- A day later -

Ram paid for the painkiller he just bought and turned to leave but stopped when he saw Mek standing still and looking at some pills.

"Good morning P'." Mek looked at Ram and they silently bowed to each other.

"Good morning." He looked at the pills at his hand. "Are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah, I'm okay. This is for King." Mek looked at the pills again and grinned. Ram was just about to deny it when Mek stopped him. "Don't worry I am not like those jerks. I won't mock you. It's a normal thing after all. There is nothing extraordinary about having sex." Ram smiled thankfully.

"Thanks P'. How about you? Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I always have some problems sleeping. I'm here to take my medicine." Ram looked at Mek carefully. He had dark circles under his eyes and he looked really tired. He did look like this yesterday too but not this bad.

"Oh okay..." Ram thought about if he should continue or not for a second but decided to continue. "Look P'. I don't like to sound presuming but... I saw you and P'Boss yesterday and honestly, I am worried about you two. You don't look really good either. Are you guys okay? Is there anything we can help with?" Mek smiled and placed his hand at his shoulder.

"Don't worry about me. Boss and I.. We need some thinking. But I think everything will be better tomorrow. I can feel it." He squeezed his shoulder to assure him. "And I have some family problems too. That's why I am a little bit distressed these days. But nothing to worry about. Everything will be better."

"Okay... If you say so... Then I trust you." Mek smiled and tilted his head as he remembered something.

"Oh and, I am really happy for you and King. Please take good care after him. Normally, I take care of my friend group but it looks like it won't be like that anymore. Everyone has a lover now." They both laughed a little.

"I just realized that I never saw you laughing P'. I always see you with those sad eyes..." Mek smiled a little and messed his hair.

"I never saw you laughing too. But you always smile when you are with King. I hope you will smile more."

"I hope you too."

"Yeah, I don't know about that..." Rams happy face turned to a curious one but decided to say nothing. "I liked your mother's motto by the way. But sometimes people aren't strong enough for it." He squeezed his shoulder again and left the pharmacy. Ram blinked a couple times and decided to talk about this with his friends when they go to school.

"Good morning guys." King said while holding hands with Ram.

"It is indeed a good morning for someone." Bohn smirked and won a smack at his head from his boyfriend. "Ouch! Why did you do that??"

"Don't mess with them. It's rude." Bohn pouted and rubbed his head. Ram smiled at their silliness but stopped when he saw someone was missing.

"Where is P'Mek?"

"Aish, that boy is probably sleeping. As always."

"As always? What do you mean?"

"Mek looooves sleeping. He can sleep 7/24 you know."

"Yeah, I sometimes wonder if he is using a pill or not but he doesn't. I even searched his dorm to find it but there was no pill. I think his parents are pandas." All of them laughed, except Ram.

"But... I don't get it... Then why-" Ram stopped when their conversation came to his mind.

'I always have some trouble sleeping. I'm here to take my medicine.'
'I think everything will be better tomorrow. I can feel it.'
'I have some family problems too.'
'Everything will be better.'
'But it looks like it won't be like that anymore.'
'I don't know about that...'
'But sometimes people are not strong enough for it.'

Ram let go of Kings' hand.

"Ram?" King turned to him with a smile but froze when he saw he was shaking. "Ram?! What's going on?" Everyone turned to them with worried looks.

"He... He is not sleeping... We need to go.. Now.." When no one moved Ram tried to calm himself down but ended up screaming. "Now! Where is his dorm?!" Boss got up and showed the way. Everyone followed him until they reached his room. Ram started to bang on the door like crazy. Finally, Mek opened the door with a shocked face.

"What's going on?!" Ram looked at him and held his shoulders.

"Where are they?" When he didn't answer, he started to shake him. "Where are they?!"

"Ram stop!" King and Boss held his arms to stop him. Boss slammed his hand at his chest. "What do you think you are doing?!"

"Tell them!" Ram looked at Mek. Everyone turned to him with curiosity as Ram let himself free from their hands and started to search the pills.

"Stop looking." Mek took out the pill bottle from his pocket and gave it to Ram. Both of their eyes were filled with tears as Ram shook the empty bottle. "I am so tired Ram... I can't do this anymore. I don't expect you to understand it." When finally everyone realized what's going on, Boss grabbed Meks cheeks.

"Mek? Please tell me you didn't do it. Please. I'm sorry okay? I'm so sorry but please don-" He stopped when Mek fell on his knees, causing everyone to gasp in fear. His eyes were still open but he was not sure for how long they will. "Mek! Somebody call the ambulance!" While Ting stepped outside of the room to call the ambulance, Boss sat in front of Mek and held him again with his shaking hands. "Mek don't do this. Don't close your eyes. You are still so young for god's sake! Please don't leave us... Please don't leave me..." Mek smiled and reached to him. When he started to kiss him, the disgusting taste of those pills at his mouth made Boss cry even harder, but he still kissed him back. They didn't even finish kissing when Mek closed his eyes and stopped moving his lips. Boss started sobbing when he understood this and slowly backed his head away. He held him closer and hugged him, shaking even more. "I can't believe you... I hate you... Did you hear me?! I hate you Mek! I fucking hate you!" He started to punch his back but stopped when his friends held his arms. Ting came back to the room and looked at them.

"The ambulance is on its way. Is P'Mek o-" Ting screamed when she saw him laying on the floor without moving. She immediately closed her eyes. Ram, who was still shaking, started to talk.

"I... I saw him yesterday at a pharmacy. He said he always had a problem to sleep and he uses pills regularly. That's why I didn't suspect anything... I mean... He looked really tired and.. And I just believed him..." He looked at Boss with tears in his eyes. "I am so sorry P'... I should have suspected it and stopped him.."

"Enough. Shut up." Boss got up and walked up to him. "I understand it. Don't worry. What else did you talk about?"

"I asked about you two... He said everything will be better tomorrow and he can feel it... I got a little worried when he said this and.. And decided to talk about this with you guys. But it looks like I am too late.." Boss talked again with a shaking voice. It was clear that he was angry.

"W-what else?"

"Boss stop it." King got in front of Ram and placed his hand on his shoulder. "Look at him. He can't even standstill. He couldn't know this. Don't get angry at him."

"He said.." They both looked at Ram when he started to talk again. "He said he has some problems with his family too. That's why he was a little distressed these days.." Boss instantly turned his back to find Meks phone. When he found it, he sat beside Mek and held him while opening the phone.

"I knew it... This motherfucker..." He showed the phone to everyone. "Bao was threatening him." He looked at Meks closed eyes. "Why you never talk with us... You promised that we would stay by each other but you don't even give me a chance to stand by you..." He sobbed and kiss him for the last time as the sirens of the ambulance got closer. When they arrived, nurses placed Mek on a stretcher and took him to the ambulance. Boss couldn't even get up so Bohn and the others went to the hospital while Ram and King stayed with Boss. King sat beside Boss and hugged him closely.

"He just took the pills when we arrived. It's still not too late. They can still save him." King patted his head while Boss nodded and continued to cry. Ram couldn't even look at them because of how ashamed he was feeling. Boss looked at him with the side of his eye and silently talked.

"It's not your fault... I was not angry at you. I was angry at myself. I must understand something was wrong with him..."

"Boss I am his friend too but I didn't even suspect a thing."

"That's different. I love him, okay? I must have noticed it. That's why I told him I am not enough for him. I didn't even notice his brother was threatening him! I just thought he was annoying him!" King decided to stay silent and Ram couldn't even talk. "We should go to the hospital." He stood up with difficulty and got out of the room, leaving Rams and Kings worried faces at his back.
