"Boo!!" I yelled and jumped on Jonah to scare him.

"What the hell Kayla!! You scared me you, animal" he said, one hand was on his chest and eyes wide as an owl and I can't help but laugh at him.

"That was the moto." I said in a boring voice.

"I could have had a heart attack" he said putting his bag on his study chair.

"Well then I would have been attending your funeral" I said and plopped down on his bed and briefly closed my eyes.

"You are crazy" he shook his head and looked down at me.

"And you are acting weird" I said and opened my one eye to see his furrowed eyes staring back at me.

"Dude, you haven't replied my messages, so don't give me that look" I said and walked to the mini freeze that he has in his room, I wasn't actually excepting anything so that was a shock to find bottles of soft drink in it.

"That was only today" he said and took the soft drink bottle that I passed to him. His mother called me, she said that he has been busy whenever she calls and obviously Jonah is not a guy who would start preparing for exams, months ago and I know there is something wrong.

Or maybe he is seeing you after months that's why he doesn't want to confide.

"Whatever, let's watch a movie, how about 'Carol'? It's a good movie" I assured him because I do know he will never see a movie that I have suggested he always says that the movies I made him watch are way too cliché or maybe he doesn't have a taste.

After arguing for about half an hour, we both decided to watch 'stand by me'.We have watched it a lot of times but we never complete it, every time we decide to watch it, something comes up and we have to leave it, I just hoped it doesn't happen today.

After the movie ended, I was in tears as the song was playing on the screen which I was looking at. I love how the movie ended it actually wasn't just a cliché love story for teens it was about the people and their demons. The thing was that we watched the whole movie today without any interference.

"You know, I think you should know this" Jonah said while switching off the laptop, his eyes were on the keyboards.

"I- I think that I am gay" he looked up at me and I smiled, I smiled because I knew that already, after all, I was his best friend.

"Why are you smiling? Gosh, I am not fooling you, I know yesterday was 1st of April but Kayla I swear it's not a joke" he said and runs his fingers through his hair, a habit that he always does whenever he is nervous.

"I know." I said as calmly as I can.

"How long and when?"

"Remember, when we watched Captain America Civil War?" I asked to which he nodded his head in yes.

"Maybe you don't remember but you said 'Damn' while watching Chris Evans or was it Robert Downey Jr?" I smirked up at him.

"But don't worry, I'll be here whenever you want to come out ok?" I said and took his hands in mine.

"You are gonna stand by me?" he asked and smiled a little.

"I am gonna stand by you" I said and hugged him tightly.
