Hello! Kitty here! So far this is the LAST Chat x Reader fanfiction that is in progress. And this book here itself is close to ending. I updated Christmas of 2019, since I didn't want to leave you hanging, I said that I'll come back when I have less on my plate here on wattpad, and now that I do, this will be the main book I'll be working on besides the other Chat Noir fanfiction- it's not out yet, but maybe when this book is finished! And I'm also working on 'The Shy Girl's Bad Boy' series.........So let us recap!!

After the last of the hidden genies of Souhait have been kidnapped, you and the gang decide to find the Legendary Golden Reed, a magical musical instrument that has the power play a sound that all of the genies can hear, even awaken genies in their bottles of slumber. After planning and studying the map, you all decided to go to the Meradium, in hopes of finding a magical lake that had answers of the worlds,

"The Meradium is nothing but a full sea and small shore, but once you swim down more.....you see this? That's the Meradium Reef. When inside, there is a special lake there protected by a special force field." 

But when you and the gang make it to the lake, you all had obstacles,  "The seaweed is keeping us from getting to the lake!"

When you finally made it to the lake, an even BIGGER obstacle gets in the way of you and your friends, "Can you tell us where the Legendary Reed is and how to find it?" I ask. "Ahhh, the Reed, I would answer your question but you must first answer my riddle, without being stuck in a fiddle! Many have solved before, so maybe you can answer too -before time runs out and death is at your door!" the lake bubbles out giggling.

And you all have to answer the riddle correctly before you all drown! 

"Anyway, you only have three tries, no hints, I shall spare you all an hour of air just in case you're all in a pinch! Hee hee!" and the lake stops glowing. 

If you forgot what the riddle was:

A king has no heir, nor a queen and has trouble deciding who will be the next in line. He gives all of the children of the kingdom a seed to plant, the child with the largest and most beautiful flower will become the new ruler. Sometime after, all of the children entered the castle with their colorful, enormous potted flowers and the king checked them, however he noticed only one little girl's flower pot was empty and he chose her as the next Queen. Why did the king choose the empty pot out of the others who had big and beautiful flowers?

And now, we all sit here arguing about the answer to a riddle hardly anyone knows about......

Let's dive in....................

55 minutes later

Chat's pov

"The king had no queen or child! HE NEVER HAD A CHILD!"  I yell. "Wait he doesn't have a child?" Chrissy asks, "Is the king even human?" Tiara asks, "If he had a child this riddle wouldn't exist in the first place" y/n says annoyed. 

"Okay let's start back! The lake said we was close when Chrissy said the child had a fake seed, that isn't possible since.....wait a second" y/n stops, her eyes widening slightly, "We guessed that the child had a fake seed, while the others had big flowers!! This could be something moral related!" she smiles, "Actually you have a point y/n!" Tiara says.

 "Could it be that the child was being honest while the others were not?" I mutter, then sploshing sounds came up from behind us, making us all turn around to the lake, "Oh my, so sorry young ones, you all have one last try and  five minutes left on the clock before water fills your lungs!!" the voice giggles, then suddenly water began to flood the floor, rapidly rising up, "AAAHH! WE'RE TRAPPED IN!" y/n screams and we all panic. 

"Everyone, we all need to calm down, we only have one shot at this! Y/n you said that this could be moral related! That means we're close! We guessed that the child had a fake seed, and that she was being honest which both were wrong." I explain, as the water continued to gush in, "The first guess we were close but so far, so we have part of the answer right!" Tiara says, "What if it's flipped the other way around?" y/n asks. 

"If we guessed that the child had a fake seed. Then what if it was flipped around?" I ask aloud.

 "THAT'S IT! I JUST HAD IT BACKWARDS!" Chrissy yells, snapping her fingers,  "The child was chosen because the king gave all of the children fake seeds! The children noticed that the flowers would not grow at all, and under pressure of the deadline and not becoming a king or queen, they had real seeds planted in the pots! Only one child was open and honest about it, while the others lied, that's why the little girl was the only one with no flower!" Chrissy yells out to the lake.

 The water stopped flowing in. We all look around in confusion, then a large amount of water shot up out of the lake startling us all, and a blue, transparent woman with bubbly, water-like hair and dark blue eyes. All that covered her was a layer of sheer white chiffon. 

