We both stepped into the portal. A world of flames was shown. Marco looked terrified of this place. I wonder why...

There was absolutely no one around. Not a sight out of mind. Just the sound of burning fire. "How come nobody's here, Star? It may be a trap."
"Don't worry, Marco, it's not a trap....I hope."
We took one last step. Out of nowhere, a net that was launched from a catapult landed on us.

"Umph...IT WAS A TRAP!" Marco said angrily struggling.
A couple of guardsmen showed up with flaming bow and arrows; Flare Soldiers.
"HAULT INTRUDERS!"
How could they not remember me?
"Intruders, you will now be sentenced to death by Lord Tom himself" One of them said.

The intruders took us to Tom. When we got there, they untied the net. I looked up and saw the fiery eyes of Tom.

"Look who came back. Well well well If it isn't Star my sweet rose." Tom said as he was walking slowly clapping.

Marco looked at me and blushed and gave a "what does he mean" face.
"Why'd your guards tie us up?" I asked.

Tom looked at the soldiers and looked back at me. "You'll have to excuse them, they're idiots." Tom pulled out a rose and put it on fire."A rose for another rose."

"Not interested." I shook my head and folded my arms."Tom we're here for a reason."
Tom laughed mocking Marco."You and that little Earth turd are here to see me? How quaint."

Marco looked at him angrily and snarled."At least I don't have a nose as long as Pinocchio."

"Smart little fella aren't we? Why am I not surprised. Star, hanging out with this Earth turd...*tch* You can do so much better."

"Who are you to tell me who or who not to hang out with?" I asked aggressively.

"I'm your boyfriend. That's who I am." Tom said crushing the rose.
"Argh EX BOYFRIEND! EX!" I unfolded my arms and clenched my fists."I don't have time for this. Do you know of a girl named Stella?"

Marco opened up his eyes wide like he actually knew who she was.
"Stella...hahahaha...That girl is certainly a charmer. Her wicked sense of humor and her striking passion. That's what I love about her. She's going to the Palace of Time. The Palace of Time is a place where a certain princess keeps the balance of time in place. You may have to do some time traveling to find the palace. Oh...why should I be telling you this? My new rose will achieve her goals and destroy you...or...I could do the job for her."

Marco was shocked by this and looked at Tom aggressively. When Tom said that, I felt a piece of my heart crush. I pulled out my wand. Tom looked closely at it.

"So, it's going to be like this is it? Hahahaha....HAHAHAHAHA! Star Butterfly...I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT YOU'RE MISSING OUT ON!" He said as his eyes were flaming red like a demon's and his hair was on fire.

"SUPER SPARKLE PUNCH!" I shouted jumping in the air. Tom was punched in the face.

"GUARDS SEIZE THEM!" Tom shouted.
Marco handled the flare guards. I was dealing with Tom.
Tom shot multiple fireballs at me. I protected myself from all of them with the wand.

The battle lasted a few minutes."Give it up Star, you don't have the guts to defeat me. You're still in love with me. Admit it."

"You wish. This is why I broke up with you. You're nothing but a sorry flame turd who dates too many girls. You're the guy who never believed in me with the challenges I had to face." My wand was bursting with energy."IT WAS ALL YOU!" I shouted as a white bean of light headed towards Tom.

"I always believed in you. YOU'RE THE ONE WHO BROKE UP WITH ME FOR NO REASON. I'm sorry for what I did." Tom said as he shot a beam of fire with his eyes red as a demon.

The two beams were going back and forth against each other. We reached an impasse, but my beam overcame his.
"TASTE THE RAINBOW AND LIKE IT, TOM!" I shouted.
Tom instantly fainted. I walked towards him."Sorry doesn't cut it..." I said and walked towards Marco who'd finished fighting the guards.

"That was awesome! We did it!" Marco beamed. I smiled."Yeah I guess we did." I said as I hesitated and stared at Marco."Well come on safe kid. WE'RE OF TO THE PALACE OF TIME!" I said as I jumped cut a dimensional portal. I grabbed Marco's hand and happily jumped inside the portal.
