What you are about to read is based on a true story. 

For more information on the real life happenings, visit prisonexp.org. In addition, the 2015 film "The Stanford Prison Experiment" chillingly depicts the occurrence with nearly 100% accuracy and beautiful acting performances. 

This story will contain abusive language including cursing and homophobic and racist slurs. It will be psychologically draining and as such, should be read with caution.

This story is set in 1971. Racism and homophobia were much more acceptable than they are today, and that will be depicted in this story. Keep your comments appropriate or you will be muted.

There will be a cast list in each chapter necessary to remind you which number is assigned to which character.
