This was it...the state championship finals. I'm so excited, thanks to my amazing skills -not only on the offensive or defensive, but also as goalie- we were the team expected to be 'crowned' state champions! Debby walks up to me, "Hey, you look nervous." "To be honest...I think I am. The people out there expect me to lead the team to victory...and it's too much pressure." "Think about the reward from Niall then to calm down." She says winking. "Hey, that might distract me too much." I say playfully punching her on the arm. "Round 1 is starting, I repeat round 1 is starting." I hear a voice on the loudspeaker say. "That's us. Let's kick some ass!" I say as we walk up to the other co-captains and flip to see who starts with ball; the referee flips the coin and we call it in the air. "Heads." Debby and I say. "Heads it is. Gates-Chili starts." He says. We shake hands with the other team and walk over to the rest of our team. We plan out our first play and I head to the goal. The whistle sounds and Debby kicks the ball to Ashley. They play the blitz just like we practiced and easily score a point. The other team then gets the ball and tries scoring, but because of my mad skills, I block the shot like it was nothing. This continues back and forth until it's half-time. I grab my water and walk over to the other girls, the guys were recording.

"How'd I do so far?" I ask. "Great, they only got one shot on you and that's when you slid too low. You're so gonna lead us to victory!" Bianca says hugging me. "Gahh, Bee, your bump is pushing me more than your arms!" I say laughing. Meli wraps her arm around my shoulders. "Next time the boys want to play soccer is Niam vs Female Niam. we'll se who wins." She says winking playfully. This makes all of of us laugh. "I'm sure I could fit in a total butt-whopping in there somewhere." I say smirking about how the last game went, the girls beat the guys, and Aurora and James weren't even playing, they were on a date. My coach calls me back so we can discuss game play. "So, we want you on goal again since you've barely done much goal keeping thanks to the team. But fourth quarter I want you on offense." She says speaking mad fast. "Uh...alright." I say trying to understand all of that. We get in our starting spots and the whistle sounds again. They played like it was fooseball or something, but I blocked all 3 shots. Then the last quarter comes rolling around and I move to offense and Laura takes my place. We keep the ball on their side of the field for the majority, and I even assisted a few goals. Then, it fell like it was 2 seconds later and we were already 30 seconds away from the end and the ball is on our side of the field. Debby passes it to me and with 10 seconds left I shoot and score the 'winning goal' -I mean yea, it was the last shot, but we were so the winners since the 3rd quarter...anyway- at the last second! The buzzer sounds and the team picks me up cheering. I'm handed the trophy and while still in their arms I hold the trophy high in the air, proud of our victory. So, after deciding I'd get the trophy Meli takes me home and I walk through my door to see rose petals leading to the living room. There I see the best thing ever, Niall Horan, without a shirt laying on my couch in a very sexy position. He sees the trophy and jumps up to kiss me. Then he pulls apart and quickly drags me up the stairs to my room; and I'm guessing that it's time to celebrate the victory ;)