"Oh my goodness! You are correct, a right answer to my hard riddle, that I did not expect! You are spared, you can now breathe air. Now that you answered my riddle, the water shall recede little by little!" she cheerfully says. 

Your pov 

The water slowly but surely dissolved in the ground, "I must put up my end of the deal, what you ask for is what I shall reveal! May the one who asked me who brought her friends of three come up to me?" she asks, looking at me. 

I slowly walk up to her, as she stepped down from the stones surrounding the lake. I can see through her! She's the lake! "Well well, what is the trouble? I see that you're a genie-my my! There are still some left? Have not the pirates stuffed your kind into their own theft?" her voice squeaks, a bit shocked.

"Yes, these are my friends! I was a genie who was selected to live on Earth, I recently heard of the invasion of my homeland and I realized that the Golden Reed can be used to call all of the Earth Genies together so we can all go in and save our home! But no one knows where it's at and the only way to know is here." I explain to the water lady, "Mhm....well then, I shall explain to you of the Legendary Golden Reed, though you may not like the sound of it, so please don't throw a fit." she breathes, slowly blinks, and looks back at my friends and I. She bends down to my height,

 "The Legendary Golden Reed is not in a single location, as the last Genie who used it 'lost it' from an altercation. The pirates who found out about the priceless instrument were the ones to take it, so for all of your kind, the Reed she did break it" she explains, "So the pieces of the Reed must be scattered in different places!!" Chat says, the water lady nods. 

"The pieces of the Reed are spread out far, three pieces there are! Must the kidnapped Genies be used for a bad cause, all will spread out in chaos!" the lady's voice began to break. 

"Well do you know the locations of the Reed pieces then?" I ask, 

"Little one, you asked for the location of the Legendary Golden Reed as whole, another question you may ask, another riddle will unfold!" she says laughing, "WHAT?!" Chat, Tiara, Chrissy  and I yells in unison.

 "Just a joke, it has been years since I seen alive folk!" she giggles, and all of us felt somewhat relieved. 

"One piece resides in the place of tides, another rests in a shimmering bird's nest, the last one sleeps in a world of sprites where it is only seen by night. I must say a world of water, crystals and ice, for each piece you take will cost a price!" she says, as tears rolled down her face, though she has a faint smile to go along with it.  

"Wouldn't the place of tides be here?" Chat questions, "You are right. Ah, what a sight" she sighs as she watched one of her tears fall into her hand, it flashed a golden color, as the tear stretched slightly, solidifying into a skinny tiny, short tube with a hole at the end. She gives it to me, my mouth gaped, "This is...." 

"A piece of the Reed, it will glow when you find the pieces of the Reed you will need." she smiles.

"Th-thank you so much! We will hurry and save the Genies before this gets worse!!" I say, "I may do you all a favor and teleport you to the shore above, it's been a wonderful time chatting with you all my loves!" she giggles, we didn't get the chance to say anything because we were swallowed by a heavy flush of water. 

We all choked and coughed out water, realizing we're all on the shore!  "So....we'll need to find the other pieces too. We already got the one that resides in the place of tides, so that means," I pause, as Chrissy takes out the map and rolls it out on the sand. 

We all circle around it, on our knees, hearing the splashes of the tides and water in the back ground.  " "Another rests in a shimmering bird's nest." ....That must mean that the second piece of the Reed is in Crystalis!" Tiara says, "Who?" Chat asks confused, "It's the name of the Crystal Forest! All of the animals there are made of crystals, there is only one type of bird that lives there- the Crystal Crane, the protector of the forest,they say it shimmers and glitters like the trees in sunlight there! " Tiara explains.

 "Wow, it sound really nice there-besides the name crystal" Chat says, shocked.

"However, Chat, we can enter the forest, but no one can take anything out of it that originated from there. We can take the Reed piece since it wasn't from there in the beginning, but we cannot take anything else, or else the Crane will see us as intruders and try to eat us alive!" I explain to Chat. "*gulp* never mind about that then!" he slightly stutters. 

" Finally, " the last one sleeps in a world of sprites where it is only seen by twilight." ......hmmm, sprites here like cold temperatures, so that must be Spirland Mountain, makes sense since it's ice!" I solve the problem.
