I was walking up the street to the tree house when I heard whispering. I quietly started to climb the ladder. I flinched at the sound of the top board creaking as I reached for it. I opened my eyes and listened closer. All of a sudden, I heard Chris's voice, it was low, deep and a bit raspy. Almost a whisper. I then heard Gordie's voice saying,

"Chris! You are talking about our best friend!"

"I know! I know! It's just that she's so amazing... she's so beautiful, the way her hair falls on her shoulders, I am always thinking about her now."

Chris said in a dreamy voice. I gasped at what I had just heard. Then Gordie started to talk again.

"Hello? Earth to Chris, Earth to Chris! Seriously?! Man you need to confess this to her or I will."

"No! Please don't tell her. It would mean everything to me if you didn't."

A smile crept onto my face at the sound of his sweet voice. And that the fact he wanted to be special when he told me. I heard foot steps and good byes and Gordie came down the ladder. I jumped out of the way as he climbed down the rope ladder. As soon as Gordie turned the corner, I scrambled up as if nothing happened.

"Heyyy... Chris."

"Oh, hey Ariana."

He said looking at me.

"Uh, Chris i have something to tell you."

"Shoot."

"Ok. So there's this guy that I like, and well,  he has blonde hair, kinda tall, and he has the most beautiful blue icy blue eyes."

He smirked at me,

"Sounds like your describing me."

He said as I smirked, the corners of my mouth starting to hurt.
