"Alright everyone!"

Elizabeth addresed the newbies that were standing in a line in front of her.

"I'm here to help you all learn to use your powers, some of you are training to join the Avengers, while others are new members of SHIELD. I'm going to help teach you the basics of using your powers, how to control them and-"

"Yada Yada Yada. We all know the drill. With great power comes great responsibility. Can we just train now?"

Skyler high fived Conner who started snickering at her joke.

Elizabeth narrowed her eyes.

"Sky, do I need to bring Steve out here?"

Skyler made a panicked face and frantically zipped her lips.

Conner snickeres.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes.

How did they get in the Avengers in the first place?

"Ok, to help out with training, I've asked two friends of mine to help out."

Everyone turned towards the newcomers.

"This is Isabelle and and Annette, Isabelle is a SHIELD agent and Annette is part of the X-Men."

"Why is it that everyonr only joins the Avengers, SHIELD, or the X-Men?"

Conner asked.

"Why doesn't anyone join the Fantastic Four?"

"I think that would ruin the point."

Alexia pointed out.

"It could still work! If someone joined they could be the Fantastic Five."

Skyler started laughing, but quickly covered it as a cough when Elizabeth gave her a look.

"Ok so before we begin, does everyone know who everyone is?"

Elizabeth saw the awkward glances and sighed.

"Ok, so I'm Elizabeth."

She went down the line of people.

"Here we have Jane, Conner, Alexia, Lyra, and Skyler is here because she is being punished."

"What'd she do?"

Jane asked.

"I broke the HulkBuster."

Lyra widened her eyes.

"Seriously?"

"It was just a finger! I accidently broke a finger off of the HulkBuster!"

Skyler crossed her arms.

"I keep telling Tony that he needs to work on that thing. He always lets it rust."

Conner shook his head.

Elizabeth clapped her hands.

"Hey! Let's remain focused people! We also have two guests with us. Anthony and Iris are friends of Skyler. They're going to watch your training."

"They're going to watch?"

Alexia asked.

Elizabeth nodded.

"Yes."

"Wait a minute, where's Loki Iris?"

Skyler asked.

"With Thor. I wonder what they're doing."

Iris could probably guess that whatever it was it wasn't good.

"Ok, so the first thing we'll do is go over everyone's powers. Let's see... Lyra why don't you go first?"

"Me?"

"Yeah. Show us what you can
do."

"Alright then."

Lyra paused for a moment, and suddenly disappeared.

"SHE HAS THE RING OF POWER!"

Conner shouted.

Skyler and Alexia laughed at the joke while Elizabeth rolled her eyes.

"Ok Lyra, you can reappear
now."

"Do I have to?"

"Yes."

"Ok."

Lyra appeared again, only now she was standing right in front of Elizabeth.

"ACK!!!"

Elizabeth jumped back in surprise while everyone else laughed.

Lyra high fived Conner who nodded his approval.

"Haha. Very funny."

Elizabeth glared at Isabelle and Annette, who were trying to hold back laughter.

"Conner. You're next."

Conner struted to the front of the group.

"My name is Conner, my Avenger name is SilverHawk, and this is what I do."

Conner suddenly sped off, and then reappeared with a loaded bow in his hands and shot an apple off of Elizabeth's head in under 30 seconds.

Conner bowed while Elizabeth looked nervously at the apple with an arrow sticking out of it.

"Uh... Very impressive Conner. From now on, let's avoid shooting apples off of people's heads."

"What about oranges?"

Conner asked.

"No."

"Grapefruit?"

"No."

"A watermelon?"

"NO SHOOTING ANYTHING OFF OF ANYONE'S HEADS IS THAT CLEAR?!?!?"

Conner was sipping a large soft drink.

"Sorry, I ran over to Mc Donalds's for a soda. What'd you say?"

Elizabeth drilled him with an icy stare.

Conner gulped.

"Ok... Alexia? Would you like to show us what you can do?"

"Sure!"

Elizabeth jumped again when she realized that Alexia was standing right behind her.

"How did you-"

"I can sneak anywhere I want undetected. And I can do this."

Alexia walked over to Conner.

