Your pov

We all swam down more and found a large colorful reef, "This is it!! I think!?" I smile. "We better hurry, we have about 10 minutes left" Chat warns, "Gottcha." I nod.  (;))

We swam into the reef, but suddenly I could feel the pull of gravity on my whole body and was falling! All of us are falling!! Luckily, we landed into a soft patch of seaweed. "Woah, there's no water here.....ARE WE ABOUT TO DROWN?!" Chrissy screeches, "No, we're in air? There's air down here." Chat looks around.

 "We're in....... the Meradium Reef!!!" I sigh in awe, "I can't believe it, we're here!!! That's why a lake is down here!!! A mermaid is not able to be down here.....but...." I stop in my tracks and look around, "Wait" I squint my eyes at some of the kelp and the seaweed patch we was standing on.

 They're floating-as if they're still in water. I look at Chat and my friends, "We're still underwater" Chat trails off. "This must be an illusion to make it look like we're in the air!" Tiara says. "How much time do we have left?" I ask, "7 minutes" Chat says"Come on! To the lake!" we all run to the lake, that was held by stone.

I hear a whip snap, "Argh!" I turn around Chrissy's ankle wrapped around by seaweed, preventing her from moving, "Chrissy!" I run to her, "NO KEEP GOING! I'll be fine!" she says. I nod with a worried look on my face and ran the other way to the lake. "EEEP!" Tiara screams. "It keeps grabbing them!" Chat says, then suddenly picks me up, running to the lake "WOAH! Why are you carrying me!?"I was started by the sudden pickup.

 "The seaweed is keeping us from getting to the lake! But it is only grabbing the genies. Don't you think it would've grabbed a human first?" he raises a brow, with a slight smirk, he's right. Out of all species present, the seaweed is only trapping my genie friends, it would've grabbed me if it wasn't for Chat. The reason the seaweed can't detect him is because he's transformed! Genius!! (do you think that i am stupid?🎵)

"Hurry! On three!" he says. "On three what?!" I say back. 

"1!"

 "CHA-" "AH FORGET IT THREE!" and he throws me as hard as he could, and I flew, and landed in a huge SPLASH! I sat up and spat out some seaweed, "Bleh!" I cough out, "Hurry y/n! we only have 5 minutes left!!!" Chat's voice echoes.

 "O-OKAY!" I stutter, beginning to panic. "HOW DO I SWITCH THE LAKE ON!? UH...UM" I splash around, only seeing the stone bottom of the lake, hm. It really isn't as deep as I thought. "UH, LAKE?! MYSTERIOUS LAAAKEEEE!!! WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!" I yell.

 "WE'RE ABOUT TO DROWN!" I move wet locks of my hair out of my face/shake some seaweed out of my head. 

"My hometown, Souhait is under attack and is almost obliterated by the pirates, the genies are all kidnapped by them and soon they'll be manipulated for their wishes! Please! I need to ask you one question!!! Just one! My friends and I came down here for help and we have like 4 minutes before we drown!" I yell out. 

Soon everything fell quiet. Every thing stopped moving, and the place began to shake as the water glowed a bright blue. Tiara and Chrissy were freed. 

"I am listening young one, though your tattoo glows like the sun." a cheery, watery voice says, making bubbles float up to the surface of the water. 

"....You can talkಠ_ಠ?" I whisper to myself.

 "Can you tell us where the Legendary Reed is and how to find it?" I ask. "Ahhh, the Reed, I would answer your question but you must first answer my riddle, without being stuck in a fiddle! Many have solved before, so maybe you can answer too -before time runs out and death is at your door!" it bubbles out giggling. 

"But! We're about to drown!!! What is the point of-" "Answer my riddle and you'll be out of here in a hurry! If you take too long, your vision will soon be blurry!" it laughs more.

 "Y/n!" Tiara, Chrissy and Chat run up to the lake near me. I turn to look at them, then back at the lake. "Fine. We'll answer your riddle if you tell us about the Reed!" I say, "Alright, alright, let us not fight.*ahem* A king has no heir, nor a queen and has trouble deciding who will be the next in line. He gives all of the children of the kingdom a seed to plant, the child with the largest and most beautiful flower will become the new ruler. Sometime after, all of the children entered the castle with their colorful, enormous potted flowers and the king checked them, however he noticed only one little girl's flower pot was empty and he chose her as the next Queen. Why did the king choose the empty pot out of the others who had big and beautiful flowers?" the lake says.

 "This is a load of barnacles....." Chat whispers, to Tiara, "I HEARD THAT! YOU SNEAKY LITTLE CAT!" the lake yells startling me.

 "Anyway, you only have three tries, no hints, I shall spare you all an hour of air just in case you're all in a pinch! Hee hee!" and the lake stops glowing. 

"..........How can we even remember all that!?" Chat sighs, helping me out of the lake, and I shake myself dry. "Okay, let's get this done and over with so we can find out where the reed is." I say. "Okay, the king gave seeds to the children, and all came with a flower but one." Chat thinks.

"OHHHHH!!! I think I know this one!" Chrissy says, we all look at her, "You do!?" we all ask her in unison. "Well...I did. My cousin once went down here, and she was given this same riddle, but....it has been quite a bit, maybe a few hundred years back?" she taps her chin. "What?!" Chat widens his eyes, "Chat, our time is different from your world you know" Tiara says.

 "I know that but....I just didn't know it would be that fast, so if I were here a few hours then-" "Never mind that! Back to the riddle......" Tiara butts in, "I think she said.....maybe the child had a fake seed?" Chrissy slowly says, while still thinking.

"CHRISSY WAI-" I was stopped by the voice of the lake, "Oh my, so close but yet so far, only two tries left, hope you enjoy being my guests! Hee hee!" the cheery voice fades. 

We all shoot an annoyed look at Chrissy. "Sorry, heh heh ^^;" she scratches the back of her head.
