--Meli's POV--

I wake up to Liam's arms around my waist in a death grip. I wriggle out and go find the other girls who help me make the pancakes. We finish making the food and grab the stuff to set it. "So, spill, how were the dates?" Anna asks as we set the table. "Well, Louis and I got chased by paparazzi, but we had a nice dinner at Friendly's and then he gave me a piggy-back ride to the bus." Bianca gushes. "Harry and I went to Starbucks, had some coffee and then went for a walk on the beach. We got playful and some slimeball took our picture kissing. Turns out the cashier tipped him off hoping to ruin our date. We ran hand in hand all the way to the bus, by then, you were all asleep." She says. "Aww, you guys, that sounds so romantic!" Aurora says. "Like what Zayn did for you wasn't?" I say. "After the group date Niall suprised me with a single rose, saying it represented out unity." Anna says swooning. I start to get disappointed "Guys, what if Liam doesn't like me as much, he's suprised me, yeah, but it wasn't anything really romantic and neither was our first date." I say flipping out.

--Liam's POV--

I didn't feel Melina's warmth next to me when I woke up.but I did smell pancakes...I walk over to the front of the bus and heard the girls talking so....I pulled a Louis and hid to eavesdrop. "Guys, what if Liam doesn't like me as much, he's suprised me, yeah but it wasn't anything really romantic and neither was our first date." I heard her say. After hearing that, I've made up my mind to keep listening. "Honey, of course he likes you, fireworks are romantic, and he always calls you beautiful, if he isn't touching you in some way, he's looking at you, like it's only you and him on the planet." Bianca says. "Yea, but fourth of July fireworks? I just wish he did something like kiss me in the rain or something...I'm just the sappy type and you know that." "Hey, how about we go to the mall today or something okay?" Parker suggests. "Okay." She agrees. I back away and go wake up the lads, telling them I have a plan I need to tell them later. We all walk to the table and start eating...these cannot be pancakes! They are slices of heaven! "Did my angel make these fluffy pieces of heaven?" I ask looking into her eyes. "Yea, with some help." She says pointing to her friends. "Well thank you, these are amazing."

--Anna's POV--

I know he was spying on us...but for some reason I'm glad he did. We finish breakfast and get dressed for the mall.

"Bye boys, we'll be back in a few hours." We say. I pull Niall close, "Let me know what Liam has in store, I know he's planning something he looked distracted all through breakfast." I whisper into his ear, then kiss his cheek. We walk off the bus and head toward the mall, and start shopping. After about 10 stores and 2 bags each, we went to have lunch at the food court before heading back to the bus. A little girl comes up to us. "Excuse me, but aren't you the girls dating One Direction?" I crouch to her level, "Yes, we are." She smiles wide at us. "Can I have an autograph? And maybe a picture?" "Anything for someone as cute as you." Parker says. Meli and Bianca nod and Aurora just smiles wide. We sign her paper, and then take some pictures with her. "Thank you!" She runs off...then comes back? "Oops, I almost forgot, can you give this to them?" "Sure." Meli says taking it and putting it in her purse. She runs off again to her mom. "If only all the fans could act like her." I say laughing. We finish eating and walk back to the bus.

--Meli's POV--

We get to the bus and I see a note on the doors. It says:

My Sweet Melina,

I know I haven't been the most romantic guy ever,

but that's going to change. Follow the petals to find the next note.

I hand Bianca my bags and follow the petals. They lead to our bunk. I open the curtain and on the bed is a really beautiful dress. There's a note on it:

My Lovely Girlfriend,

I know for your love of pink,

so I thought you'd like this dress.

Meet me at the pier at 6 p.m.

I'll see you at the ferris wheel.

"OH MY CARROTS!" I squeal. The others come rushing in. "What's wrong?" Bianca asks. "Nothing, I'm just so happy, I guess he decided to finally come through with romance." I say smiling. I look at the clock and see that it's 4 now, so I had 2 hours to get ready. I shower and blowdry my hair. Aurora does my hair and Anna does my make-up. Bianca does my nails and Parker finds shoes and a purse to match the dress. After a quick spritz of my new favorite perfume, I look like this:

"Thanks girls!" I say smiling. It's 5:50 now, so I leave to get a taxi to the pier. At 6 I'm almost to the ferris wheel. I spot Liam and smile at him. He grins back widely. I finally get to be in his arms. "What's with all of this. Don't get me wrong I absolutely loved it, but what's going on?" I say laughing. "I over heard you this moring about being more romantic, so here's where I'm starting. He says pointing to the ferris wheel. I smile and grab his hand and we climb into a car. I starts moving and stops when we get to the top. Fireworks start going off and as I look out the window I feel something cold go around my ring finger, "It's a promise ring. I know we just started dating, but I want you to know, that I, Liam James Payne, will always be there with you, remain faithful, and never let anything or anyone tear us apart." He says looking into my eyes. "Oh, Liam, thank you." I say tearing up. "Please tell me those are happy tears." He says looking hopeful. "Yes, these are happy tears." I say and kiss him as the ferris wheel starts moving again. We walk out of the car when it stops and we play a few carnival games before heading back. He got me this really cute teddy bear. "This has proven to be the best night of my life." I say. "I agree, love." He says as we're walking back holding hands. All of the sudden it starts raining. He looks at me and we stop walking. He cradles my cheek with his hand and leans in. We kiss like this for a bit and pull away. "I liked that." I say. "I did too, love." We then start to walk faster as we see paparazzi had snuck up on us. We get to the bus soaking wet, but I don't think either one of us cared. I grab my pajamas and change into them.

I go into bed and we cuddle, while James -yea I used his middle name- is at our feet. I give him a goodnight peck and drifted off into a sleep full of dreams including Liam and I living our lives together...forever.
