domino Squad. I even know what can happen if you combine a Sith Holocron and a Jedi Holocron. What I don't know is where I fit into this." Y/N sighs.

"When you know things, is it like a vision?" Obi-wan asks.

Y/N shrugs, "I've never had one before, but I believe so. If you want to do a midi-chlorian count to see if I have the Force, just ask. However, I'm pretty sure I'm too old to be trained as a Jedi anyway. And I'm not really good enough to be a Jedi, anyway. Too much insanity in my head... And I kind of... Killed Trench before the ship exploded... And I keep threatening my enemies organs."

Obi-wan widens his eyes in shock.

"What makes you think-"

"Qui-gon took some of Anakin's blood to do a midi-chlorian count, didn't he?" Y/N shrugs before covering her mouth. "Oops. I shouldn't know that information..."

The Jedi Knights look at Y/N, speechless for a moment while she repeatedly looks back to the Bad Batch and back to the masters.

"Why do you keep turning around?" Obi-wan asks.

Y/N frowns, thinking, "Maybe Hunter can hear me with that enhanced hearing of his... Worth a shot."

Y/N shrugs, "I'm... worried, I guess. I might not see them again. They remind me of my home. They feel... Normal. I'm... drawn to them. They remind me of my own family. They're the coolest guys I've ever met. I want to be with them, but I don't want to burden them. Besides, they're clones, and I'm... Not. I probably would be just in their way. I'm going to miss them... Even Crosshair. He reminds me of my short-tempered sister."

Someone puts their hand on Y/N's shoulder, making her jump in surprise, turning to the owner of the hand. She blinks in shock, seeing all the Bad Batch behind her plus Echo, Hunter's hand on her shoulder.

"Two questions. One, how'd you get over here so fast? Two, how much of that did you guys hear?" Y/N asks, feeling embarrassed they all heard it.

"Enough." Crosshair answers.

Y/N sighs, "I pour out my feelings to Jedi and the coolest batch of clones ends up overhearing. How mortifying."

Wrecker asks, "You think we're the coolest clones?"

Y/N nods, rubbing the back of her neck in embarrassment.

"You want to be with us?" Tech asks, genuinely confused.

Y/N panics and talks at a million miles an hour, "Iwouldn'twanttoimpose! It'sjustyouguysarereallycoolwittybrilliantandweirdandI'mjustakidandI'dprobablybecompletelyuselessandhavenowhereelse-"

She stops talking, shoving her hand and metal screwdriver over her mouth as Wrecker's grin grows.

"I'm Flash-talking." Y/N mutters, burying her face into her hand.

Obi-wan exchanges a glance with Windu.

"I suppose we can assign you to stay with Clone Force 99 until we can find your planet." Windu shrugs.

Y/N turns to them extremely fast, her hair whipping into her eyes, but she quickly moves it out of her face and asks, "Wait, seriously?"

Obi-wan nods, "As long as it's okay with them."

Y/N hesitates, turning back to them slowly only to have Wrecker pick her up, putting her on his shoulder.

"You're awesome, kid!" Wrecker laughs.

Y/N yells, throwing her hands into the air in a rock star pose, "Oh yeah! Booyakasha!"

Everyone looks at Y/N in confusion.

"It's a phrase from Earth, the shortened form, Booyah, is more common. Basically an exclamation of joy." Y/N explains, blushing. "You're gonna hear a lot more of this weirdness from me, guys."

Y/N walks to Rex.

"Rex, could you do me a favour?" She asks.

Rex shrugs, "Sure kid. What do you want?"

Y/N hands him a letter, explaining, "I need you to keep this on you until you meet the person whose name is on the letter."

Rex looks at the letter, reading the name in shock.

"How do you know Ahsoka?" Rex asks.

Y/N answers, "Same way I know you. I just know. It's a warning for her."

Rex smiles, "I'll keep it for her, kid."

"Seeya, Captain." Y/N smiles, walking towards the ship, leaving Rex behind.

Rex sighs as soon as she's out of earshot, "Hope you find what you're looking for, kid."