"Hey Conner, you're going to behave from now on, ok? No more jokes, pranks or anything."

Conner suddenly stood up straight and replied,

"Of course Alexia, I'll do whatever you ask."

Skyler burst out laughing.

"That is awesome!"

Alexia high fived her and they watched as Conner ditched his soda and stood quietly waiting for Elizabeth to speak.

"Alright Jane, what can you do?"

Jane said nothing, she seemed to be focusing on something else...

It started getting cold, really cold.

The sky clouded over and it started snowing.

"S-snow i-in s-sum-summer?"

Lyra asked wrapping her arms around her while trying to stay warm.

Jane looked over at Elizabeth.

"I can control the temperature."

"C-can y-you t-turn u-up t-he h-heat?"

Elizabeth asked.

Jane focused again and suddenly it stopped snowing, and the sun came out again.

Only now it was blazing hot!

"So.... Hot...."

Alexia fanned herself with her hand.

"Conner! Come fan me!"

"Of course Alexia!"

Conner ran off and came back with a fan, which he fanned super fast.

"Oh yeah that's better..."

"Can you turn the temperature back to normal?"

Skyler begged.

Jane turned the temperature back to way it was before.

"Is that all Jane?"

Elizabeth asked.

"Sorta, I can also do this."

Jane pulled water from the air and began to make a large ball of water.

"That's awesome."

Skyler stared wide eyed at the water.

Which suddenly sprayed everyone in sight.

"Ack! Jane!"

Lyra looked down at her soaked clothes.

"That wasn't me!"

Iris was laughing quietly to herself.

You're not the only one who can control water my friend.

"Alright, um... Jane? Could you make it warm enough to dry us off real quick?"

Elizabeth asked.

After they were dry it was Skyler's turn.

"Alright guys, just because I don't have fancy smancy super powers like you, does not mean that I'm not just as super!"

"So what can you do?"

Anthony spoke for the first time that day.

Skyler smiled.

"Watch this."

Skyler turned to Alexia.

"Could you ask Conner to bring me something big?"

"How big?"

"Huge."

Alexia nodded and asked Conner to carry out Skyler's order.

Conner returned fifteen seconds later with large SHIELD truck.

"Wait. How did he get that over here?"

Jane asked.

"He doesn't have super strength."

"Never underestimate Conner."

Skyler then positioned herself a few feet away from the truck.

She was wearing a black suit with strange gloves.

She slipped her headphones on and stood with her hands stretched out in front of her.

"Anyone else hear humming?"

Isabelle asked.

"Yeah..."

Annette replied.

Suddenly a noise that shook the ground filled the air, everyone covered their ears and watched as the truck flew backwards, slamming into a tree.

Skyler smiled and removed her headphones.

She folded her hands in front of her and bowed ninja-style.

"That's how you do it folks!"

She walked back over to the others.

"No one likes a show-off Sky."

Conner rolled his eyes.

"Look who's talking Mr. Braggy."

"Not now guys!"

Elizabeth turned over to Anthony.

"Do you want to show us what you can do?"

Anthony shrugged.

"I can turn invisible like Lyra, and I can do this-"

Anthony suddenly changed his entire appearance.

Now he was shorter, and looked like a little kid.

"AWESOME!"

Skyler shouted.

"Can you change in Fury and make all the SHIELD agents wear sombreroes?"

Anthony turned back to normal.

"Nope. Sorry Sky."

"Dang."

Meanwhile, the present SHIELD agents sighed in relief.

"Ok guys, we still have a lot to do so let's get started."

Elizabeth turned to Isabelle, you work with Alexia, Annette, you work with Jane, I'll do Lyra."

"What about us?"

Conner asked.

"Uh..."

Elizabeth glanced at Conner and Skyler, then at Iris and Anthony.

"Would you two mind?"

Iris shrugged.

"Sure."

"Wait what? I get an Adgardian teacher?!?"

Conner exclaimed.

"No, you get a shapeshifter."

Iris walked over to work with Skyler, leaving Conner to Anthony.

What a relief.

Conner thought.

After training with Thor for three weeks I don't think I could handle another Asgardian.
