Tiara pov

"Phew, glad everyone made it safe!" I say, "So this is the Crystal Crane? It's so pretty!!" I look up at the gigantic crane. It shimmered and sparkled, and you could see through it in some parts!

 The bird wakes up, and sees us, "Who are you?" its loud feminine voice booms through- man it sounds so scary! 

"Erm, I'm y/n and these are my friends,  we're looking for a piece of the Legendary Golden Reed and it's told that you have it in your nest!!" y/n yells for the bird to hear. "You are genies are you not? I'm surprised to find some still. Well then, I see you all have journeyed over here to find it, and you have found it. But, unfortunately, I cannot give it to you." the crane's voice goes to a gentle whisper.

"Why?!" Chat Noir asks, "If you don't believe us, we already have a piece of the Reed, you can see it around y/n's neck!" 

"I can see that, however, only one of you are worthy of the Reed. I see you are using it for good yes?.........YES!?" she yells.

 "Y-Yeah!" Chrissy stutters in fear.

"Well then I cannot give it to you." 

"But we need that Reed piece! Without it, all of the world including this forest will be destroyed!!!" I yell. 

"I cannot, for I see greed in one's hearts. If I give the piece to one, they will use it with the greedy!" 

"Greed?" y/n asks to herself. 

"What does the crane mean by greed?! We're not greedy! How are we being greedy!?" Chrissy yells.

"That is for you to figure out- IN MAH BELLY!!!!!" the crane stands up, doubling its height and dives its beak down on us.

 "AAAAH!" we all went in separate directions as dirt flew up everywhere from the cranes feet, y/n flew and grabs Chat. "ALRIGHT WHO DID IT!!???" y/n yells, as Chrissy and I flew up to y/n, dodging attacks from the bird. "DID WHAT?!" I ask back, "P/n!" y/n calls out as the magic carpet comes up out of thin air, "Get on Chat!" she helps him onto p/n. 

"Someone had to take something from this forest! I said at the beginning- do not take anything from this forest, the crane will sense it and will try to eat us!!! WHY DO YOU THINK IT CALLED US GREEDY!?" y/n says. 

"I-" I was stopped by a rough wind, "AAah!" Chrissy gets blown off of the carpet! 

"Chrissy!!!" I yell reaching for her. I get blown back to a crystal tree, I land my feet and use the tree as a spring to bounce and fly back to my friends. "I didn't do it!" Y/n says.

 "Not I" I say. "You know I didn't" Y/n says. We all look at Chat, he shakes his head no, "I didn't take anything but this little girl did give me this flower" he digs into his zipper pocket and takes out a crystal flower, "Actually, I have one too! Chat just now reminded me, I already forgotten about the flower!" Chrissy takes it out of her pocket.

 "A little girl gave me a flower too! She was stuck under a tree limb, and she gave me this as a thanks." Chrissy explains, nervously smiling and chuckling. 

"What?!" y/n looks at both of us in disbelief. 

"Actually. That's what exactly happened to me!" Chat says, "I'm sorry but I must say that the same thing happened to me." I take out the same crystal flower out of my pocket as well.

 "You too Tiara!? Weird, the same thing happened to me as well but I put the flower up on the ground somewhere after she left!" y/n explains. 

"It was a trap!" Chat says, "WOAH!" he dodges a close attack. "You're saying that the little girl gave us a crystal flower on purpose?!" I ask, "It's obvious she wanted us in this position! And we fell for it!" y/n yells over the loud commotion as we kept dodging attacks and swoops from the crane. 

"Either that or it could've been a test!" Chrissy yells back. 

"I have a plan! Everyone, give me your flowers!" y/n says, we did so and she flies up, "Y/n! Be careful!" Chat yells.

Your pov

I fly up to the crane, and clap my hands together and  a f/n megaphone appears in my hands, I yell into it, "Crystal Crane! Here!" the crane stops, and looks at me.

 I open my mouth, "I believe my friends and I were tricked by someone. As we were on our way here, we entered the foggy area of this forest and a child was in trouble, we helped her and she gave us these flowers as gratitude. We had forgotten the rules of this forest, because we were simply helping someone out, a little girl said that she came from seeing you before being trapped under a tree limb! We were not being greedy! We just didn't realize where we made our mistake until now! So since these flowers belong to you, here." I toss the flowers into the nest far below me. 

The crane lands herself on the ground, and looks at the flowers, then back at me."Hmmm........I never seen a little girl, you four are the first visitors here today!"

 "What?!"

 "But I do see that you are telling the truth. So here is what was promised" the crane says as I could see a golden glow through the bird, rising up from behind it, as it flew to me. It landed in my hands as the glow dimmed and faded, into the second piece of the reed. 

"Wow!! This is great!!! Thank you so much!!!" I smile in happiness, "You and your friends are worthy of the piece, I do apologize for my poor judgement" 

"It's alright, we all make mistakes!" I smile, as my friends fly up to my level, "How must I make up for this?" the crane says, "I will take one request" it says. 

"Hmm, we do need to go to Spirland Mountain to get the last piece of the Reed!" I say, "Oh my, that's quite a very cold place, it's very dangerous to genies, and Souhaitians." the crane explains.

"The Crystal Crane is right, we're not accustomed to extreme cold weather like that! We'll freeze to death!!" Chrissy says. "I can help, here... as a token of mine." the crane says. Three bracelets appear on Chrissy, Tiara's and I's wrists. "What are these?" I look at the crystal bangle complementing my other gold ones. "These bracelets will not only protect you three from the cold, but will also disguise you as a sprite. I believe your 'feline friend' doesn't require this" the crane refers to Chat Noir. "Plagg power up!" Chat says aloud, as his outfit glowed and dimmed back down, now having snowflake and icy accents on it. Suddenly a crystal lion roars, catching the crane's attention, it roars again.

 "You may tell them, these four are going to the same place, I will be giving them a ride there" the crane slowly nods. The lion looks at us, its deep manly voice comes out "I have just received news of Spirland Mountain, apparently the sprites there have been on the pirates side for a long time." "What do you mean?" Chat asks aloud. 

"The sprites are basically fairies that live in a colder climate. The fairies and sprites are really the same species altogether. Any genies that have visited there have either been frozen-captive, or given to pirates, so you must be really careful. The bracelets the Crystal Crane have given you will last for about 2 days, the crystal it's made from can only take so much of the mountains extreme temperatures, by the third day, your disguises will cease to exist and you will freeze to death-unless captured before that happens." it says.  

"We understand. We'll hurry as fast as possible!" I say.

 "Please, hop on my back, I can give you a ride now." the crane says, I pick up Chat from my carpet, and we all landed on the giant crane's back.

One  chapter, one step closer to the end! 

Also I'm thinking about taking down those scene photos from the beginning of the book and maybe re draw them. This book was made a few years ago after all.
