Chapter Five--Captured
Okay, just so you know, if you are reading this, this holobook has identified you as someone with Force potential. Onia, Ty Ron, and I are writing it so you know why we need you. Why we need Jedi. We needed to tell everyone our story. But we're warning you. Being a Jedi is hard. Everyone expects you to be the peacekeeper. You have to avoid (or kill) bounty hunters, assasins, and the Sith.
Right now there are seven surviving Jedi. You don't need to know who the others are. Someone with Force potential could just as easily go to the dark side, and, if they had names, try to kill the only surviving Jedi.
But I'm sure you want to get back to the story, so I will simplify all that to two sentences: You have Force potential, and we want you to come to the light side and not the dark side. We need Jedi.

Note to self: When a trail seems extremely obvious, don't follow it.
This time, I didn't take my own advice.
I followed one.
I know, it was dumb and I shouldn't have done it, dangerous, blah blah blah whatever. I already heard it from Master Skywalker, you don't need to say it again.
So Ty Ron, Onia, and I had landed safely (if you don't remember, we jumped out of a window) and then we found a speeder and rented it. By then, we couldn't see the Siths' speeder, so we followed their trail.
[Hm, that made it sound like that trail is the obvious one. Just going to tell you now, it's not]
After a while, we found their speeder empty and broken on the side of the road. We took our speeder down and asked a random Mon Calimari to take it back to the rental place. We followed the Siths' Force trail (just saying, that wasn't the obvious one either) to an abandoned part of the city. It seemed that the Sith and his apprentice had split up.
"What do we do now?" I asked.
"We split up, and we wing it," replied Master Skywalker.
"That makes me feel real safe, Master Skywalker," Ty Ron snapped. "I don't like the 'winging it' part. Or the 'split up'."
Master Skywalker looked at him over her shoulder. "Even though you finally did get promoted to a full Jedi Knight doesn't mean you can tell me off. I'm still your superior," she told him reproachfully. "Unless you have a better plan."
"Yes, Master Skywalker," said Ty Ron meekly. "I mean, no, Master Skywalker, I don't have a better plan. I mean..." By that time both Onia and I were laughing at him. "Ahhh...never mind," he finally said.
"Okay. Assuming all of that's done, I'm going to assign everyone a position," Master Skywalker said, acting like nothing had happened. "Mai-ee, follow the girl's trail. I will follow the Master's trail. And Ty Ron, you will be scout. If anyone finds someone or something, tell the other two."
"How will we do that?" I asked
"Oh, I almost forgot!" Master Skywalker rummaged in her robe pockets, then pulled out three holocommunicators. "Call on these, okay? Now we need to go."
I ran to where the trail split, then found the girl's trail. Reaching out with the Force, I found that she turned left into a dark alley. Moving several steps forward, I found a crushed leaf. Then a partial footprint. Then a bit of cloth. At first I was eager. Until I saw the perfect, full footprint and the twig that looked like it had been snapped by two hands, then laid on the ground. Whoever she was, this girl wanted me to find her.
My heart was beating right out of my chest. I followed the trail much more carefully now. I continued to find completely obvious signs. Another twig. More footprints.
Suddenly, I heard something heavy coming towards me on my right. I stopped walking and whirled to face it, concentrating completely on sensing where it would come from.
I heard the thump of someone falling to the ground. I felt a sharp pain on the back of my head, and then everything went black.
