Laura's POV :

One week had passed since that incident in the club. During this week, I spend every second trying to justify my action, repenting what I did, thinking how I could just do such a thing which would probably end up losing the only person I truly cared for.........

At the end of the week, I decided it would be best if I just face my worst fear and finally bring myself to talk to him.

It was a Monday, and school had started again after a small break for the finishing of the half yearly examination.

As I walked down the hallway, I mentally repeated the words I decided to say to him. As soon as the bell rang, indicating it's lunch time, I rushed to the 2nd floor. I had his routine memorized, he was supposed to finish his physics class then.

But I stood dead in tracks as I stumbled across the classroom he was supposed to be in. The room was almost empty by now, except for the silhouettes two people.

My breath hitched as I realized to whom the figures belonged to.........

*3rd Person's POV*:

After passing a dreadful week without talking to Laura, Louis was excited and partly nervous to finally come face to face with her.

As his physics class ended, I started racing towards the cafeteria, knowing Laura will be there. But he stopped in his tracks as he heard a familiar voice calling his name.

"Zoe?"

"Hey Lou." Zoe moved the chairs and hopped in one, "Do you think you can help me with this question?"

"Sure."

"Take a seat first." Zoe gestured the seat next to hers.

"So....I can't understand the difference between Petrol and Naptha."

"Oh," Louis started, "Petrol is Petroleum, a fluid consisting of a mixture of refined Petroleum Hydrocarbons, primarily consisting of Octane. On the other hand, naptha is a naturally- occurring liquid Petroleum........"

As Louis went on, Zoe suddenly looked over at the window. A strange smile crept up on her lips at the thought.

Without any warning, Zoe tilted her head at Louis and pressed a soft peck on his lips.

Louis wanted to tell her something, say she got it all wrong, tell her that a certain blond captured his heart like no one could ever, but he couldn't. Instead, he was too shocked to move a muscle, and unable to look at her with wide eyes.

But what the blue eyed boy didn't know was, Laura was standing a few feets away from them, trying not to crumple down at the sight.
She felt like a thousand knives was stabbing her heart, as if a ravening fire was burning her lungs, leaving them lifeless and empty. But she was trying hard not to break down in heart clenching sobs, not to let her tears fall the same way her heart was bleeding.......
