Typical.
The bus was late again and Charon just about had it this morning.
Living in the small town of Cigar, 15 year old Charon was your same old highschooler. He had all the honors classes, joined most of the sports teams and went to a few clubs here and there between sport seasons. He was at an average height with dark brown hair with hazel eyes, wearing nothing but his blue hoodie, a black shirt with jeans and his favorite high-tops on, so today was no different than like every other day, except that most thing were going wrong.
First none of his alarms decided to go off, second there was almost nothing to eat for breakfast and now the bus is looking like its never going to show up.
"How long does it take for a freaking bus to get here!" Charon exclaimed. Finally after what it felt like was an eternity, the bus showed up. He hopped up and headed to the back.
Even though Charon was a well rounded student, his personal life made him the most secluded person at school, his mother and father told him they were divorcing two days before his birthday, his favorite dog got out for the second time and his mother made the choice to let the dog's finder keep her, his favorite math teacher had gotten in a car accident, along with his engineering science teacher, and to top it all off he was failing most of his classes.
Nothing was going well for him lately, he was lucky to even make the basketball team this year with his grades.
The bus whirled into to the school and everyone piled out, heading to the middle of campus. On his way to his first hour class early, so he didn't have to talk to anyone, Vega had stopped him on the way there. She was slightly shorted than Charon, with blonde, curly hair and golden-like eyes wearing her favorite sweater and a pair of leggings with tennis shoes on.
"Hey Charon!" Vega said excitingly.
"What do you want this time. Let me guess? Homework answers." Charon asked.
"Surprisingly, no not this time. I was going to ask if I could walk with you to English?"
"Uhm, sure?"
Charon didn't ever walk with anyone to class usually, but he felt like if he had said no, he was going to feel bad.
It was a little awkward because neither one talked on the way to class. Vega looked liked she desperately wanted to say something to him but she knew better.
Once they got into class, the bell rang.
"Damn bus made me late to being early today" Charon said to himself, and so his silent suffering for the day had begun.
