After twelve hours, Chloe taught Finn every basic Force ability.
Finn was glad that he knew the basics so that he wouldn't be tricked again...hopefully.
"Remember, look with your eyes too when looking through the Force," Chloe reminded him.
"I will," Finn replied.
"He knows the basics, Rey and Ben," Chloe said as they entered the room where everyone sat waiting and talking.
"Awe man..." Ben whispered, his plans foiled.
"No, Poe..." Chloe said, placing her hand on his chest.
"I have a gift for you Chloe," Poe answered. He pulled off the necklace that hung around his neck, and removed the ring that hung from it. It was just a gage...but it had been his mother's wedding ring.
Chloe replied: "it's beautiful, Poe."
Poe was surprised and relieved that she liked it, even though it wasn't very fancy. "It belonged to my mother," he explained.
Chloe looked shocked before saying: "it's beautiful though."
"I want you to have it, I think my mother would be proud," he said.
Chloe smiled.
"Would you like to have dinner with me and watch the stars?" Poe asked.
"I would love to, my love," she replied.
Poe lead her to a secluded area near a window where they could eat and watch the stars go by.
"I can't wait for peace to come permanently," Chloe said as they ate.
"Me too," Poe agreed. "I've seen nothing but war my whole life."
"I'm glad that you feel the same way as I do, Poe Dameron," she said.
Poe nodded. "Me too."
Chloe smiled before leaning closer to kiss him.
Poe returned the kiss gently.
