All around was fire and smoke.

David manages to emerge from the blast but his X-Wing is damaged. What's  worse is BB-6 is gone along with Fox. David looks around for his friend.

David: Fox! Fox, come in! Fox, do you copy?! Over!

All he got was silence. He search one more time.

David: Fox, do you copy?!

Then coming from the smoke was none other than Fox.

Fox: David, we got to get out of here! Follow me!

David waist no time and quickly follows him as the base starts to explode. The Rebel pilot stays close to Fox as he guides through the maze.

David: You know how we get out of here?

Fox: My father will show me the way.

David looks in front of Fox to see nothing.

David: I don't see him.

From Fox's point of view, he sees the ghost of his father, James Mccloud in his Arwing.

James: Never give up, my son.

Fox and David keep moving through the maze before they finally reaches to the surface.

From outside, Fox's comrades and Phoenix squad sees explosions coming from the large shaft.

Numa: What's happening down there?!

Cleat: David!

Slippy: Fox!

They waited for Fox and David to come out. As they waited, not far from their position, a new enemy starts to appear.

An Imperial ship arrives before deploying its fighters for scouting.

Back with the group, the pilots wait before they see Fox and David.

Paige: There they are!

Peppy: Fox! David! You guys are okay!

Duke: You did it, David!

Numa: I knew you can do it!

Slippy: Way to go, Fox!

Falco: That's our leader!

Kyle: You showed that leader whose boss!

All of a sudden, Duke's R-Unit alerts him. He turns to sees several familiar foes approaching.

Duke: Uh guys. We got company!

David turns to see the contacts approaching.

David: TIE fighters.

Fox: We got to get out of here. Return to the Great Fox.

The TIE fighters see them before opening fire on the group. The large Great Fox makes a run for it but the TIE catch up and open fire.

R.O.B: The Great Fox shields are decreasing. Also unknowns ships have been detected.

In front two Star Destroyers open fire as well.

Peppy: We're trapped.

???: Not for long.

Falco: Look at that!

Then a squad of unknown ships fly in and attack the Star Destroyers.

Slippy: Did you see that?!

???: Need some help son?

David: Dad?

Then X-Wings appear and attack the TIEs. A few friendly ships appear and engage the Star Destroyers.

Fox: We should use that time to get out of here.

The group meet up with the Great Fox before escaping.

Fox: David, are those Andross' forces?

David: No, Fox. Those are Imperial Forces and Rebels. The civil war is brought here.

Peppy: Then you guys are part of the Rebellion?

David: Yes we are.

The Great Fox made its journey when they are met with the Rebel Ships.

???: This is Admiral Ackbar to Phoenix Squad.

David: Admiral? Never thought I heard your voice again.

Ackbar: I see that you have new friends. We should discuss that back on the Home One.

Fox: R.O.B, we should also notify General Pepper along with Corneria about a new threat and new allies.

R.O.B: Affirmative.

David smiles knowing the Rebels are here now but their enemies, the Empire are here as well.
