Star had never been in a ship that she could remember. Her parents brought her to Kamino when she was just a baby so she didn't remember the journey they took to bring her to the facility at all. Tech did his best to cure her curiosity that never seemed to be satisfied. She asked him at least five dozen questions about the ship's interior alone. And of course, Tech had been more then happy to answer every single one of them. Tech punched in the coordinates of Naboo into the hyperdrive of the ship and Star watched curiously. "What's hyperspace?" She asked as she observed his nimble fingers. "It is a space time continuum which the hyperdrive harnesses to help us travel faster then light." "You can do that?" Star asked with wide eyes and Tech looked at her with a raised brow. "Travel faster then light, I mean." She clarified her question and Tech nodded. "Yes. It's the most efficient way to travel throughout the galaxy." "What's it like?" Star asked and Tech showed her a small smile as he engaged the hyperdrive. "Why don't you see for yourself?" He offered and Star's gaze moved from the clone in the pilot's seat to view outside of the glass that separated her from space which began to swirl with light a soft blue shade. Her eyes widened as they took in the sight. A small smile tugged at her lips. "It's beautiful." She muttered and tech felt a warmth blossom over his chest as he watched her. She was so delighted, it was gorgeous on her. "Yeah." He replied as he placed a hand on hers. "It is."
"I thought Naboo had a non-toxic atmosphere." Star said as she looked down at the oxygen mask in her hands that Tech had handed her. He explained that Naboo had an atmosphere filled with poisonous gas and that a single breath of it could kill either one of them. "Well," He began as he turned to her, "Your atlas is outdated, miss Star, you said it yourself." He informed her. "And in the past several years as a sign effect of the war, Naboo's atmosphere has filled with toxins." He continued to lie to her. He was convinced if he convinced her to wear one of the ship's oxygen masks that their visit to Naboo would go off without a hitch and Star would safely be able to experience another world. Tech was a man of his research, he wouldn't do anything to Star without researching it first to make sure it was perfectly safe. And he was certain that there wasn't a single loophole in his plan, it was foolproof. "Alright." Star finally agreed before slipping the mask over her nose and mouth. Tech pulled his helmet on over his head, supplying him with it's own filtering methods, as he led the way off of the ship.
Star's eyes widened as she stepped off of the ship and onto a field of flowers and tall grass. The field was a valley nestled between mountains. "So this is what grass looks like..." Star muttered as she bent down to touch it, something she had never done. "Its amazing." She added as she plucked a few strands of it from the ground before tossing it into the air like confetti. She watched it fall with a curious demeanor and Tech couldn't help but smile at the girl. Her curiosity ignited a fire in his heart as he watched her. "And flowers too!" Star added as she began to pick several of the different wild flowers from the ground. "They're so many different colors! Tech look!" She cheered as she gestured for him to come closer to her. He strode over to her before kneeling next to her and watching her pick the flowers. "Those are Achillea millefolium, a fauna native to naboo." Tech informed her as he picked a flower that matched the one she was holding and handed it to her. "They're so lovely." Star said, enamoured by the beauty of nature. "Yes well I know of something that is even more lovely." Tech replied as he took the flower he was holding and tucked it behind Star's ear. The action caused Star to giggle delightfully, the familiar delight of Tech's favorite sound filled his ears and he smiled underneath his helmet. "And what would that be?" Star asked curiously. Tech was thankful for a moment for his helmet that covered his face, otherwise Star would have seen the massive blush that over took him. "You." He replied flatly. "You are so lovely to me." He finally stated and he noticed the indigo color rising in Star's cheeks. "Thank you, Tech." She mused. "You are very lovely to me as well."
