This scenario was requested by AshliDinkelman. Thank you for this wonderful idea.

     You were in the Resistance and were actually a really great pilot. You were often mentioned alongside Poe as one of the best pilots quite often. You even had your own BB unit that had the same colors as R2 has since your mother gifted it to you as a child. One day you and your droid who you call BB-21 were out walking around the Resistance base when BB-21 saw BB-8 and started to roll towards him out of curiosity. You of course followed her (your droid is a female just so you know) since you were always worried that something might happen to her since BB-21 is the last thing you have left to from your mother since she passed away from an illness when you were only eleven years old but not before she gave her to you as a present. Not only that but BB-21 had a bad habit of putting herself at risk in general so you wanted to be sure she wouldn't get herself into trouble. As you ran you were so focused on following your droid that you didn't notice when someone walked into the hallway until you felt yourself suddenly slam into someone on accident. Then a voice said to you as the person saw you laying on the floor "I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were there." However, you said not recognizing the voice at first "No don't be, it's my fault actually, I was following my droid and wasn't paying attention." But then person kindly stretched out their hand to you and after you got up, you realized you were face to face with Poe Dameron, the self proclaimed "Best Pilot in the Galaxy". You then said astonished "You're Poe Dameron." To which he nodded before he said "Yes I am, what's your name pretty lady (since he is already finding you attractive)? I don't think I've met you before." So you reply with a slight blush "I'm Y/n L/n, I'm a Resistance Pilot too." Poe then stares at you wide eyed since he has actually heard a few stories about you floating around base "So you are the one some of my friends have been talking about? The famed pilot they call "Speed Demon (people call you that as a nickname)?" With that you nod before he says we a cocky smirk on his face "How about since we both have a little down time you and I have a race to see who the best pilot is? The loser then has to buy drinks." So you smile liking the idea as you say "I'm in, I bet I'm going to win though cause you obviously don't have a single clue what I'm capable of where as I know all about you." Poe then follows you to the hanger as he says "Sorry to say this Y/n but if there is anyone that will win this little race, then it's me."

    Moments later, you each got into a X-Wing and once you both started them up Poe said through the radio "Are you ready?" To which you replied "Of course I'm ready!" At first Poe had the lead and it stayed like that until towards the very end of the race when you just managed to pull a trick maneuver your mother taught you on Poe and took the lead. Therefore to Poe's surprise, giving you the win. Once you two got out of your X-Wing's, Poe high fives you before saying "Not bad, I let you win though." Making you laugh as you say teasingly "Oh yeah, very funny Dameron! Now you have to buy us drinks."
