Introduction and Rules

Long ago, in a galaxy far far away....

Welcome to Star Wars Fanfic Club. This is a place for fans of Star Wars to gather to discuss and read fanfiction pertaining to the Star Wars Galaxy.

Rules:

1. Respect: This is really the biggest one, and should go without saying. We are all fans, and we all have different views and backgrounds. We won't always agree, but we can remain civil through our disagreements.  Remember, everything is true, from a certain point of view. Breaking this rule gets you one warning before you are kicked out.

2. Engage: The point of this club is to help each other become better writers while dishing about the Star Wars fandom. Participating in this club is a monthly commitment where the more you give, the more you get in return. Do or do not, there is no try. (That said, if you need a hiatus, let me know. Real Life always comes first!)

3. Have Fun: Even when we have different ships or headcanons, we all share one thing: a love of Star Wars. We succeed by cherishing what we love, not tearing down what we hate.

4. Commitments: You will be assigned one story each month and your responsibility is to read five chapters in that story before the month is up. On top of that, you much provide at least one substantial comment on their work. In addition, you will read one chapter out of that month's featured book, for 6 chapters total.

5. Most Helpful Member: Each month, the member that left the most helpful comment will have their book featured. This means I will review their book and all our members will read at least one chapter. Once a member accomplishes this, they will not be eligible again for 3 months. Hopefully, this will inspire everyone to give their best and support each other.

6. Bare minimum: We all want validation for the work we poured so many hours into, which is why I am requiring at least one substantial comment of at least three sentences. Of course, more is both welcomed and encouraged! If you aren't sure what to write, feel free to use the following template:

Sentence 1: Compliment (What did you like?)

Sentence 2: Critique (What can they improve?)

Sentence 3: Compliment (What do you want to see more of?)
